Within walking distance you will find numerous cafes and restaurants, cocktail bars and brunch shops, offering great quality and choice to sit in or take away. Within a few minutes, you can wander around the scenic cobbled alleys of the Old Town or walk around the Venetian Harbour, explore its shops and unique markets or find out about the city’s unique history. The Municipal Market is also the perfect spot for your local product shopping like honey, cheese & herbs, and an interesting walk to get a glimpse of the local everyday life. At the city’s central bus station, located just 180m away, you can find bus routes connecting all major points of the island of Crete and all the famous beaches and sights to the north or south. Please be aware that our rates exclude an additional stayover tax. For stays from March to October, the tax is €1.5 per night, while from November to February, it is €0.5 per night. This tax applies to all bookings starting January 1st, 2024. Guests are required to pay this additional tax directly to the check-in assistant who will be responsible for key handover upon arrival.
