Amazing view of the beach. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Very clean.
Staff very kind, especially Harley.

Was a wonderful stay with a great location. Lovely staff and kids loved the pool. The only real down side was having no parking.

Hotel staff were great. Room was okay however the room backed out at the rear of the hotel to the loudest noisy room for both nights of my stay which led to poor sleep both times.
Out of the control of the hotel staff but sadly will put me off staying there next time.

Our room was spacious, with a sea view and the hotel is situated about 200m to the west of Brighton pier.
Visitors to Brighton should be aware that car parking is relatively expensive. The nearest car park to The Queens Hotel is The Lanes car park, where rates are from £5.10 per hour up to about £38 for a 24 hr stay. An alternative is to park on Marine Parade, or Madeira Drive (sea front) where the rates go from 5.10 per hr to £22.70 for 11 hrs, from 9am until 8pm, with free overnight parking, but you would be best served by downloading their app, which creates a slight saving, rather than the lengthy process of setting up an account by phone!

Booked for one night visit in Brighton. Greeted very warmly by Dom who let us checkin earlier than stated and kindly assigned a room with sea views. Road is quite busy so noise could be an issue for some but as it was a week night it did not bother us. Pool is a huge bonus and again staff very friendly. Room was a little dated as other reviews have mentioned but hotel has character and is right on the seafront so we were very happy overall. Would definitely stay here again.

It's an old hotel with a good view of the Brighton beach if you pay extra. Our stay was average and maybe not worth the price we paid for.
Pros: >conveniently situated close to the pier.
>A good amount of nearby restaurants
>Pool, sauna, gym and steam room as an added amenity is a plus
Cons: >paid extra to get the seaside view. windows were dirty and some parts are falling apart (that's extra £40/night)
>It wasn't mentioned or clarified during check-in when we were offered "an upgrade" for our room that there were extra stairs on our floor with no ramp or access to lift from our side (this would be challenging if you bring either heavy luggages or pushchair.
>some wires are exposed in the heater next to the sink.
>power plugs placed low and with no safety switch and are not strategically planned well.
Overall, the hotel is average, only because the amenities and location were good.

Staff very helpful and approachable. Room upgrade was appreciated, nice view of the sea. Good choice for breakfast. Indoor decor ok but outside is in need of attention.

The hotel is well-situated close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is fairly clean and our room was spacious for 2 adults and 1 teenager. The beds were comfortable. Overall, a good stay! The only ‘issue’ would be the close proximity to night life. If you’re looking for a quiet place or have small children who are easily woken up, this hotel (location) may not be for you! Parking was also a challenge - difficult to find and VERY expensive (but is the same for the general area of Brighton). The hotel offered a nice buffet breakfast that seemed a bit pricey, but was comparable to other local restaurants and had a better selection of food and drinks for everyone. A lovely English seaside experience!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. After a stressful day we had to make a last minute booking and it ended up being better than the original plan. We would definitely stay again. The rooms were so spacious and comfy, it’s in a convient location and you feel safe . Thank you :)

I stayed at the Queen's hotel with 2 friends on Saturday night. We wanted somewhere head the beach and town centre and this hotel was both of these. The staff are excellent; very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was good, just a few things that could be amended like the broken chandelier and better windows to block out the noise from the kebab house down below. The sauna was great and the pool, albeit a bit small you can still get some swimming in. We had a lovely breakfast too. Really great location and fab staff. Would definitely stay again.

I was in 217 backing on to Platinum lace nightclub. The noise from the club kept me awake from 0130 to 0400. Very loud music and lots of people shouting in the street - smoking. It was continuous.
Really awful and would not stay again unless guaranteed a sea view well away from the nightclub.
Apart from that my room was nice, very spacious. Rather cold though as only one tiny radiator.

Staff was very helpful with advice on taxis, storing luggage, etc. We opted for the breakfast included in the room price and I highly recommend it! It was a fresh and delicious classic English brekkie! We hope to return to Brighton some day and would definitely stay at the Queens Hotel!

Hotel is in prime location and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only issue I had was it got very cold in the night and there was no heating on in the room. The hotel look is also quite dated but over all a good stay.

Receiving an upgrade on arrival was such a surprise and was delightful! The suite was spacious, spotless and comfortable. The staff including the night porter at 3AM were super friendly and helpful. Facilities were outstanding.

Room is all fine, relatively large, comfortable, for the price and location it's very good. The hotel sends a message saying check-in may be later than 3pm, no later than 4pm, but only after you've booked/paid. This was my experience, unfortunately I had to come back to the desk after 4pm after waiting in the restaurant for 40+ mins; the reception staff did not come to notify me, as they said they would, when a room was ready. I'd prefer an accurate estimate of check-in time so I don't arrive 'early' and have to wait aimlessly.
This is not the Grand and my expectations are adjusted accordingly, but maybe offer guests a simple free cup of tea or coffee if their room is an hour overdue for check-in. There is no reciprocal "check out is between 11-12" of course...

Wow, you can't turn the radiators off in here, prepare to be HOT HOT HOT baby! I love what they've done with the spa though, that is lovely.

Awful hotel! Awful Service! Won’t ever stay there again.
It was freezing cold in my room, the receptionist told me the heating is only on from 7pm-10pm. I asked for a portable heater they said no, I asked for another room he said no. I’m saying to everyone NO don’t stay here!!!!!

The whole experience was excellent. From check in to check out, all the staff were friendly, polite & professional, across reception with a warm greeting, dinning & service staff.
The Queen's is in an ideal position beside the sea & Lanes. Cosy, with a very pleasant atmosphere.
