One of the best views around and incredibly peaceful at night. The guests were incredibly friendly and I loved my stay. Would highly rate and will be using for work purposes again.

Het was een fijne rustige plek. Het huisje was fijn en schoon en we hadden van alles ter beschikking. Met een huurauto is het huisje goed te bereiken en de gastheer was top! We hebben hem weinig gesproken, maar hij is erg aardig en behulpzaam.

Quiet place, fantastic view, good location and friendly host

Mt Barker was our favourite place to stay during our trip around the South Island. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The area is serene and quiet, and the scenery is stunning. The property is close to town, and the National Transport and Toy Museum is just a couple of minutes drive away. The bungalow is large, comfortable and well-equipped – with new and modern interiors – the perfect place to relax. We really enjoyed watching the sunset through the large glass doors and windows.

Wow! What a beautiful property!! The hospitality of the owners was beyond amazing, the location is incredible (make sure you check it out at sunset!), and the cabin was cosy, clean and everything we could have wanted.

Beautiful location with views on the mountains. The landlord speaks german which made everything very easy for us. Our daughter was allowed to use the landlord's trampoline so that she had a lot of fun. The cabin was in lovely condition. The landlord and his son were extremly friendly - we felt totally welcomed and would love to come back and stay a little bit longer. 2 days is not enough!

If you like to sleep in the dark that is a problem as the shutters are quite bright. So you wake up very early when the sun comes out.
