Do not stay here. I read reviews and everything was good. But when you are there and see the burnt eggs every morning for a week it's not work getting up at 6am. I was woken up at 415Am by two cockroaches crawling on my foot and ankle. I jumped out of bed and my husband and I immediately packed up our baby and our things and checked out. I asked for a manager and didn't get a call back for two days. The excuse I was given was that an exterminator was there a week ago and it was normal for some to still be there. That is inexcusable. There should be no pest infestation. I was offered a $25 walmart giftcard as an apology. I had to spend $200 on cleaning, and detailing and pest control sprays to make sure our belongings and car didn't have any roaches or eggs. DO NOT STAY HERE.

First Time Staying There... Staff Was Super Friendly And Inviting....I was Happily Surprised Of How Comfortable The Queen Size Bed Was..Walking Distant To Restaurants, Bars, Coffeee Shops, Shopping Centers All With-In 5-15 Minutes Walking

Bathroom had a leak & mold in ceiling. Carpeting was dirty and scent of room was nauseating.

Simple friendly checkin. Room felt big and very clean. Shower head was great. Good water pressure. Thrilled to find microwave and mini fridge. White bedding with duvet was bright, clean and crisp. Hotel is adjacent to an active train line, but it wasnt bad. I kinda liked it. The AC unit had a button for constant fan. That is huge. The white noise is much appreciated. Location for my needs very convenient.

Good value hotel that was no frills but clean and met our needs. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Some noise from train and traffic, but not too bad and to be expected in any city location.

It's a standard budget motel/hotel. Locking doors, hot showers, clean linens and beds. What more do you need?

Hotel was a very clean, Clemson themed, no frills hotel. Staff was friendly and it looks recently updated. Nice linens and room was modern. The only drawback was a loud plumbing noise that occurred through the night, but all else was good

Property is beside a train track that wakes you every hour. Horrible highway noise as well. First room smelled of strong garlic. Moved to second room and smelled horrible too but like fish. Shower is like the size found on a cruise ship and door leaks. No working fan in the bathroom. Television had no remote. Had to go down and get another remote from the front desk and it didn’t work either. Breakfast was so lacking I could not believe they had the nerve to say it was included. Had non-refundable room but left two nights early and lost over $200.00 simply because I couldn’t deal with a second night there.

the toilet wasn't secured to the floor properly, when I sat down for the first time, I almost fell over

This place has aged. Staff were friendly and helpful. . There was only cereal for breakfast.

Prices were jacked up for gameday as expected, but this place was decent. Good location, included breakfast, had a 24 hour desk. It was fine. Our first room reeked of smoke but we were able to quickly change. Our phone never worked. Had this been a $200 room, I’d give it awesome reviews. For $500 a night, the crappy thin towels and room cleaning only when requested was just a bad money grab. Book early and elsewhere.

The rooms are very old and run down. The bathrooms are disgusting and dirt has accumulated on the walls, tile, floorboard. The showers are old and I won’t even shower in them because they are moldy. I took pictures but I won’t post them because it’s too embarrassing.

Very nice stay in a clean hotel. Afford and close to the university. Would definitely stay againm

The location was perfect for my travel, however, the inn is old and in need of improvement. The room itself was comfortable, but the bathroom had light fixtures that were not working and a roll in shower that was dangerous.

It was a nice stay, and the ambience was Clemson all the way. However, the rooms were OK but nothing special. I would still stay there again though just don’t expect too much. The folks behind the counter were extremely nice.

Beautiful place to stay - quite and off the beaten path - plan on returning if ever back in the area -

Helpful staff. Good location. Comfortable beds.

Room was small and bathroom was tiny. Only serving continental breakfast which was undesirable specially the eggs and sausage premade frozen ones served. Gym in a shoebox room. And due to University Parents Weekend, rates ridiculously overpriced especially for reasons above!

We were grossly over charged to stay here .
It was parents weekend so they were taking advantage of the demand for rooms in the area .We were charged over $600 a night , disgraceful for this quality hotel!
The room was small we barely fit in the bathroom .
The room contained old mattresses that sank in. The AC barely worked not to mention it was extremely loud.
Our toilet clogged , so my husband called for a plunger and we fixed it ourselves. The online marketing makes the hotel look much nicer than it is in person.

We loved how convenient this hotel was to the Clemson stadium and downtown Clemson. It has been remodeled since I last stayed and it is very well decorated and upscale now.

Awesome staff. Loved the free snacks and drink in the lobby. Nice and quite. Very clean. Only negative was toilet was slow to flush on our second day there. Overall very nice place to stay. Will stay again.

Wasn’t the cleanliest, toilet moved when sitting, toilet paper roll was mostly used (5 squares), chair was ripped, baseboards dirty, the aC registered 69 but the room did not feel that close. Smoker smell in the room

The blankets and pillows and bed were fairly comfortable. The layout of the room was nice. The amenities were also good.
I was a little bit surprised with the ADA restroom.. so they have a built-in shower seat, located at the very back of the bathtub, typically would not be an issue, except for the showerhead is not detachable and therefore you can’t really wash yourself properly if you’re sitting on the seat and can’t stand. Being a Clemson themed hotel, I was a little bit surprised at the choice of colors/decorations but that’s not really a complaint or anything like that… Just an observation.
The air conditioner was barely putting out any cold air. Therefore the room very stale and damp from the humidity.
The mini fridge is sitting on a water collection tray, but it’s not sitting on there properly so when you open the door or shut the door, it wobbles like crazy. Stuff that I had put in the door, fell out and had to be put back.
I’m not sure why the microwave is located at the very bottom of the cabinet. That’s a very weird place for microwave even for someone that does not have a physical disability.
The breakfast was great! They had a lot of things to select from and all of the fruit were fresh. There was even a little pancake making machine that is very different from what I’ve seen before… It was like a conveyor belt that automatically made the pancakes and spit them out the other end for you.

Love this place

The inn as a whole was nice, clean, and the staff was friendly. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature was barely warm. The staff immediately offered us access to another room to shower in, but unfortunately, that was no better. Possibly something that can be solved and no reason to give them a bad rating, more so, just awareness before you book.

Comfortable bed. Decent size room. Quiet and convenient location. Ample parking. Good quick 1 night stay. Easy.

Nice place, clean. Nothing super special but was good for dropping off kid for college. Plenty of dining options in the area.

I thought Clemson Inn was a great spot before doing first year drop off. Very friendly staff and full of school spirit!

It is close to campus which is nice. But it is dirty and the two rooms we went into had odor. We think it may be mold, but hard to tell. If you crank the AC, you can still hear the train rolling by during the night. There was a dirty sock and a hair clip under our bed. Doesn’t appear that they put much effort into cleaning. Front lobby was nicest part.
