I tried checking in but I couldn’t get through front door and nobody was there to help. I had paid if full room and Trey I had to go to friend house for a night sleep, terrible!!

Read some reviews and thought for sure they would clean up for masters week. I believe this hotel should be closed by board of health. The lobby is filthy, smells of urine, black ceiling vents, stained carpets. I do compliment the folks who work here who were quite pleasant. But after my stay, read some articles, this hotel I believe houses homeless who were displaced during masters week, so they could capitalize on $800 per room ticketholders. I have tons of photos and could go into detail, but am still somewhat recovering from the worst conditions that I have ever stayed in. And unrelated to hotel condition is this the train that main tracks down the road. There is some union conflict so intentionally blows horn all the way through town in spite. And passes many times per night

My stay at Ramada was good not great. The trains were busy. There were not enough electrical outlet in the room to plug two phone chargers. The beds were semi comfortable.

Arrived at this property to find wallpaper peeling with a hole in wall, toilet running, bugs, vagrants outside digging through the dumpster. VERY DATED PROPERTY
Not altogether sure it’s safe. This place does NOT have a good reputation. Then there’s the train that goes by a block away, blowing the horn for about two minutes straight, every two hours, all night long. They failed to mention that in the description and are put out when you don’t want to stay somewhere where you’ll be woken up all night long. If you’re looking for a restful relaxing night sleep, this is not the place.
SKIP IT. We left an hour after arrival, Because of all these issues , still got charged for the full night! Shameful
Buyer beware!!

I think overall hotel needs update. No breakfast is available or any other meal. Room is ok, bathroom space is really small!

Mrs./Ms. Marisol at check-in was pleasant and warm during each interaction. The same can be said for the housekeeping staff. While we did not require the use of hospitality services during our stay, the staff ensured the room was perfect and stocked. We have ZERO complaints and lacked nothing during our stay. The hotel floor was spotless, there were no loud guests causing a disruption to other guests. While we wished we could have stayed longer, we are planning a return during the 1st qtr. 2024 and we will stay at this Ramada location again.

A cat was living in the lobby of the hotel. Our room was disgusting. The drapes were stained. The mirror was broken. The smoke detector cover was missing…absolutely nasty!

Hotel requires significant maintenance and remodeling.

Room was clean and presentable. Staff was very friendly. Facility is very dated and tired, but not offensive, and we would stay there again because the price was reflective of conditions.

Property was convenient and view was nice from our 10th floor window. Room had finky layout and inadequate plug ins to charge devices. Not in room fridge and no drink or ice machines.

The room was very clean. The lobby was really nice. And the people working at the front desk was awesome. We will say we will stay there again and recommend this hotel in Augusta Ga.

Marisol at the front desk was great. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Some of the channels on the TV werent working, that was my only negative but overall I enjoyed my stay. Will stay here again.

Old and outdated

My sister and I stayed here for a quick overnight visit to Augusta for a concert at the Miller Theater. It is a perfect location for this venue! Just around a block or less to walk to the venue which was nice and we didn't have to worry with parking. The front desk staff was so nice and friendly! Love the furry front desk helper! ;) They were so welcoming!
The hotel itself is dated. The decor and furniture could use updating. However, our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, so the outdated look of the hotel did not affect our stay.
I would recommend staying here, especially if you are visiting the Miller. It was perfectly fine for our overnight visit!

Older property but not bad. Great service. People butchering the place on Yelp should lighten up. You get what you pay for. Price was relatively low and our room was very clean with a river view as advertised.

This was the worst place I've ever stayed! The lobby smells musty, the room's bathroom is moldy, dirty, completely disgusting. The ceiling tile in the bathroom is moldy and gross. The maid service does not dust, I literally saw a layer of dust on the night tables. They only change the bed, that's it- nothing else more. Do not stay here unless you want to step back into the 1970s. The only thing redeemable quality of this place is that the front desk staff was kind and courteous.

It’s an older hotel that could use some renovations, but for the price I was able to have a clean, quiet place to sleep while in town on business.

Lots of roaches in the outside seating area. And a roach came out the sink in the bathroom

Everyone that work there was very friendly!

