It was ok. Rooms are very outdated and had peeling paint on the doors. Carpet is very old looking. Semi-clean. Not really impressed. The gal at the front desk however was very friendly and helpful...

Our room had not been cleaned and was not ready when we checked in at 7pm. They were able to clean it before we returned from dinner at 9pm.
Breakfast items were not replenished frequently, so we missed eggs most days. Same with coffee.
Cleaning service of the room was not offered at all over 3 night stay.
Bed was comfortable, hotel was pretty quiet even though there were two traveling sports teams.

Very clean but carpet is old. Friendly staff. Breakfast iffy. Would be nice to have pool indoors. Sketchy neighborhood

Compared to most $100/night rooms, La Quinta was very good because it had engineered hardwood floors and it was very clean. Otherwise, the common areas were in need of updating. The breakfast was poor.....though there was hot items like liquid eggs and sausage (may as well have come with a salt shaker as they were soooo salty) and pancakes.....fruit selection was terrible....overall the breakfast environment was unapetizing. So, don't stay here for the breakfast....otherwise, a good choice.

The hotel was average but not somewherre Id stay again for the price. It is in need of updating and cleaning . Our room had the deadbolt broken off the door frame.... not comforting

They put us in the room right next to the elevator. It was loud all night, and when brought up to the staff they just replied with"yeah thats how that room is"

Staff at check in was great staff in the morning are rude as heck. Other than that it was a good stay

The room was not clean and the front desk took far too much time to check us in. I have problems with the Pet charge. They put you in a room that wasn’t clean that is meant for pets and charge you $25.00 for no extra work for the cleaner

Nice property, clean, close to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was great, good selection of hot foods...Rebooked for another trip in February 2024.

Our one night stay was good. The people offered great service and the place was fairly clean. Bed was extremely comfortable and it was great to have a fridge and microwave in the room.

Staff was very helpful and I really appreciated that.

For the money we spent we expected better. Hall ways were poorly kept. Room was ok but nothing special. I seldom stay in LaQuinta's cause the price is usually more than I want to spend for a night's stay. This experience was far below my expectation.

Got in late. Needed to sleep up to check out. House keeping ignored the do not disturb sign.

Didn't get checked in till after 6pm and there was no room cleaning at all, no new towels or garbage emptied.

The room we were given was right next to the elevator and there were other rooms available. This room should not be given until all other rooms are booked - it was sooo noisy! The hotel is older and not typical Wyndham quality, we were very disappointed. The breakfast food was poor, no bananas, terrible eggs.

The pictures that we saw online of this property were pretty deceiving. The first problem with the property is that it’s on a one-way, so makes it a little inconvenient to reach. When we arrived to the property, the parking lot was jampacked and the available parking spaces were torn up like they were working on the ground or like they had never been completed? More of a gravel. This made it a little tough to find parking space. The property around the hotel was kind of dirty and entering the building it looked dirty as well. Our room was a king room that we upgraded from a double clean four. But it was really shabby. The shades in the room were rickety. The lamps were bent, and overall nothing special for what we paid. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, the Days Inn that we stayed in prior to this one was much better in my opinion and also cheaper.

It was noisy with the busy road next to it with limited incress and egress.

After having a terrible experience with another hotel a block away, Expedia was able to relocate my family to La Quinta and we couldn't have been happier. Very friendly staff, well lit common rooms and hallways, heated outdoor pool and decent hot breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Easy to get downtown Helena. The check in was terrible. The staff did not have the rooms cleaned and ready at 5 pm and there was a long line to check in. We were lucky and had only two people in front of us and it still took a half hour to check in. After check in everything was fine. Breakfast was good and we spent two nights and our room was cleaned just fine for the second night.

dirty, smelled like vinegar was used to clean, my bed sheets were awkwardly upside down which made me think they hadn’t been properly washed just turned over.

Two rooms.. over $800 in total. Never again.

Pictures online didn’t look anything like our dingy room. Air conditioner super noisy. Terrible shower, toilet seat shifted and loose. Some alarm going off at 6 am in the hall. I should have booked a similar hotel for cheaper had I known the pictures online don’t look anything like the gross, faded room we got.

Location is convenient to the freeway. Easy drive to downtown and restaurants.

Great place to stay after driving from Glaciers National Park, a quiet town in the Capital, right off the expressway, McDonald and Burger King near the hotel and they stay open late after midnight. Check in and check out was simple with no hassle, their breakfast is a good way to start if your day. They have a pool, BBQ Grill and a fire place to smoke and make s’mores. Plenty of parking. Nice wall painting . All about Montana landmarks. Basic hotel scenery. Regular outlets , a 24hrs snack shop. Great and friendly staff. My bed was soft and comfy, prepared well. I slept very good , well rested, fully charged the next day. A lot of tv channels . The price is reasonable for July 4th weekend compare to other hotels. I will definitely go back when I’m in town again.

Friendly staff but hotel stay was overpriced for conditions.

Property located on main thoroughfare so very noisy.

Utility power station outside our window was quite the eye sore. Our mattresses were definitely old (lumps, bumps & caved in) and the TV had a blue line down the middle of the screen. You could hear EVERYTHING outside the door.
Staff was polite and breakfast was good.

It’s a good hotel and delivers what you would expect. Was it a hotel that the kid from Home Alone would stay in when he had his Dads credit card? No, but Helena isn’t New York City. Honestly, if that’s your expectation you’re not considering LaQuinta anyway and if you book and complain, that’s on you. However, it’s a great hotel. Traveling for business or whatever, it’s a good stay. It’s a LaQuinta that lives up to the billing. Book here and don’t worry.

Floor in my room needed to be vacuumed and washed but other than that was stY was great.
