Nice clean place, good breakfast

Check in was fast and the staff was friendly. The room was clean but the beds were not very comfortable. The room met our needs though. A quick place to rest and recharge.

Saturday I had booked a room at the Hampton inn Mount Pleasant with my 2 girls and their friend for a cheer competition. I arrived in town early and was told there are zero check ins before 3. He didn't even look to see if any rooms were available. I was bummed but It is what it is. So the girls and I went and got lunch. I came back a little after 2:30. I figured I'd unload the car and get in line so I can get checked in right at 3 considering I had to leave right away to go be at the state finals for competitive cheer by 4. I walked in to find out my room wouldn't be available until 4 but worse yet was the behavior of the gentleman behind the front desk. 2 female workers had just shown up and he was giving them the run down and that run down included bad mouthing people who were upset and mocking a customer because they said they were calling corporate. So I called him out on it and he wanted to tell me not to talk to him like that. He was incredibly rude. So a lady behind me started yelling at the guy because he took her phone number and when a room was ready was supposed to be called and all these people she came with got their room…. So what did they do accommodate her and got her a room. WHY did no one else get accommodated. Why did he tell some people zero check ins before 3 but others were able to check in.
I just called a Hilton hotline since I haven't heard from the manager. Supposedly they already sent my refund. If that doesn't speak volumes then idk what does.

Our check in was at 3:00, but our room wasn’t ready/done being cleaned until nearly 5:00. When we got to our rooms finally, the pillows were really haphazard on the bed, almost as if someone took a nap after making the bed, and the fitted sheet wasn’t tucked in at all. It just felt really really rushed, and I completely understand waiting after a busy night, but to wait an extra two hours and then the room to feel hardly touched was really frustrating.

Didn't like that the pool and hot tub wasn't available when we checked in but no notification or money off, as I was looking forward to a little relaxation in hot tub for my weekend stay. Was very disappointed

Good trip. The breakfast was ok, but very little options and a little cold at 830am which was surprising. Need a little more attention in that area

Most of the hotel was in really good condition, though the pool water looked pretty green. The breakfast nook gets a little over crowded so trash overflows and they run out of coffee. It's like they could use one more person to help out at breakfast time. Still everyone was pleasant and it was a good hotel to stay at. They give you the number of a shuttle service that will take you to the casino for $3 ea one way.

Staff was nice, location was great. Went to a concert at the casino and stayed here. They have a deal with the cab for cheap rides to and from the casino.

We gathered as an extended family at the hotel. The staff was helpful and polite at all times. They worked hard to keep the hotel clean and neat.

Air quality was not very good in the room. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Hotel is older and in need of upgrading. Housekeeping needs improving.

Property is a little outdated and our room was slightly musty. The thermostat is locked so you can’t change the settings on the AC past a certain point so it was an uncomfortable night.

It was a nice quiet and clean place. Close to everything youd like to do.

The staff was fine. But our bathroom wasn’t clean. The tub was dingy. There were hairs on the outside of the tub. The bathroom ceiling had obvious water damage that was just covered up by a sloppy coat of paint. The sink did not drain well. The rest of the room was ok. Breakfast was alright except for all the bananas had gone bad. I wouldn’t go back.

Great place. Clean... quiet...and the shuttle service to the casino for $3 a person. ...great concert...all around fun for a girls night out.

Overall, room was very nice. When I turned down the bed I was surprised to find it did not have a flat sheet. It was after 11:00. I called the front desk, and within minutes a clean sheet was sent to our room.

The hotel was in good shape and I appreciate them allowing pets to stay. No issues there. The "hot" breakfast was a good idea but they had no food available after 9am other than continental style. That is an important piece that a hotel like this should be sure and stay on top of... it was very busy down in lobby and only 1 employee who wasn't trying to stay up with the food.

We had a problem with the bathroom sink leaking on the floor, there was drywall tape peeling & a dirty comforter. We were there for such a short time I didn’t call the Front Desk
