The motel is great for the price. The breakfast variety and freshness are quite good. Check in and check out were easy and efficient. The maids did a good job of taking care of the room. My only minor complaints were first, there was a strong disinfectant-type smell in the room when I arrived that took about a day to completely dissipate, and second, I would have appreciated a selection of different softness pillows. The four pillows on the bed were all identical.

It is a nice hotel quite and spacious very clean but no worker when we checked in, it was wierd, they have no water and the vending machine needs cash only breakfast was nothing really but few pastries but it’s okay. Hotel overall is nice and relaxing just seems sad with no employees to greet you when you check in.

The Hotel is a wonderful location, the staff was friendly, and the facility seemed clean. To say the bed was firm, would be an understatement. I didn't know beds that firm existed! The complementary toiletries left little to be desired, and there could have been a bit more in terms of bedding, pillows and towels.

Place was dirty, loud, toilet didn’t work. The blankets were super itchy. Heater in the room was super loud. Door didn’t close all the way so let a ton of light in

It was very clean. Front desk last was very sweet and she let me know about breakfast. I will definitely come back in the near future .

I have a sensitive sense of smell to fabric softeners Cleaning chemicals. I did react to the bed spread scent so I removed it from the bed and placed it across the room. I was able to sleep till 6:15 am. All in all I had a great stay after an emotional day with family. I will definitely come back 😊

good as a budget option, free parking and free underwhelming breakfast but that’s about it. our room was dirty upon arrival so that had to be sorted out, the receptionist didn’t care whether we lived or died which is fair in a place like this. but a better customer service wouldn’t hurt. all in all i wouldn’t return here unless i’m heavily on a budget.

The facility feels a little run down and could use some modernization. It's i a very quiet area so sleep was easy to achieve. It was a fine place to stay for the night before a flight.

Was given a handicap room even though I didn't request one. Got ready to take a shower in the morning and the hand held wand fell apart with water going everywhere. It was obvious that it been this way for awhile

The beds are pretty hard, uncomfortable and seem like they're at least a decade old. The most annoying part was that the air unit in room 104 started making a fairly loud and consistent knocking at around 4:30 a.m. and didn't stop even after I unplugged it.

Good value. Rooms and property are well kept and clean. Only a couple concerns. Housekeeping didn't refresh soap or shampoo in a 4 night stay. Mattresses, pillows, and towels desperately need a refresh. Good location and a good value. Despite the minor negatives, we'd stay there again.

Very friendly staff, they were very understanding and accommodating when a traffic accident caused a last-minute change in itinerary. The room was bigger than I anticipated. Most welcome was a full-size desk. Not only for business travelers, but also for kiddos to spread out their toys. The property is very close to the "main drag" of Des Moines Marina District, where dining options are plentiful, but is located one street over so very little traffic noise.

Surprising! Needed a quick overnight near the airport, this place is much better than I thought! Clean, happy staff- definitely reasonably priced. Will always stay here when needed.

My stay at Marina Inn was pleasant and quiet. I liked the laminate flooring. Everything worked properly and the bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast items were sufficient to start the day. I would stay there again if returning to the area.

We stayed at this property to catch a few hours nap before checking into another hotel. The area around the property is pleasant. The room was comfortable enough and very clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and was sufficient for a nice nap.