Since the property is older, it is in desperate need of a renovation in general. Upon checking in, was moved to a different room as I was unable to use access card to enter initial room. Limited amenities in room (few hangers, no microwave or fridge). Fortunately, the room was clean and there was hot water in the bathroom.

The hotel was so bad we left without staying the night. The room was uninhabitable. The AC disnt work and the room was a sweaty stinky sauna. The bathroom tiles were stained and falling, the bathroom had a makeshift countertop, the carpet was sticky and dirty, there were spiders in the bed, the sheets were stained and mold was everywhere. When we checked in a nice woman was using pen/paper to find an available room, in hindsight I dont know for sure she was an employee because there was no name tag and she wasnt there when we left an hour later. There was a man smoking crack out front by the entrance and he was goong in and out of the hotel.

Staff is friendly enough and the location of the hotel is nice. The hotel itself is very outdated and getting a little rundown. The breakfast is not free unlike almost every other hotel in the area.

The person who checked us in was very nice and friendly.

The lady at the front desk was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again

I have never received a quicker or more pleasant check-in. When I left very early the next morning, the same woman walked me to my car outside as it was still dark and she wanted to make sure that I was safe. Five Star Service!

The staff was great but the hotel needs upgrading.

If you're into hotels with bad service, outdated rooms and bathrooms and the smell of wet cigarettes you're gonna love this place!

Lobby area was very nice, as was the room we had. No fridges in the rooms, even the suites. A microwave for the floor, few ice machines, one working drink vending machine, no food services on weekends. Staff was wonderful and helpful, easy parking. Walking distance to restaurants.

It's a little dated with décor, but if you need a cheap room close to downtown where you're walking distance to the action, this is a good spot. Just know that the hotel has not had an upgrade in about three decades. The staff has always been friendly.

We got a room with a great view. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We booked this hotel as a night stop on a roadtrip and it did what we needed it to do. Clean comfortable bed in a good location, close to the riverfront and restaurants, etc. Marisol on reception greeted us warmly and was very friendly and helpful. Would probably stay here again if visiting Augusta.

Marisol, who was working the front desk when we
Checked in was phenomenal during our checkin. We had a 36 ft motor home to park and she was very helpful and reassuring that it would be safe !

I’m about to stop using Hotels.com bc the last few hotels I have booked have been sketchy at best. These hotels look great on the website but in actuality, they are far from great. The lobby and hallways had an unpleasant odor. The carpets looks dingy and dirty. There was food on the floor of the elevator and a giant fan blowing in the floor in the lobby. I hesitate to guess why that was being used. As a single female traveler, I search for safe areas to stay. I did not feel safe at this spot. I was approached twice by homeless men who spoke to me and cursed me for not speaking back. The parking was very limited. All spots were taken on the side of the hotel. My option was to park in the back and walk around to the side or front entrance. In the dark, that is not a comfortable situation especially alone. While my room was large and nicely laid out with 2 large windows, the river view, as stated online, was missing. The couch was large and comfortable but I was hesitant to sit on it bc it didn’t look clean. The carpet had pulled up at the entrance to the bathroom with exposed nails which I stepped on with bare feet a couple of times. There were 5 lamps in the room. Only 2 had working bulbs. I had to move lamps around in order to have a lamp next to the bed. The curtains above the AC unit were clearly stained in a brownish color.

I can't say this is unique to the Ramada, I was suprised that the entire town of Augusta seemed run down. The desk staff was very nice. I literally saw no one else and Broad street downtown was dead. We went to dinner at Mellow Mushroom which was one of the only places besides a small festival with people around. Our waitress told us she had a knife pulled on her at 2 pm Sunday on the sidewalk dining and the same man returned while we were on the patio and the police never came to help her then, nor at 2 pm when she originally called. We did not feel safe at all after that and thought that Broad street felt like a ghost town even early evening when we arrived. I literally saw no one else in the hotel either. It was very odd. Sad bc would be a cute little town otherwise.

We read a few negative reviews before booking but decided that we would give it a chance due to the great bargain it was.
It is an old property, sure. Understand that but note that the bargain price leaves more funds to shop, see the sights and dine.
There is an old school charm about the place .Its is on Broad and in walking distance to some nice eating spots.
Manager Marisol is a HOSPITALITY PRO!!! House staff Maya. was pleasant and polite.
