Someone tried to get into my room. I went to call the front desk but the phone in my room didn’t work. I tried calling from my phone over 20 times and got no answer. After waiting for 3 hours to leave out I finally left and told the front desk the just wrote it down and it’s now been almost a month and I’ve yet to hear anything from anyone.

Hotel is very dirty . Not good for wheel chair bound person. No coffee pot , no cups, no pans. Next morning breakfast provided with no hot water and coffee. I have to wake up front desk people. Around 730 she came those pots. I don’t have enough words to complain. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody. I will never book this hotel. Towel shelf very close to toilet seat. My husband bang his head few times to top shelf. Front desk don’t have any utensils because they are not clean .In spite of asking pots or pan or coffee pot she didn’t provide me anything. My husband is a wheelchair bound. I cannot leave him alone in the room . It was extremely stressful weekend staying at this hotel.

I booked a room here with 2 queen beds for after the Taylor Swift concert. We showed up and were told there were no rooms. Front desk said MAYBE she could find a room with 1 bed and my daughter could sleep on a chair. Not even a couch or a recliner, a chair where she wouldn't be able to fully stretch. That was a big maybe, more thank likely there were no rooms. So we had to scramble at 1am to find accommodations an hour away as everything nearby was booked. Now 3 weeks later Expedia is refusing us a refund because they state the cancellation policy applies. We never cancelled. We were told there were no rooms and to take it up with Expedia. These two companies can't seem to get in contact with each other to resolve the issue. I suggest you look elsewhere for a room and via a different booking company.

My wife had just been released following outpatient abdominal surgery 1 hour before we checked in. She was told to find a motel near to the hospital in West Bloomfield rather than driving 300 miles to our home in Northern Michigan immediately. We drove home the following day. The motel clerk, Alex, was fantastic, and gave us a handicapped room to ease her stay at no additional charge. The only reason that I gave the motel a "4" rather than a "5", was because of the so-called breakfast - some muffins sealed in plastic, some cheap bars, and an empty coffeehouse machine; not even any orange juice. We had an actual breakfast at the Subway a quarter mile away.

There was no cleanliness. Think of the instant whiff of urine when opening the door. It wasn't even a pet roomI had to be moved to another property. Everything was terrible including the area with the exception of 1 front desk person Pam. She did her best in the most impossible of circumstances. The second property they sent me to the staff was unhelpful but l pretty much put that on management Ashley? who were not responsive at all to a prepaid traveler. I never had a worst experience in all my travels at a Extended stay and will never worry about me ever stepping foot in their property.

A little overpriced but convenient.

my check in was at 3 pm .But rooms were not ready till 6:30 pm.and we were on the road or in our car during this time with my disable son. My room# 242 amd the Ac wasnot working ,so I open the window but all night was very uncomfortable.

It was okay for one night. Just ok. It was cost efficient. But none of the bells and whistles if that's what you like. Toilet kept running all night, hotel phone didn't work, however it was clean. At breakfast they served muffin, oatmeal and coffee. I would stay here again as long as it's only 1-3 days

Room snd bed were clean and comfortable. TV didnt work and "breakfast" was granola bars and packaged muffins.

Had a reservation and AJ the attendant said it was 1st come 1st serve. Reservation was made for 80 year old elderly family during a snowstorm during a power outage. They also called before driving to confirm. Property was dirty. Also, had to dispute with the credit card company to reverse the change. These people are fraudsters with a filthy hotel. Do not book.

I stayed here during a recent power outage at my house. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My room was clean and the perfect temperature when I arrived. There is a ton of restuarant options right down orchard lake road.

My stay was amazing the room was comfortable and handicap accessible and I liked how I was upgraded to a room with a full kitchen because it was the only handicap accessible room left. Also if you're a foodie this hotel is in range of a perfect selection of restaurants too

Read some reviews so decided to give it a try, later on in the evening I read some other reviews and to be honest I didn’t feel safe, I was reading stuff and the things I came across made me not want to sleep as deep. Somebody knocked on my door at 330am. I heard lots of yelling at night. Also the bathroom wasn’t clean; there was a stain on the counter top. The top part of the toilet was stained too; I forgot to take a picture. I don’t normally right reviews, but to anyone who thinks of coming here, go somewhere where you will feel safe, and at ease. I was also approached by a older guy when I was walking in, he was staring me down, and said some weird things.

Was said there was supposed to be breakfast and there was none. Booked because breakfast was included. Very disappointing.

The experience was so great. I got my giftcard from hotels.com used it checked n smooth no issues & i will be using hotels.com from here on out

Great staff and great rooms. Super clean and the towels and other things they provided where really nice. The only thing I would complain about it the breakfast the muffins were dry and there wasn't a whole lot of options. But that wasn't a deal breaker for me I still had a wonderful time there.

It made me feel safe when I was so far away from home.

Would stay there again. Front desk clerk asked us to contact you because Colin Stevens' (the guest) flight was delayed and he did not arrive in the hotel until the following morning (9th July). The hotel asked us to contact you so that you please cancel the charge for the night of 8th July, please. They said they would contact you also themselves. Thank you.

Check in person was a gem! No frills but clean and comfortable. Bed was wonderful. Exactly what I was looking for.

Room smelled like smoke. extremely dirty. Had sapping smoke residue on every surface. dusty. TV was STICKY. Floors were disgusting. Needs new vents/filters..... Overall, marketed as smoke free but that is obviously not enforced and I could not wait to leave this place and get home.

Clean and affordable with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are starting to show wear and tear, but absolutely reasonable for the price.

Average stay. House keeping is only once in 7 days, which was a great disappointment. Also if you keep the garbage outside the room Housekeeping wont pickup. The condition of the room and the upkeeping is average. The kitchen drains were not working efficiently. The power points for pluging equipments are not very effectively located even for the working table.

Great room for the price. Room was clean and comes with a kitchenette. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I will be staying here again for sure.
