Amazing

Idyllischer Ort, großartiges Personal. Rumha Dharma 1 ist noch etwas schöner gelegen (Blick auf Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang), aber Rumha Dharma 2 ist dafür noch kleiner und ruhiger. Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Schöne idyllische Unterkunft

Rund um tolle Unterkunft, hätten gerne der Unterkunft 10 Sterne gegeben, sie selbst hätte diese absolut verdient. Toller Pool, angenehme Lage abseits des Borobudur-Trubel. Schöne "Zimmer", bzw ganze Häuschen, mit allem was man braucht. Und ein schöner Blick ins grün, lassen einen absolut entspannen.

Leider 1 Punkt Abzug aufgrund der doch sehr penetranten Lautsprecher (mehrere in der unmittelbaren Umgebung) der Moscheen, welche nicht nur tagsüber sonder auch in der Nacht mehrfach aktiv sind. Hat uns leider in beiden Nächten den Schlaf geraubt.

Good place to stay

Nice small and quiet campsite with comfortable lodges and a decent swimming pool. Friendly staff and nice dinner. Okay, there is no selection in dishes, just what they prepare for the evening, but tastefull. We didn't use the bikes, but they looked in good shape.

Superb

This hotel is a cute paradise, lost in the middle of the countryside. Bungalows are really nice, it is very calm and relaxing. The food there is amazing. If you want to walk to the city center, this is only 20 minutes and feasible. Really. You ll see amazing sunset when passing by the other rumah dharma hotel. The other Rumah Dharma hotel seems really nice too but we definitely had a preference for ours, more more intimate. Take one of their bicycle to go around the village and go to wahu tipuh. Amazing there !!

Top accommodation and service for a very reasonable price.

This has exceeded our expectations in many ways. The main highlight is the tranquility of the place and it’s location off the beaten track in Borobudur. Still close to everything you came there for - to the temple (5min ride on a bicycle), the Main Street with restaurants (2mins), the fields overlooking the temple (1min). They rent bicycles for free, let you use the smimming pool anytime plus the food they serve is one of the best we had in Indonesia - simple but innovative and delicious! The whole property is very well maintained and we really appreciated the minimalist design of the room. Also the garden is carefully designed to make you feel relaxed. We honestly don’t get the low price for such a gem and have to say it’s amongst the best stays we’ve ever had so far, if not the best at all (and we’ve travelled a lot). If you prefer a place with spirit and quality over quantity, this is definitely your choice. :)

wonderful, relaxing

lovely atmosphere

My room’s door could not be closed without putting the locked on and because of this, there is a gap between doors. I’m not sure because of this gap I had many mosquito bites around my arms and legs in the last 2 night of my staying.

Loved it!

Lovely quiet hotel. Very helpful staff who obtained tickets for Borobudur temple and who also cooked superb dinners. Great swimming pool.

Fantastic place to visit Borobudur

Really lovely place; the staff was superb very attentive, very organise and very friendly. They also helped us organise taxis to and from the hotel and to Prambanam The food was nice food, and the location is great, hidden in the vegetation. We loved how you can just bike to the temple. We also used the laundry service and it was fantastic. We would stay back again.

Peaceful and relaxing

Peaceful pretty place by the river. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay there! The staff was very nice and gave us some recommendations during our stay (view points, restaurants).

You cannot eat onsite so you will need to either do food delivery or get a scooter / taxi to eat. Make sure you clarify how you will pay on arrival as if you plan to use credit card, you will need to go to their sister venue. You can hear the neighbors (all rooms are in a line facing the pool) but with reasonable neighbors this should be ok!

Very comfortable staying for Dog friendly place

It's a dog friendly. Staff also very friendly. Not much of food option but it's delicious. The place is clean and suitable for us who look for peaceful place. And they provide free bicycle..

Nice homestay near Borobudur

Its location was quite separated from the settlement, therefore it was so calm and comfortable to stay. However, it is not far from the Borobudur temple. The garden is beautiful, the pool is also nice. The water is clear. The staffs prepared delicious snacks and meal for breakfast, and we can use the bicycle which are prepared in front of every room for free.

The lighting in the room is dim. If the lighting is changed, I think it would be better.

I will definitely come back again to this lovely staff and peaceful place.

What did I not like? Everything from staff to environment, to room was wonderful. The bathroom is spacious and I absolutely LOVED the shower as you could choose the large shower head from top or the handheld lower down. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large and clean. The staff made sure I had everything I needed from the moment I got there to the moment I left, offering to call me a taxi. They had bikes you could use for free but I just didn't have time for it. The pool area is beautiful and the whole place sits almost tucked in next to small river and trees. I liked that there were only 5 rooms, very intimate, friendly and welcoming.

Bathroom mirror needed some cleaning. There were empty soap box and dental care box that looked like they were full. One of the lights by the bed weren't working.

Exceptional place! Lovely break from the city

What a beautiful place! It's a great break from Yogja. We travelled here by scooter for a few days, highly recommended. The staff is super friendly, the surrounding is quiet and the pool area coulnd't be more comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night (go for the 'big dinner') and that was very good. The room was huge and very luxurious with a comfortable bed.

Wonderful - great value

We ended up staying in the sister guesthouse not the one by the riverside because the taxi dropped us in the wrong place (and it looked so lovely we stayed) so note this review is for the guesthouse in the fields not by the river. This is a wonderful, tranquil guest house in the middle of the paddy fields. Fabulous location, easy biking (5 minutes) to temple site. Wished we had stayed longer. On tap tea and coffee. Team organised dinner for us - best meal we had in Java. Little gift on checkout.

Honestly nothing - we stayed in a number of over priced, crowded, noisy, not very clean places on our trip through Java - this was not one of them.

Superb

The location indeed in the middle of kampoong, but if you need alternative place for relaxing, enjoying ambience and view, here you will not disappointed. The staff were nice and very helpful. If we have time again in future, we don't mind to come back and stay there. Recommended. By the way, no television 😁. But we didn't need it. And eat for dinner, you must order in advance. The breakfast, amazing.

My Borobudur

Everything was wonderful surroundings, hotel, service for 5 * Large and beautiful bathroom with a view of the jungle. Very good food. Toke comes to us, it was amazing. I didn't have to be afraid of being so close to nature. Lovely place.

Exceptional

We love this place!!! Everything was great. Nice room, good bed, good bathroom. The ambiance is great. Beautiful garden and pool. And the food is great!!!! We had two times dinner and It was perfect. Breakfast is also perfect. Good choice and everything fresh. We would stay here again for sure. And the boys really took great care of everything. Oh and don’t forget to go cycling 🚲
