Friendly staff. Clean room. Several items out of order…laundry, ice machines, pool, lobby restroom. Room heater temp control irratic. Coffee cold, juice diluted, eggs tepid, crowded eating area. We would stay there again.

We were called 35 minutes before our scheduled check-in and told they were double booked with our reservation being cancelled. They arranged another room for us at a rival hotel in town which was wonderful so I'm rating the service spectacular.

We booked this property at least 1-2 weeks ago. We had an outing in a other town close by and Cambridge came up as a place to stay. We drove into the parking lot at about 7 pm to check in and there was approximately 8 vehicles in the front parking lot. The parking lot and the maintenance of the outside kind of told me what the inside might be like, unkept. We walked in and there was a strong stale smell in the lobby, very musty. The ceiling tiles were missing and the floors were dirty, and this was just in the lobby. We turned to the checkin counter and there was no one waiting there to greet us, which is a first for me. Every hotel I’ve stayed at EVER has had someone there. There was a bell there so myself and my husband began ringing it, about 10 mins later a gentleman and lady came down the hall carrying towels. The gentleman came around to the counter, never said hello never said sorry for your wait, just said ‘do you have a reservation?’ And my husband said yes. He then told us that they were overbooked and he tried calling like 20 people because of overbooking so he didn’t have a room for us. The whole situation was horrible to have to find another hotel that late in the evening, but I’m kind of glad it didn’t work out because I believe the hotel rooms would have been as unsatisfactory as the parking lot, lobby, and hotel service. So just wanted others to know about this experience to help any decisions.

I traveled 5 hours from Virginia with wife, aunt and uncle to The Paul Bunyan Show in Cambridge Ohio. When we arrived at the Comfort hotel the desk clerk immediately told us our room reservation for two nights was.canceled ( without even asking our name) . All hotel rooms were booked in other hotels in area, so we decided to drive 5 hours back home. We had called to confirm reservation prior to going. Needless to say,our trip was ruined.

The pool was empty. The bathroom door would not close. Burned out lights. Jet tub did not work. Toast and apples for "breakfast." Staff did not care.

I'll never stay there again. First room was dirty. Second room the jacuzzi didn't work. That's y I got the room. Not happy

Pictures look much better than reality. Pool and facilities closed and out of order. Elevator makes scary sounds. Breakfast was biscuits, gravy and dodgy waffle maker.

Other than the staff being okay this stay was not up to par. The breakfast is terrible, I ended up paying to go somewhere else to eat breakfast. The pool and hot tub for the guests have been closed down. None of the ice machines worked in the entire building so they had a box of ice at the front desk. They did not have enough employees for the jobs at hand. I was disappointed.

Morning staff very unfriendly! Almost got knocked down by housekeeper running in the door and not looking where she was going. Desk clerk never acknowledged my check out! Check in took 10 minutes as clerk was " in the bathroom" without phone! Was not like this on past stays

The room was spacious with two comfortable chairs and a good mattress. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was quiet and enjoyable.

I don't like that I was rented a room on the idea they had a hot tub and a pool I also don't like but I did not state two days because the second day the whole hotel smelled like sewage so bad that me and my family had to leave and I was supposed to be discounted and refunded today and still have not got it

Order a room for my birthday hott tub was disgusting ceiling was falling in parts of the cieling peeling and falling into the tub and floor was told i was veing refunded and still have not recoved a refund or apology, i have plenty of n photos site wont let me load them

THE POOL WAS CLOSED AND HAS BEEN CLOSED AND THERE WAS NOTHING SAYING ITS BEEN CLOSED FOR 6 MONTHS

Hotel with a pool but the pool is always out of order. Staff are cheerful and very willing to help. Very comfortable beds and nice room.

Hi, I walked in tired from a long drive and met Jenny! She was very helpful and and efficient, so getting to my room was a breeze!

When booking website said pool and hot tub once we got there and checked in we wanted to go swimming and sit in the hot tub. But when we called down stairs to see if the pool was open we were told no it is closed so is the hot tub. We were told that we could use their sister facility pool next door. We went to the sister facility and went to the pool it was very very dirty and very cold for as hot as the room was.

The woman at the desk check in was fantastic so accommodating asking did I need anything, even called me in my room to make sure I had everything I needed, and how my room was and my bed

We stayed in the king suite. It had a jacuzzi in the room. The room was very nice! Staff were friendly. Highly recommended!! We would definitely stay here again.

Two night stay for fall colors in the area. Hotel staff was good, room was very clean and comfortable.

The sink in our first room had a leak & the staff immediately changed us to a nice, new room. Everyone was so friendly & helpful. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Pool and hot tub not working. They did allow guests to go next door to a jointly owned facility to swim.

Room had a musty smell, beat-up walls, really old feel throughout. I don't know how this hotel has rating of 8.6 (fabulous), but I would rate as 5-6 at best. Would not recommend this hotel.

I would like to request a refund for this tonight please. The first room we entered smelled horrific and the door did not lock. The second room smelled like mold. The pool was closed which was one of the amenities we were looking for.

I booked comfort inn because of my last experience at another comfort inn. This comfort inn check inn was Not was welcoming - no cookies or fresh fruit or complimentary bottled water. At breakfast I didn’t appreciate having Fox News playing on the tv
