The Pell is a beautiful hotel and great amenities. The only criticism I have is there is no elevator - there are 3 floors. If you are on the 2nd or 3rd level you have to have your luggage carried up the stairs - the front desk will do that for you if you want. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect - quiet, spacious rooms, great amenities and great location.

Older property but recently renovated. Rooms were large. Staff was great. Some challenges with load tv next door and a dripping HVAC but the staff worked to correct the issues. A cheaper breakfast option would’ve been great.

Hotel was spotless and nicely remodeled. Loved the restaurant and bar areas. Room is adequate a little on the small side, only one chair in the room, not enough for 2 people. Bathroom was spacious and clean. The refillable shampoo and body wash bottles in the shower were empty.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and every clean. The front desk clerk was extremely friendly and very helpful with questions about the local area. My husband went to the fitness center every morning and it had everything that he needed. The rooms were very nicely decorated and not cluttered with a bunch of furniture. The beds were very comfortable as well. I would highly recommend this hotel it was a GEM! We were looking for a peaceful & relaxing stay and we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved everything about this property! From the time we arrived, and had to enter through an alternative entrance (the door was being remodeled), the front desk took the time to make sure we got in OK, and checked in seamlessly. The rooms have obviously been remodeled and are clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The bathrooms were clean and very modern. The peloton in the gym was an unexpected bonus, so I didn’t lose my streak (IYKYK)! We felt very lucky to have happened upon this hotel searching online. Very affordable and super close to get to Newport without paying Newport prices! We stayed two nights, and everything was superb! Highly recommend!

The walls of the suite are very thin. I was awaken by the people above me at passed 12 :30 am and kept me awake until passed 1:30 am. Also I was awaken by the people next to me at 6:30 am until passed 8 am. I was not able to get a good night sleep. Further, there was not rope or sleepers to get my self comfortable. Either there were snacks, microwave or a fridge that was big enough to fit to go food.

Honestly everything about the stay was great except the bed was too soft for my personal taste. Service was great as was the restaurant. The bathroom was spacious with great products. Highly recommend

Great property & lovely vibe, but the noise that carried up from the lobby into our room interrupted our sleep. We stayed in Newport for an R&R night out, but wound up losing a good nights sleep. Unfortunate, because we loved everything else about the stay and would stay again --- but a wedding crew came back around midnight and carried the party back with them.

This was an unexpected surprise. The hotel was in a nice residential area and it was very quiet. The room was nice and clean. Although I didn’t require daily housekeeping services, housekeeping did come by everyday and left a note under the door saying they were sorry they missed the opportunity to clean the room. I would stay at The Pell again.

Booked 2 rooms. Check-in was mixed up by staff by checking in my father's room and billed his card rather than mine, didn't explain any of the total charges and fumbled thru the computer system for 15min during the check-in process. Place was an old hotel that was updated to a more modern style. Comfortable but basic. Old style heater/air con was quite loud and would wake you up when kicking on at night.
