Welcome to Tropic Way, the ideal family house, located just minutes from the beach. This beautiful, spacious house is newly decorated in a beach-chic style. It is perfect for beach time, boating, kayaking, or fishing, all just minutes away. While you are not directly beachside, it's a short walk to the beach and only a short drive to historic St. Augustine as well as other attractions and restaurants. Tropic Way has space for everyone, even two whole groups. The entire house has been newly redecorated with professional interior design for your enjoyment. Also, the cottage is equipped with WiFi. So bring your electronic devices and stay in touch with family and friends. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and all pots and pans, dinnerware, glasses and utensils, and appliances for preparing a large meal or just sitting and enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The home has everything you need. There is a four-person dining table in the kitchen and a separate dining area with a six-person dining table. Kick your feet up and relax in the inviting living area, which has been equipped with comfortable sofas and a smart TV. The main suite is equipped with an extremely comfortable new bed and an en suite bath with a standalone shower. The other two bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower. Additional amenities include a full-size washer/dryer, ideal for wet beach towels. This darling retreat is located on A1A and is centered between the Intercoastal Waterway and St. Augustine Beach. The beach is known for its miles of white sand and the Inter Coastal for its fishing and boating. There is parking available on the property for your boat. Devil's Elbow is a perfect place to launch and is a short drive away. You will not be indoors long with all St. Augustine has to offer, from Alligator Farm, Nightly Ghost Tours, the Fort, and even a sunset tour on a real pirate ship, all less than eight miles away. THINGS TO KNOW Dog-friendly! A portion of this home's proceeds will be donated to fund cancer research and find a cure. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. The location was very good, the house is basically clean but they could do some additional cleaning like windows and ceiling fans. For the price, the house was a good value although they seem to make up for a low daily rate with large cleaning fee so if you are only staying a few nights the value is less. The mattresses on all the beds were sub-par/cheap, we all felt tired in the morning. The living room is very spacious and has a pull out bed in the sofa if that is important to you. But the sofa was very stiff/ uncomfortable and not easy to watch TV. We will not stay again because we like a comfy living room area for Netflix nights with family.

The house was large enough for all us . Only issue was the master bathroom sink was slow to drain. Everyone had a great time. Home was updated.

We stayed in this house for a quick weekend trip. We loved that the house was so clean and well kept. We did not love that the beds were all pretty firm. Firm beds are definitely not always a bad thing, but they are a deal breaker for us. I’m always thankful when a review mentions that so I can choose a different option. So adding it here as an FYI. We did have an issue with WiFi. The WiFi information given in the email is incorrect. We tried the live chat option for help and they wanted to possibly send someone out the next day to check, but it was late and we wanted to try again the next day. We belatedly realized there is a sign in the house in front of the tv with the correct WiFi name and password (and it can be found on the router). And once we had the correct information, the WiFi worked great. We would have also liked more information about how to access the closest beach and check out instructions. Most every VRBO we have ever used had tasks we had to complete before leaving, but I am assuming this house does not. We never received instructions, just a text to allow us to officially check out. All of these details are to help future visitors. The house was super cute, extremely clean, affordable, and perfect for what we needed.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We had 4 adults one teenager and a large do who loved the backyard! Lisa from Vacasa texted us upon arrival and when we had difficulty logging on to the wifi she was on it immediately! She was able to resolve our issue. This was a nice clean well kept home tucked back in a quiet neighborhood! We visit every yr and we will be returning to this property!!

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from Flagler College and had a wonderful time! The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and in good driving distance to restaurants and grocery stores. The house is spacious and clean. We especially loved the patio out back!

Its a new remodel it was nice and spacious when we arrived they had no curtains but they came out and fixed it upon request and we were expecting a completely fenced in backyard and it was not fenced in and it was a little aggravating to have to walk the dogs all day. But other then that it was a pleasant stay with about 5-8 minute drive to the beach.

We enjoyed our time at this newly renovated home on Tropic Way. Beautifully decorated and appointed. Fully outfitted kitchen. Great water pressure in the showers. Speedy Internet connectivity supported my remote work and the four brand new Smart TVs. We walked at the convenient (only 4 minutes away) Butler Beach every sunrise.
