In desperate need of repairs and remodeling. Towel rack almost falling of the wall could see into hallway from side of front door from large gap. Large water stain on ceiling. Paint peeling in bathroom.

The hotel was very run down. Parts of the ceiling plaster had fallen down, leaving bare drywall, as well as portions of the wall. Other parts of the walls had dark stains on them. The HVAC system in the room was very dirty. The shower curtain rod was falling off, leaving the curtain to slowly accordian back to the center, allowing water to splash onto the floor, making it slippery. The sink and mirror looked like they were brand new and very modern, though. The refrigerator in the room was propped up on a very dirty stand, making it wobble, and you couldnt control the temperature in it at all, so when i came back after work, my sodas had frozen and expanded.

Location is convenient, staff is friendly, rooms are fine but have definitely seen better days. I wouldn't pay normal prices, but for a cheap place to stay while commuting to the area in the off season, it's fine. Wifi works well and plenty of parking.

Hotel is secluded yet close to all everything. Front desk personnel were excellent. Rooms were clean but definitely well used. It was an excellent value when I booked whic for a short business trip was all I needed.

I would recommend for other customers to get the room with the jucuzzie that was the best part of the stay was sitting in the hot jucuzzie vibing.

The hotel is old and rooms are a little worn. But comfortable bed and great jacuzzi tub with a handicapped entrance if needed! The staff were wonderful! Made us feel comfortable and cared about!! The breakfast area was clean with just enough options. No hot foods except a waffle maker but the juice, coffee, cereal, yogurt, fruit and pastries were more than enough! We will definitely come back to charming Solomon’s Island and the Quality Inn!

I loved the jacuzzi in my bedroom! So relaxing and fun. Bedroom and tub were very clean as well. I also loved the breakfast - it was a pleasant surprise to see waffles available!

This Hotel is terrible, its outdated, musty and way overpriced. The manager had her 4 children in the lobby bikering and making way to much noice for a place of buisness. We in fact never even slept in the hotel opting to go down the road to a more up to date facitly.

This is always a nice option. It’s by the water. It’s in a quiet area away from a lot of traffic. There was there was a bit of mold in the ac unit vent properly from the moist air from the water. And it could be updated a bit. But all in all it’s not a bad spot for the price. It’s a good deal. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the room seemed clean enough. We’ve stayed here a few times and I’m sure this won’t be the last visit,

The room was horrible. The sheets had food crumbs in them and a stain on the comforter which is disgusting that they werent changed from whoever slept in them last. The tissue box in the bathroom was opened and almost empty, 1 would think a fresh unopened box would be there for sanitary reasons. The mini fridge made loud clicking noises all night making it hard to fall asleep. The battery in the tv remote was dead making it unable to be used. The bathroom light bulb was out. The handle for the sink faucet was broken. Id expect a room like this to come out of in a run down trash motel in a bad area.
I will never come back and will never suggest to anyone to go there.

The rooms had the worst smell, mold mildew permeated throughout the hotel I’m sure! While the hotel is located in a beautiful location the building needs to be torn down and a new one be built in it’s place!

An older property that has many hard miles behind it. Saying that given the rate charged I was overall happy. Despite showing wear it was clean and comfortable. In a good, safe neighborhood.

Friendly people. A little dusty on some surfaces. Outlet plates, etc. My non-smoking room smelled that lots of smoking was allowed prior to my stay. Smell was in carport curtains furniture. Not the bed linens though. Bed was clean and so was bathroom.

The rooms need extensive renovation. The curtains and bedspread were ripped. The furniture was old. The free breakfast consisted of a waffle maker, yogurt, and coffee that tasted awful. One positive- the people at the front desk were very pleasant and professional.

Weve stayed here before (When other local places were filled). The area is rich in history, and we love the access to the marine enviroment. However, the rooms are dated, with limited views, the a/c was working but needed serious cleaning, and there are no elevators. As were older, likely will pass next time.

Came for a concert at the Valvwrt Museum an it was super convenient...less than a 2 minute walk! Hotel is run down and needs updates and repairs, but staff is nice and trying their best.

The hotel is in a great location. It was very quiet and the marina and water is visible from the room. The ceiling in our room had experienced water damage and we could see that the roof had been replaced in the last few years, but the ceiling has not been properly repaired. We were disappointed with the continental breakfast. There was no fresh fruit, no cooked breakfast foods other than hardboiled eggs and you could make waffles if you wanted, which we didn't. Nothing was really wrong with anything, their idea of breakfast is just different than what I've been used to.

Left a lot to be desired. I initially was provided a room that was already occupied. The room I stayed in has a peeling tub and a horrible mattress. There were kids in the room next to me that stayed awake all night crying. The front desk receptionist was pleasant and very accommodating despite the overall management and condition of the room.

Check in for the room was at 3pm. We showed up at 3:10 and the room was not ready. We weren't able to check in until after 3:45. The ceiling in our room had severe water damage and the room smelled like mildew. The staff was very friendly.

What a shame, great location but when you enter the room you say wow did I make a mistake. It’s a dump. Smells like mildew and smoke. The bed feels like a child bed you buy in a parking lot tent sale. They apparently tried to paint their showers? Paint was flaking off while I was showering… I booked 4 nights but I canceled after the first night
