We had two rooms and requested adjoining but were told they didn’t have any such rooms when in fact they did. Two adults and two kids in each in one room the microwave, phone and ac didn’t work and only one hand two hand towels and one face towel were stocked on arrival and a loaded gun magazine was found in the room. In the other room the beds did not appear clean and only two towels were stocked there was no guest service number to call on the phone had to go down to lobby to ask for anything. Pool didn’t have working lights to swim after sundown. Would not recommend to anyone especially for the price you pay!

I belive this Shilo Inn in Yuma was one of the first in Yuma. The room was due for a remodel. All the wallpaper was peeling around room and it appeared to have mold behind the seams. There was a gap in the wall and cieling. There are holes in the bathroom door and the doorknob was broken. The carpet made a "crunching sound" when walking on it. The plus side, bed was comfortable and the sheets were fresh. The room had a microwave and fride-freezer combo. Overall not bad for one night.

The property was run down and sad. A broken pipe was repaired with no water for the evening, next morning- no hot water, no wash cloths, hall carpet need cleaning, broken appliances in the back by the pool.
The front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. They apologetically explained the situations at hand.
I remember the Shilo Inn as one of the best stays in Yuma.

If you are planning to make use of the steam room or sauna forget it. They dont heat. Hot tub. Nope. Dry and flaking paint. Excercise equipment either non functional or garage sale level. Room was pretty clean. Bed was not horrible.

Overall not a bad place. Could have been cleaner, dirty carpet and floor in bathroom. Beds were clean but mattresses were very soft. Hot tub was not functional while we were there. Hotel is pretty dated.

This used to be a decent hotel at a decent rate. The rate is still good but the hotel is run down. The sheets and towels are paper thin and dingy and overall the place needs a full renovation. The hottub was broken and when we asked for more pillows, we were told they didn't have any. On a positive note, the staff was very nice and helpful.

The condition of the hotel is on par for the price. It seems they spent a lot of money on the lobby & exercise room, but as soon as you step into the hallway, you can see the deferred maintenance everywhere.
The elevator is actually a little scary. One evening the maintenance man had to reset the elevator because it got stuck on the 4th floor. Thank goodness I was on the ground floor & could walk to the front desk for assistance. Inside the elevator the floor lights never worked for floors 3 & 4. The maintenance person was not surprised by this.
Every day the room keys had to be reset because they quit working. I got into the habit of automatically going & getting my keys reset before heading back to my room.
I stayed for a week. From the moment I arrived the hot tub was broken; every day a staff member would say that they had just gotten the needed parts or parts were on the way & it would be fixed later that day/tomorrow. It was never repaired & the pool was dirty.
My room had a fridge & microwave but no safe. Traveling across the boarder to get dental work done, I would like to have had a safe to feel comfortable leaving valuables in my room.
In spite of the hotel condition & missing safe, the staff was amazing! Every request & need was taken care of by them with a fabulous attitude & kind, friendly service. On the day I left I had forgotten two items in my room. Twice the maintenance person brought both items to me in the parking lot. I've never had that happen b4.

Staff is great. No maintenance available after 3pm so if you have an issue you are on your own to fix it or pack up all your stuff and move to another room if available. Pool wasn’t well cleaned but they do have great pool towels. I recommend getting the pool towels to use in your room.

The Shilo Inn is old and has not been maintained at all. We were on the 3rd floor and as soon as we got out of the elevator, we were hit with an awful stench. The inside door frame of our room looked like some large dog had gnawed through the wood. We originally booked a four night stay, but l left after two nights. We were told at our new hotel that they had herd this same information from other guests of the Shilo Inn.

We have stayed here a few times, our grandson loves the hot tub. However the hot tub was not working at our visit and he was unhappy about that. We might have chosen a different hotel had we known

Nice clean place to stay with lots of room. (And reasonably priced.) Kneaders is just a quick walk away for breakfast, lunch or a quick decadent snack. Angry Crab shares the parking lot where a lot of great options for dining or drinks (and happy hour) is also available.

Loud A/C and dimly lit hallway to rooms. An older hotel with a bit outdated furnishings, but all of the staff I encountered were super friendly and helpful. Overall, I would personally stay again. It was a huge plus that they are dog friendly, as I had my dog with me. They also have dog baggy dispensers in multiple places throughout the property, so taking my dog out was super convenient.

Website says pet friendly, but when i get there with my pet, they said they don't accept pets and I could go to the Best Western. On day 2 of 3 day stay, housekeeping showed up and asked if we were checking out that day or the next, they should know. As a travel nurse that works nights, I was woken ip in the middle of my sleep.

Unfortunately not what we expected and NOT like the pictures show on their website. Was very disappointed with the smell of the entire hotel (including our room), spa was out of order, dirty room, uncomfortable bed, on and on… wouldn’t recommend this place.

Access to internet was difficult. Otherwise, we were very happy with the room, etc.

this property is very worn out and needs some tender loving care/maintenance with updates!! Wall paper peeling off the walls at the seams, DIRTY carpet (I did not want to walk on the carpert bare footed) dead cricket on the floor. Stains in the toilet that could easily been removed with a little elbow grease, bathroom door warped and would not close for privacy, I have been staying at this location for 6 years for business and the room has never looked this bad/worn. Definitely needs maintenance. Lobby and walk in area deceiving. I will not be staying here again, sorry

The value was ok. This used to be a nicer property. As time goes by, the rooms seem to get poorer. This time, the sink didn't drain, the ac unit wouldn't turn off, there was unsightly water damage in the ceiling, and the bedding smelled of bleach. Been staying there because of proximity to destination. Not sure I'll stay again.

Very nice
