I didn’t even get to sleep in the hotel due to the fact they had bed bugs

I want to give more stars before the Bed was SOO comfortable and it made up for some issues. When we got our room the toilet paper rack was empty and there was an empty box of Kleenex. The notepad was already written on too. Not too big of a deal. The walls were old and ripped and cracking. The ceiling in the bathroom was bubbled and a chunk fell on me while showering. I’m not sure if it’s normal but there wasn’t a fan in the bathroom either. Anyway these issues would give 3-4 stars because it didn’t affect me too much. Went to breakfast at 9 am and there was nothing left really. Eggs and a couple sausage Pattie’s. One muffin and two slices of bread. I went for orange juice and it ran clear. Went for milk and there was none. You could tell no one was checking in on the food. Then I hit the hottub after. There were no towels and only four people in the pool area. The dirty basket of towels was overflowing. And the pool had only been open for an hour or two. So I believe they weren’t taken care of by the night shift. I’m just frustration of the lack of attention by the staff to the necessities.

This hotel was disgusting. I understand buildings age. But the celling in the bathroom had mold above the tub. the wall paper was pealing at EVERY seam. The carpet was stinky and not vacuumed. I could go on and on. glad we only booked one night. NOT worth $170 - not even worth $70 a night.

The towels didn't dry; too much fabric softener. Did not clean the rooms. Asked and they said they only come once a week. Only had a top sheet and thin bedspread. Heater was noisy and the room smells musty.

We had our dog with us and I was surprised how clean the pet rooms were. They also had bags outside available to help keep dog area clean. Comfy pillows.

Both times went to the pool there was a lack of towels, one time being after a birthday party had left and no towels were in the pool room.

It was extremely dirty. Carpet was so gross. There was a toe nail on our carpet also. The chair in our room was disgusting looking. The bathroom lights had so much dust on them and they were yellow with one burnt out light. The main entrance looked nice and was decorated nicely. The front desk girl was very nice. Some of the workers were nice that we saw too. But we had 2 people a few rooms down from us and they were saying how their laptop and shoes were stolen and told us to be careful and watch our stuff. But they seemed to be like people I would watch out for. (They seemed like they were on drugs.) also someone was outside our window bumpin music at 2am. When we were leaving the whole hallway smelled like marijuana.The floor in that hallway felt like it was going to fall through soon too. Very lumpy and made loud noises when walking on it. Probably won’t be staying there again.

Nice enough but not 5* accomodations by any means. My room had a tiny tv and two holes in the wall where the previous TV was. The wallpaper in my room was peeling in several spots.

We really enjoyed the bar inside the hotel. The bartender was great and she made delicious drinks. Nice atmosphere and good way to relax. Really fun!

The hotel was practically empty so very quiet. They prepared a very nice large hot delicious breakfast each morning - not to be missed. This was the highlight of our stay the 2 mornings. Also had a decent gym. Friendly accommodating staff

This place has the best breakfast ever. Sure, it has the staples (Waffle machine) but the sausage is real and the eggs are homemade.......

I understand this property itself is older. However, there is no excuse for the condition of the hotel and the condition of the comfort of the room. It took almost 5 hours for the room to warm up and never warmed to the temperature it was set at. Possible cause could have been the curtains which were blocking the air flow and opening the curtains altogether would have let more cold air in the room. The mattress was OLD and not comfortable. The sheets on the bed were old and paper thin. The fitted sheet was too big for the bed mattress and pulled away from the nasty old mattress. The blanket (?) apparatus was inconvenient and was very old and sub standard. Paint pealing from the bathroom ceiling and looked to be a booger wiped on the light switch which I did not see until morning before I checked out. I understand older but this "Quality" is far from Quality and the rating of 8.2 at the front desk and your rating of 8 out of 10 is a joke. I could never recommend this hotel especially at the price I paid per night. Disgsuting!

This property appears old and well worn. The HVAC unit runs either full blast or off. And the bathroom sink stopper handle is broken.

Despite the listing on Hotels.com there are no smoking rooms, it is a non-smoking property. There is no room services vs. the limited room service on the listing. Front desk was unhelpful when called about the tv. The comfortor on the bed was stained and the kleenex box was empty. The carpet needed cleaning and the floor under the sink was dirty

I found the hotel very outdated! The windows were filthy, the whole outside of the building needs cleaning or refreshed! Some of the exterior doors did not lock at all! When we told staff, they said management has known about this for months and just don’t care about fixing it!

Staff friendly and efficient, room was clean. Rotted window frame, water damaged wallpaper, nasty looking shower head and old worn toilet seat. The hot tub was closed with no water in it and the pool was all chipped up and looked dirty and the exercise room is weird,broken machines and stinky. I would definitely not stay here again now would I recommend it to anyone.

Overall our stay was great! The room was clean, breakfast was hot, and it was quiet in the hotel even though it appeared to be booked full!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, as a matter of fact I highly recommend stopping in and seeing Dawn in the hotel bar while you are there! She was a great bartender, she made sure we were taken care of and even made some recommendations as far as places to eat in town and things to see! Unfortunately the bar wasn’t open on Saturday evening or we would have stopped back in!
I would definitely stay at Quality Inn and Suites Escanaba the next time we are in town! Thanks for everything!

Was a nice stay just wish it was a little cleaner. You could tell the bathroom was maybe half cleaned there was soap left from previous guests and mold on the ceiling the bathroom moisture is extreme.

August 6 room 313. Wallpaper pealing off the wall and we thought the ceiling was just dirty. It turns out it was covered in a large amount of mold. The window unit may have been malfunctioning and throwing humidity at the ceiling. Coughing my head off now. I wish I could share pictures.

The property has become a pit. We have stayed at this numerous times over the past five years as we have family in the area. It has become very rundown. Additionally there were few amenities for a room that cost over $192.00 the second. For example no iron nor board. When I asked the front desk they could not provide any.
The security is nonexistent. The room was very damp. I could go on but you get the idea.
All in all, a very bad experience. We will not stay there again.
I would drop them from your service as several other guests were also complaining.

Nice and quiet. A great place for couples to relax, swim laps in the pool, and get an early morning workout in the workout room. Excellent HOT breakfast, too.
