A very small, dark room with only a window to an internal space. No tea or coffee making facilities. Tiny TV with limited channels. For a weekend rate of 400 Euros per night it is very expensive for what you get.

Reception staff were helpful and friendly. If you stay at this hotel, be aware that one portion of the hotel, there are 15 marble steps that you have to haul your luggage up to get to the elevator on Floor zero. We were not aware of this and no offer of a bell hop. The other part of the hotel has elevators at reception level, so hope you can get a room on that side! Also no elevator down to the breakfast buffet so we saw people carrying strollers down and up. The room was lovely and clean. The hotel was very close to the Metro, a lovely plaza with many restaurants and shopping. The buffet had a wide variety of breakfast and lunch food. Coffee machine coffee was ok, not great. Lobby is nicely decorated, great bathroom and comfortable seating. We felt it was worth the price.

Never go again to this hotel. Expensive, unfriendly staff. Pay a little bit more go to a proper hotel.... When you are paying not so much (230euros) in an expensive city in a very old hotel you minimum expect good service. Service here is NOT good

Great hotel in city center.

The hotel was everything we expected: efficient and pleasant staff, clean and modern facilities and all the main things we needed working as we wanted. Good location very close to a Metro station but nevertheless quiet. Pleasant room with comfortable beds. Excellent walk-in shower. Minor gripes: No facial tissues or coffee-making facilities are provided and the hairdryer was difficult to operate. Breakfast (the only meal we had at the hotel) was fine for the price.

The only reason why I gave 4 starts in the condition is only because the bed mattress was extremely hard like sleeping on top of a board.

This ia a first rate hotel, with effective and attentive staff. Also the breakfast spread is first rate. I'll be checking in again in about a month.

Lovely handy location, close to metro and walkable to city centre. Good area for food. Clean and comfortable room. Not too soundproof, but doesn't matter for short stays.

Great property so close to the subway (Alonso Martinez stop) and walking distance to Plaza Colón, Chueca, Malasaña...

Great location and hotel is lovely

The reception and/or management staff were very rude, impolite and unwilling to help. This is the first hotel with such a bad experience in my travels for the last 50 years of personal, leisure and business travel.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful and kind. The location is great! Close to the metro station and easy access to main streets.

This location was a short walk to the center of Madrid and a cross from the metro. Very convenient a cross there's a market store and restaurant where we would enjoy our morning breakfast. I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Madrid and the hotel is amazing. I would rent there again. Trip dated from 4/30 to 5/5/2023.

Wonderful place to stay!!!

The room is very clean. The cleaning staff did a good job every day. The breakfast is adequate. The staff is nice. However, I selected this hotel because the listing shows it has laundry facility ( different from laundry service), and hence is family friendly. They do NOT have a laundry facility for guests to use. They only have laundry service which costs 3-7 euros for each piece of garment. The listing is not accurate and is misleading.

Really quiet hotel I love that the Train station is right in front of it for easy access to any part of MADRID

Rooms are spacious Location is next to metro station. Cons - Receptionist at check inn was rude and uninterested in our questions. Breakfast sitting area is small Continent breakfast can be improved with more items

Muy bien ubicado. La atención muy buena tuvimos un problema con el a/c fue resuelto inmediato!! El desayuno buffet muy bueno bastante completo y súper precio. El cuarto estaba todo en perfecto estado recién remodelado. Muy buena opción para quedarse. La próxima vez me volvería a quedar
