Incredibly well located hotel, nice breakfast with the nicest view. Good service, comfortable beds. A bit noisy as it above a main road (it has sound canceling windows but its still noisy) other than that, great hotel.

Location is unbeatable 10min walk to train station Less than 10min to landmarks and tourist area Surrounded by great restaurants and shopping The view is great from the rooms but if you are a light sleeper I suggest earplugs as the cars on the street side a bit loud. Excellent choice in stay in Athens

Wow! This was our last hotel at the end of a 5 month trip, and we saved the best hotel till last. We had a room on the 6th floor looking out over the temple of zeus. It was fabulous, lying in bed with a cup of tea watching the sun come up over the ruins is simply incredible. The hotel itself is very good ,excellent breakfast, good well maintained rooms hotel, very friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend coming to athens in January/february - cold crisp days, no queues and easy reservations at the best restaurants.

The staff were AMAZING. The food at the rooftop bar will make you struggle to want to eat anywhere else. The view of the Acropolis is absolutely breathtaking. 10/10 would recommend staying here. I will every time I travel here again.

Hotel is close to Acropolis. Amazing view of Acropolis from rooftop. Lots of stores and restaurant around it. Walking distance to most of the attractions. Staff are super nice and hospitable.

Very nice hotel for a good price. The service at the hotel is top notch and the breakfast is awesome. Would stay at Athens Gate if I ever come back. Views of the Acropolis and Temple of Zeus from the hotel is a major highlight.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The location, with its stunning view of the Parthenon, proximity to Plaka, and access to tourist attractions, was exceptional. The breakfast was excellent. The staff, incredibly friendly and professional, went above and beyond. When I had to leave at 3 AM and would miss breakfast, the lady at the desk offered to have it ready before my departure, showcasing great customer service. I highly recommend this place.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. The view was spectacular. We got the rooms on the 7th floor and the room had a view of the Acropolis. We had a large terrace where we could gather in the evening and night and view the Parthenon. The restaurant on the 8th floor was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the main attractions.

The Athens Gate Hotel was great for location. The room was nice, staff was friendly, and things were around for food, night life, and attractions. I’d recommend this place over and over. Food in the restaurant was AMAZING and drinks were strong. Try the Long Island and Shrimp Pasta! View of the Acropolis is spectacular from the restaurant.

Excellent hotel service from all staff. Conveniently located for tourists - near bus stop for hop on hop off bus. Lots of eating places just around the corner. Had beautiful views from the dining room. Room was on 3rd level so a bit noisy from traffic but this was not bothering me. Lost my phone in the hotel communal areas one evening. 0ne housekeeper kindly handed it to reception the following morning.

The hotel is really good and the staff is friendly, the view from the restaurant is wonderful, you can see the Acropolis and the Zeus Temple. Only bad note is that rooms (I was on the 2nd floor) are really noisy during the night due to the traffic in the street in front of the hotel.

The hotel is fine. Breakfast was very good. Staff was amazing. Room clean. Just the AC was not on and it was very hot in the room at night to sleep comfortable. The noise in the street is high and it can be heard in the room not good. Bathrooms are very small and tight. The area around the hotel is very busy with traffic. Beds are super comfortable though.
