The person that checked us in was too busy to help and was on her phone the entire time. She acted as though whomever was on personal cell was more important than the guests.

Room was musty, carpet was wet near the bed when we walked in. Remote would turn on TV but no other buttons worked. Only stayed for the convenience of location near the airport.

I was fooled by the 7.6 rating. This place is dirty, outdated, loud, and has some questionable characters hanging around the property. 4/10 at best. I only stayed here one night and was very thankful for that. Don’t make the same mistake I did, stay elsewhere.

We booked hotel 2 months prior with friends..rooms were supposed to be near each other...instead they were on different floors...when going to the room we opened the door to find out someone was in that room..thank goodness they were not in there...then we go a different room where the bathroom sink did not drain...last but not least homeless hang out and sleep in the back of the building...

Check-in was easy and the clerk was great! The lobby smelled so perfumy - as if they were disguising something. The room was clean but it smelled so bad- like mildew. As I approached the AC unit it got stronger and stronger. I didn’t want to put in on High because I had a feeling it was coming from there and didn’t want to breathe that in all night. Woke up very congested. It was uncomfortable. O my stayed here because I was renting a budget truck from across the street the next morning

Our king room was very clean although it didn’t have a chair. It did have a desk one so I just sat in the bed and hubby in that one.

We stayed here one night and used the shuttle to the airport. Shuttle service was timely and the front desk was knowledgeable. The hotel is older and really dirty. Mildew all over the bathroom ceiling, rotted trim, shredded shower curtain. Hotel smells like smoke and grease, rooms aren’t any better. Stains all over the walls and TV cabinet and NONE of the outlets held a plug!! We had to unplug the lamp so we could have a working outlet. Our room overlooked the back parking lot that had a broken down car missing a wheel, and that was it…just that car. The pool is in front of the hotel by the busy road, not relaxing or inviting.

We had a horrible experience. The room next to us had several adults and at least one small child. They partied all night several people were knocking on their door throughout the night and into the early morning. It was an adjoining room so the sound was very loud. We did not call the front desk because the person working was a young women and based on what we heard I did not feel it was safe for her to go to their room and tell them to be quiet. I was also worried about how they might retaliate.

The staff was unfriendly. When we got into our room as always we look for bedbugs and up we found lots of them. I went out to complain to the staff member and he didn't even stand up to talk to me and wouldn't walk in to the room to look at the bed. He also told me that the bug guy was just there 2 days ago. He told me to call the manager on monday

The room was dirty, other guests were complaining about roaches and people kept banging on our door all night. The door didn’t close all the way, so we had our suitcases piled in front of it. I’ve lived in third world countries that were safer and cleaner than this place…should get a full refund

I was surprised by the condition and service provided by this hotel since the reviews on this site provided a high rating. It is very close to the airport (3 miles, 8-10 min drive), but take note the shuttle service is offered only 5am-5pm. Unfortunately for us, the morning shuttle was overbooked and the driver and affected people were very upset. The pool is in the middle of the driveway next to the main road which is not at all private. In the hallways, the walls are badly marked and the trim is coming off in many sections. There is a strong odour within the hotel and especially within the elevator. Lastly, we poured out a small amount of juice down the sink before we left our room for supper and when we returned, there were ants all of the sink and vanity. We will not stay here again.

I booked the best western with confidence that it would be a nice hotel. The hotel is in desperate need of repair. It may have been clean but it was difficult to look past the damaged dirty walls and carpets, and the mold stained bathroom and the smell in the hallways. Will definitely choose somewhere else next time.

For the rate i would have expected the hotel to be a bit more updated. Hall carpet is old and light sockets in the walls and the lamps are all loose. Not great when we have so many devices these days. Also they need a shower curtain that covers the whole shower not just the middle. Amazingly water didnt get everywhere but it was uncomfortable. Beds though were comfortable and had lots of pillows. Choose this location due to proximity to the airport and because hotel is pet friendly. Check in was quick and easy.

I called 2/9 to ask procedure for late arrival. We were flying in from Elmira,Ny and were scheduled to land at 10:44 and by the time we could get our luggage and it could be late. I was told they would do an audit at 1:00 to 2:00 and it would charge me for the next day. (This lady was not at all friendly but kept telling about the audit) We arrived prior to one. (The guy at the night desk did not have a smile either. ) The girl who does breakfast was wonderful-smiling and accommodating. The room 109 had a funky smell. It seems like the hotel in general has gone down hill since our last stay. The pull curtains need to be cleaned(it looked like blood on the curtain. The morning desk clerk had a smile and wished us a good day.

I would not recommend this hotel. It was very dated and run down. We felt like everything in the room was dirty. The walls and doors were so dirty. Paint was chipping off onto the floor. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. We knew as soon as we saw the Hallways and elevator that our room was going to be interesting. I don’t usually give bad reviews, but definitely would not stay a there again.

Extremely out of date in need of a face lift of the entire facility. No hot water in the shower and shower dripped all night air conditioner was loud. The only positive was the bed was somewhat comfortable.

This is an older hotel with excellent proximity to the airport. Our beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The surfaces in the room were clean, however, the flooring in the hotel was not the cleanest, and needs replacement. There were other items that needed maintenance or replacement also i.e. the shower curtain rod, the ventilation fan in bathroom and other small items.

First off we arrived at the airport to be told they stop their shuttle service at 5 .pm. We arrived at 11:15 pm , had to wait to get a Uber after one hour standing outside by taxi stand. Free breakfast is cut off at 9:00 am , so we had to hurry to not miss breakfast. Stayed a couple years ago, but it has deteriorated since then.

We did not feel safe or welcome in this hotel. The front desk personnel was unfriendly and unhelpful. The elevator smelled like someone had just been smoking marijuana. We asked for a plug for the bathtub, and were told they didn’t have one.

The room real smelled musty all week. A/C did not help. They gave us a can of air freshener but it didn't help. Room definitely needs an upgrade; bathroom looks very old. The carpet badly needs shampooing. On the up side breakfast was great.

Check in and check out was hassle free. Also free was the shuttle to the Sanford airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. No USB ports for charging, but plenty of outlets to plug into. Great location convenient to restaurants and shopping. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Elevators and hallways could have been cleaner.

Overall the room was clean. The bathroom could use a little work..chipped paint, some discolored grout, shower tap had slow drip. Check-in and out was quick and easy. Price was reasonable. Sorry I can’t review the breakfast since I had to leave before it started.
