One of my favorite hotels stays during our 6 week European trip. Fantastic service, exceptionally clean, comfortable and a great location to everything Killarney has to offer. Spent every night in the hotels pub as the food, drinks and service was first class. 10/10!

Nice hotel in a perfect location for walking Killarney. We were able to easily walk the city and national park area. Hotel itself was clean and staff was incredibly helpful. Room was quiet and clean.

I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel more! The staff continuously went over and above and were so kind and friendly. The breakfast was divine. We had dinner in the hotel one night also, and the food was too such a high-quality. I would 100% return.

The International is a wonderful place to stay on holiday. Perfect location in town, everything is within walking distance. A great staff, great restaurant, and so beautiful and comfortable!!!

Little touches were missing , Email was sent to me (advising early shutting of restaurant , due to staff Christmas party …..correspondence in French !!!! Also request for a breakfast hot chocolate ( turned down because they couldn’t operate machine ( no offer to pick one up from multiple coffee shops just on doorstep

We were put in Room 148. We are both over 70 and it was a trek to get to our room. Consideration should be given by staff to this . Food was great , bar was great, access to town was great but spoiled by room location. Staff were superb , otherwise.

Nice rooms but all the stairs were a surprise. Doesn’t matter what floor, you need to carry your luggage up and down.

This hotel is made by the people. Helpful, friendly and responsive. The food was great and reasonably priced. The rooms are a bit dated in style but arguably in keeping with the grand old building. The rooms are clean and well maintained though. We were at the back of hotel which may have been lucky as the front rooms overlook a busy junction which may have been a bit noisy. Perfectly located for business and tourism. We would definitely return and recommend.

Beautiful, impeccably clean hotel. I felt like Kate Middleton walking around this fancy hotel, and it’s not even expensive. Can’t beat the location, and it’s also a 7-minute walk to the train station which is why we booked it. Cons: small rooms, and no property parking lot.

Parking was really easy and it was a great location if you have a car. The hotel is just off the high street around the corner so it was convenient. We had two room and we had to go down a few hallways to get there so beware if you have luggage. Overall it was a perfect hotel for our stay.

We absolutely loved Killarney. It is such a cool city. The hotel was nice and clean. Very pretty. The restaurant was amazing. Only drawback was the parking issue. You have to find street parking —however, our hostess was great at giving us tips!

Very hot bedroom with no air just fan which just moved hot air. Very noisy with loud music until 11:30pm, then fighting & loud yelling outside which one could easily hear. Morning coffee in dining was very weak & not able to eat breakfast when convenient. Had to make reservations for specific time & not lots of options with big groups staying there as well.

Lovely hotel, rooms were funny to get to. The staff was kind and helpful. The bed was fantastic... the bathroom had a moldy musty smell. Had to keep windows open to keep air fresh.

We enjoyed ourselves so much at this hotel that we are already looking at dates to go back. It is right in the heart of Killarney and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff cannot do enough for you and are very friendly. There is a vast breakfast choice and we did not have a bad meal.

There was no place to park to unload luggage. There was supposed to be free parking. They gave us a map, but did not tell us that it was free only for a short time over night. We had to carry our luggage a long way through an ally. We had a hard time finding a place to park that we would not get booted. The other issue was the terrible shower. It did not have a shower curtain, only a small glass piece on the side. Impossible to shower without getting water all over the floor and room. Then when we stepped out of the deep tub, we had to mop up the floor to make it safe to walk in the bath room. We are in our 80's and this is unacceptable. When we told the receptionist they would not acknowledge there was a problem and needed a shower curtain. WE WANT A REFUND!!!!

Family trip for 4. Huge room. Friendly staff. Shame there was no onsite parking but it's a small town. Safe parking down the road. There was a leak from the bath into downstairs but staff were very helpful in providing us with another room. Would stay here again.

We had an amazing time, the hotel staff were so friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us, kept asking us at breakfast if we would like more tea/toast etc A welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates in the room, I will always stay at The International as the location is the best !
