Our room door wouldn’t close. We had security come by and tell us for our safety we needed to keep it closed when we showed her she just shrugged and walked off.

I loved that the resort was smaller and we felt very safe and welcome.

I loved the jetted tub in my suite and the snorkeling was amazing too!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The property was clean and well kept. We enjoyed that you could use the sister property in Playa Del Carmen as well!

Great as usual, however it would be nice if the menu changed at the restaurants or if they would bring back the evening food buffet. Wait times for dinner were long.

Staff at this resort is just phenomenal. There's nothing they won't do to make your stay more enjoyable. Hotel is not very large means you don't have to walk very far from pool to the restaurant or to your room. Ocean is just amazing, no, there is no natural sand beach, you go into the water from either the pier or stone steps but the water is the most amazing and crystal clear with ton of colorful ocean life right where you enter! Definitely going back again!

Nice small hotel with great staff, service, food and views.
One thing that it could make it better is some outside sitting area.

The resort is great but the staff could definitely do a better job given the cost per night. When we arrived, we got our room only at 3:15 PM, and that is after reminding the staff. The Excursion planners were pretty disappointing too, they were more of a sales people for the excursion companies that were not interested in helping with anything outside of what they had to sell, which was very limited. The lines for dinner were very long, up to 2 hours, with some people getting tables without getting into the line, bypassing the common people. The staff was not willing to provide any comments on the waiting times. On the other hand the food was great and the entertainment was better than usual for all inclusive resorts in Mexico.

Poor management. Not responsive to billing related issues.
The employees are super friendly. Low quality food.

I had VIP access and had highest level (black band) yet there were no additional perks or benefits that were available for me. The hotel wasn’t as it was expected. There were few restaurant options with very long wait times. The pool would be closed by 7 pm which was terrible as we couldn’t use the pool if we came back from some day time activities.
The hotel didn’t have proper beach which was disappointing.
Though I had vip access I didn’t get any special amenities

Property overall is nice . Indian restaurant ‘ Agra’ the food was pathetic and most of the food had finished by 9:30 pm , although the restaurant was open till 11 PM, not done in ‘ All inclusive ‘ restuarant. Very few options for Vegetarians. Wish they know what Indian cuisine is and can match up to the standards or rather exceed it.
Momo was nice. The Italian restaurant was good too.. The Mexican wasn’t great…

The staff are very friendly and helpful, foods quality are good, Cozumel is very safe place for traveling. The problems are the hotel is too small, the did over register days near to Christmas and the hotel was over crowded. The restaurant were not able to give service to hundreds of people and the chaos happened as we were expecting. Totally we had a good experience with family.

This is a nice but dated resort. Everything is okay but nothing is great.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Cozumel Palace. The staff is amazing, the property is clean and well maintained. The choices and quality of food is more then we could have hoped for. Rooms are comfortable and beautiful. We will return.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Cozumel Palace. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view and was very spacious. We enjoyed the food especially the chef dinner overlooking the sea. Centrally located to shopping and the airport. We even snorkeled right off the property and saw 2 rays and lots of fish.

This was our 5th stay at Cozumel Palace. This was the first poor experience that we have had here, however it is probably the new normal for this resort. It’s getting older and needs lots of updates. We reserved the suite with kids this time and were disappointed that it was far from the lobby and down a stinky hallway that you couldn’t get to from main lobby area. Kinda like a dark scary hallway to get to your room. Room service options were very limited with bar food instead of the normal good food menu. The time for room service was also very slow I could’ve gotten it myself way quicker. The hot tub in the room was unusable due to brown water coming out. The staff didn’t fix it or offer for us to change rooms just said it was fine and safe only looked bad because the pipes were being changed. So gross. It was my daughters birthday and we notified guest services but they didn’t plan anything special. We requested a song for her at dinner and they forgot. We had to remind them multiple times. The outside restaurant is not very good. All other food was delicious. The hotel was packed. No room in the pool area to have an area so we didn’t swim. Too many bodies for me in that pool. The shows were very poor quality. Not organized and very last minute. Basically a bunch of girls who decided to make up a dance. Not to be mean but the shows used to be really awesome there. Nothing memorable on this trip. The room was old and all tile needed deep cleaning.

The food was less than it had been on prior trips. The only
good selection was breakfast. This is not a 4 star resort.
More like a 3 star.

Room too close to the bar that is loud at night.
The resort has no sandy beach & not disclosure on the website.
Friendly staff & services

I tried to check in with my family and the desk clerk said it would be less expensive to book through expedia as i did in front of him. At that time after booking he said he needed our passports which we didnt have since we were only in cozumel for an excursion and decided to stay 1 night before going back to our other resort we were at for the week. Now i have ovwr a $412 charge that wasnt refunded. We went to another resort on the island with no issues since we had our id's

We stayed Friday-Tuesday. All inclusive. Hospitality was great. Go beyond. We had a room on 5th floor. The views so beautiful. The breakfast buffet amazing. Had different things each meal.My husband and I did a spa day. I just can’t stress how kind the employees are! I would highly recommend a trip at Cozumel Palace.🌴⛱️🌴⛱️

Everything was amazing, the staff, the food, the activities or simply the lounging. Top notch!
The only thing my husband didn’t like was the sales pitch you get right after check in.

The staff took such great care of me. I was traveling for Ironman Cozumel, and the team was excited to watch all the athletes race and congratulate our success. I'm coming back next year and staying at Cozumel Palace again. I already booked my stay!

Beautiful views from the room, but not a lot to do inside hotel.

Intense, relentless sales pressure is not what I desired on vacation. I completely understand away from the property because people are trying to make a living. I’m not sure how “I do not want to participate in a time share” meeting translates but I do know that “no” translates! I did not appreciate being approached while waiting to eat, in the morning before I get out of bed, or as soon as I walk through the door after a long day. We travel Internationally a lot- over 10 countries this year… I will never stay at one of these properties again!
In all fairness, the hotel staff was exceptional, professional, attentive, and courteous!

The staff was amazing. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. This is an ocean front property but no sand access in front of the water. We really enjoyed the snorkleing right from the resort. The drinks seemed a little watered down in my opinion but the food was good. Overall we were pleased with our stay. It’s also convenient if you want to walk into town and shop.

We stayed and dove from this property years ago and did not realize that this property was the old Plaza Las Glorias because of the many changes and upgrades. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the staff went out of their way to accommodate our every need. They made an effort to know our names and greeted us using them during our entire stay. The food was excellent and diverse, the small shows were entertaining and the condition of the hotel was wonderful. The hotel and staff are to be commended for their hard work and amiable demeaner.
