It was dirty. Bugs and roaches. Dirty towels and bathroom, blood on curtains and chairs. Management was horrible

Omg this property was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! IT WAS NASTY WITH CIGARETTE BURNS IN THE BLANKETS, STAINED EVERYTHING. I TOOK MANY PICTURES AND WAS JUST TOTALLY DISGUSTED!!!!! If we hadn't just drove 11hrs and looked at the room there is no way we would have stayed there!!!! And the price for that room was an absolute joke over 100 for something that i wouldn't have paid 25 !!!!

We booked a non-smoking room. The first moment we got into our room, full of smoking smell. My kids couldn’t breathe. There are many many cigarettes burn holes in the comforter. (See pictures). The sink is super dirty and nasty. There is a toilet seat in the hallway. How horrible. Worse experience ever.

Arrived having had a prepaid reservation. Received room key, opened room door and beds were unmade, trash around and obviously not cleaned. Excuse was they were remodeling. Sat outside room and watched while room was quickly cleaned by 3 people. Room was still filthy. Only thing were ok with was that we saw them change the bedding. Holes in walls, cobwebs, ceiling peeling, screws in ceiling for who knows what, command strips on the wall for who knows what, even the picture on the wall was dirty. Holes in curtain that didn't close all the way, switches caked with dirt, walls stained and dirty, hole in bathroom ceiling. I could go on. If it there were other hotels available we would have moved. We slept, got up early and left. We were afraid to use the shower. On top of it all, the toilet clogged.

This is an old property with a real sketchy clientele, pit bulls and all, but the bed was comfortable. NO telephone in room, no blanket, a broken heater/AC, and a carpet that was uncleanable. Nice young girl checked me in in broad daylight through a security window, which certainly made me feel insecure for my car, computers, and my own safety.

Room was dirty, looked like a renovation was started and no one cleaned up before it was rented out. Sheets were dirty and stained.

I reserved a king non smoking. All they had for me was 2 double smoking. The room was pretty dingy and unclean. The beds were very uncomfortable.

When i got there the first room had a back up toilet the next one no A/C, then they put me in one that didn't even have a TV, then they tried to put me in one with no cable??? I'm still waiting for my money to get put back on my bank card, but i don't know if its Hotel.com or America best inn???

Very dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty!!!!! There are stains on the sheets and I can see many small pieces (maybe snacks) on my sheets. There sheets have NOT been changed!!! I DO NOT recommend this hotel. I won’t use Americas Best Value Inn.

The first room I was put in was horribly dirty. It looked as though it has not been dusted or cleaned in months. The only thing that was appeared to have been tended to was the bed. The towels were also grossly stained but appeared to have been washed. The toilet did not flush and when I tried to flush it the knob fell off. I called the front desk and they moved to another room that had a working toilet. There were also roaches in the room and dead roaches in the air conditioning unit. I took photos.

We had booked a stay in this motel, but we did not stay. We walked into the room and were immediately revolted. There was this awful smell, kind of what you'd expect from a very old building. But it was also like the room had been flooded, and they decided to keep the same carpet.
There was duct tape holding a light fixture up in the bathroom. The dresser drawer was falling apart. All in all, it was just disgusting. We turned around and walked back out.

Glad to have sofa in the room but it was not soft. I sat on sofa and sank in to the cushions so badly I could feel the base boards. The shower and bathroom was gross. And the bed just simply looked and felt worn out. The sheets were flimsy and a few of the pillow cases had stains. The maids can surely see the poor quality so why use them? We did not use TV. Glad to have refrig and micro. WIFI was OK. The room curtain was unhinged and dangling from its base.

If I could give a negative star review, I would. This place sucks the life out of you as soon as you walk up. Dirty, noisy, trashy, scary. Rooms were horrible, walked in, walked out and left. DO NOT stay here. I am pretty open minded and can stand little shortcomings, but this place had no redeeming qualities. By far, the worst place I've ever been. Repeat...STAY AWAY

I understand it's swampy Louisiana, but roaches should be eradicated regardless. Room wasn't as clean as it could be by housekeeping. Exiting the property to get to I-10 was a hassle. Right turn, right turn, U turn, left turn just to get to the other side of the street. If you are pulling a trailer (U-Haul type), I don't suggest staying here.

There were 11 people asleep in my room when I arrived.
Desk clerk did not know what to do. I had to go find another hotel which was difficult because it was Final Four weekend. Ended up driving another hour and half to Baton Rouge until finally found a room
