Very comfortable stay. Friendly staff, good breakfast, high quality linens, comfortable bed, easy check in and out. Good location, short walk to train station and easy walk to centre. Quiet area at night, felt safe. Would return.

Great location for town and the staff were excellent and very friendly đź‘Ś

The hotel was fine, but I forgot some things in the room which were never "recovered," meaning that whomever entered the room after I left, decided to keep my stuff. I was very disappointed with that. If you are sure you won't forget stuff, it's a fine place.

Great stay for one night. Breakfast was very nice.

Really nice hotel. We booked this last-minute and were very pleased with the staff, service, and property.

It is currently a construction site and should not be open to guests. The staff are extremely rude.

Nice hotel
One major issue. Construction work everywhere! Water is off during the day. Wish they would have said something before going to the bathroom! Also, no onsite parking. None. Down the street you can go to a parking garage.

Good location for railway station and city centre, unfortunately covered in scaffolding and builders started drilling at 7.30am!!! Room very basic & tired looking, safe didn’t work and although we were provided with a kettle, there was no water, tea/coffee, milk provided when we asked at reception, told our room rate didn’t include it, so be warned what we consider to be provided as standard in U.K. is certainly not in Germany.

The entire area around the hotel is under construction. Nearly impossible to navigate because roads are randomly closed, just one-way, reopened/closed again. Very confusing. Eventually found the parking garage and everything was great from there!

Clean small room, nice breakfast but unfriendly staff

REception was very friendly, room spacious and nice, but bathroom could get a refurbishment. at night we could hear noise from the street. All in all good value for money

Stayed here many times and they have upgraded rooms over the years. Bathroom was very modern. Close to Hauptbahnhof, close to city center. Always a pleasure!

Great value and very helpful staff, amazing breakfast but the hotel condition was a little 'worn'

We liked the space we had for 3 adults in the family room - exactly as advertised in the photos. Housekeeping was excellent in cleaning the room. Staff are friendly & efficient. There was also a useful large elevator. Proximal to the train station and a convenient walk to the old town.

very nice room, friendly and helpful service and convenient location. Excellent breakfast.

Friendly and attentive personnel, which welcomes you to the property.
If you are booking single room, most possibly you will get a single room with tiny bed and smaller room. Hotel has a great location, but it is a little bit outdated, even there were refreshed some of amenities.
breakfast was fine, but nothing exciting.

Very close to the train station, in front of a park. Walking distance to the center.

The hotel is very near the train station. Which was convenient for us. It is old but well cared for. Couple in the next room argued very loudly off & on all night. Could hear outside noise as well even though we were on the 6th floor. Breakfast was an extra 12 Euro and was very good.

Good location and easy to get to from Mainz HBF.

Clean and quiet two blocks from the train station in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Good breakfast with eggs and sausage. I had a single room, which was small but comfortable in good repair.

We loved this place. The staff were gracious and helpful and our room had all the amenities. We had a nice quiet 2nd floor room with a balcony overlooking a park. Also, best breakfast we’ve had in 2 months of bicycling down the Rhine!

Location is very good if you arrive by train. But the room seemed very expensive for what I received. It had the odor of being very old and a slight chemical smell. Perhaps it is time to change the carpet and curtains. Bath was clean and fine. Good breakfast buffet. Old fashioned locks with keys that made lots of noise unlocking and locking. Noisy room next to service elevator.

We really enjoyed our Springtime stay at Advena Europa Hotel. The staff is great! Mr. Eurigan, the manager, is very friendly and wants each guest to have the best experience. Mr Sven Fisher helped us a lot with local events and bus transportation around Mainz. Rooms are clean and nicely sized, with a window for fresh air and very comfortable beds. The daily breakfast is robust and has plenty of variety. This hotel is a gem!!

Pleasant hotel staff with a great breakfast. Twerrific location
Terrific location close to the train station and a short walk to the Rhine River. The centralized location makes the entire city accessible by foot.

I wanted to be close to the rail station so as to take an early morning train to Frankfurt airport. It was a nice enough hotel, although I thought it overpriced. The desk personnel were helpful.

The hotel is nicely located, close to train station and reasonably close to the historic center. Perfect for the night before catching a morning flight back to the US. The hotel is well maintained, rooms are clean. Breakfast was included in the room price and was great! The only problem with the hotel is that the room is hot and if I open the window, it gets too loud. In all fairness, it is a summertime problem common in many train-station area hotels throughout Europe. A fan would have solved the problem. I'm sure in wintertime it is a perfect hotel.

The hotel was a convenient walk from Mainz Hbf station, and located a few blocks outside of the older part of the city. Room and hotel were clean, though furniture, carpet and fixtures were older and a bit worn. Staff was friendly, helped us with English maps and directions. Breakfast was excellent. Did not use the restaurant for dinner, but they served some nice wines at the bar.

Comfortable, conveniently close to rail station, reasonably priced.
