Plumbing in the place was terrible. Initially we got a room where the shower water was just running constantly and couldn't shut it off, there were small roaches in the bathroom.
The only good thing is that it was close to NASA

Friendly staff. Easy check in and out. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Inexpensive (cheap) but perhaps then not enough money is allocated for maintenance. The door knob to the bathroom as unscrewed by at least a 1/3", meaning it was impossible to lock the bathroom door. Slightly lower than average "breakfast," although the Texas-shaped waffles were cute.

I had expected a suite, where the luving room (with a couch) is SEPARATED from the bedroom! Plus, toiletries were NOT replenished.

Location to space center is excellent. Room was comfortable size and decent for age of property, but not for the money. Rusty door frames and fixtures, tattered curtains and bed skirts/blankets. Staff was friendly. Breakfast included.

The hotel was not clean or well kept. There were water stains on the ceiling, stains on the carpet, soft spots in the floor, broken drawers, etc. The breakfast food was poor quality. There were no phones in the room to call the front desk. Very disappointing overall.

I generally like this hotel. However, there were some problems with this stay. The carpet of my room had not been vacuumed. The toilet (on the outside) was not clean. The bed was clean and comfortable, but the room needs some repairs and some paint. Many holes were spackled but not painted. The tub faucet was extremely loose.
My floor also had some very loud guests - children were were very loud in the hallway at midnight. Also, one adult playing loud music in the hallway this morning (possibly to wake up the kids). Some people are still sleeping and the adult should know better. Also, if there are school trips, I would wish the chaperons would better control the noise level of the kids.

Staff interaction was quite limited. If you had a problem or concern there was hardly anyone there to speak to about your concerns. I saw tiny roaches cascading down the walls of my bathroom. The toilet was non functional some days. The ‘breakfast’ should not have been listed as a convenience. It consisted of coffee and muffins and toast. Idk when I hear breakfast I’m thinking of much more. Overall quite poor. I would definitely not be staying there again.

This is a 2-star hotel. My room desperately needs remodel. Poor quality pillows, coffee maker in lobby breakfast area was broken. No one at front desk to ask for coffee for room. Expected more.

Nothing

No coffee for breakfast. Poor breakfast service. In the room no tea option, refrigerator was broken, curtains were broken, only one coffee bag for a two guest room. But the beds were good and the air condition also. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this place. It is not expensive but at least you expect to have a coffee for breakfast.

I booked this hotel because of the price and the location. We were coming in from Florida and heading to NASA in the morning. Our flight was delayed so we didn't get in until about 9:15 pm. Maybe that's a good thing because the hotel is stuck in the past. The decor was super old, the pool was filthy, and it smelled like cigarette smoke everywhere. Furthermore, the staff wasn't very approachable. When asking whether we just left the keys in the box to check out, the man at the counter rolled his eyes at me like I should have known that. I'm glad we only stayed the night and not a minute longer. I don't know how the brand Wyndham is attached to this location.

The pool was so rough that it tore our feet up to the point that our feet started bleeding and they don’t have housekeeping. Housekeeping didn’t even get the trash out of the room the next morning and I had to go to the laundry room to get more towels and wash clothes because they only had 2 of each and nobody was at the front desk to ask for them. And they only had 1 washing machine and 1 dryer and they didn’t work. I highly would not recommend staying there

The property was quite that's a plus But the toilet ran all night, the television didn't show. I thought Wyndham hotels served meat and eggs for breakfast that's part of the reason for me staying at Wyndham hotels and if not please let me know

This property needs major renovations. It simply was not clean enough for me to even consider staying again. The top sheets were stained possibly from heat. I was too afraid to sleep under the covers, but I did strip down the bed before leaving, and I’m certain the sheets beneath the mattress cover were NOT CLEAN. The attendant was nice enough, but this is not a place that I would stay again.

Took a little long to check in, it was late at night. (Had to wait for someone to return to front desk)

Was a little disappointed that the coffee at breakfast wasn’t working my entire 6 day stay! Other than that everything was great! Clean, accommodating staff friendly

We stayed 4 nights, 5 days and only received housekeeping 1 day. We asked why and they said due to shortage of staff. This should have explained this when we booked. Also rooms were not as nice as the ones that were on their website. The lady at the front desk was rude and the breakfast was horrible. We had breakfast elsewhere.

They sent us to a room where the toilet seat is very very old and has lots of old stain. Lots of things need to be updated. The free breakfast was fair.
I saw a dark hair under the pillow which make me think did they really changed the pillow cases?

Always a good value with plenty of room.

It smelled like curry when we first walked in, our room was musty sand moldy. There were holes in the carpet, curtains and shower curtain and it was very loud. The front desk clerk was friendly enough, but we ended up not staying past the first night.

This hotel is in need of a major update and renovation. I just can’t believe Wyndham would allow a property to continue in this condition. Everything and I mean everything outdated. It appears to be family owned and operated and they do the best they can and they were super nice. No wonder why the price was so cheap glad it was only for one night I would not have been able to make it further. The room we were in 308 we set the AC for a temp but it kept edging up, the security latch was broke , items were not stocked up. I’m highly disappointed because we stayed at the Buda, TX location with no issues.

We had a pretty good stay. There’s no hot breakfast which I wasn’t aware of until getting there, none the less it was still free breakfast. This is one of the hotels you get to just come to after a long day of whatever you had planned and just rest. Overall we were satisfied with our stay. It was my wife and I, along with our two kids, aged 4 & 1. Perfect area if you’re wanting to go to anywhere in Houston or Galveston. Only a 35-40 minute ride either way. Traffic wasn’t too terrible either in the area or the Highway. Also, they did have a Bucees like 20 minutes up the highway.

Room was damp and bathroom had grunge in corners. Convenient location but lousy room.

The floor in the room (213) has a large area of sub floor that sinks in making it unsafe for walking. I nearly fell over every time I crossed the room. There were toenail clippings on the floor. The shower faucet knob literally came off in my hand. Maintenance of the property seems non existent. The staff is not welcoming. I felt like I was checking into a rehab or minimum security prison.

It was ok

The property was ok, I had read reviews that it was run down and it sure was. It seemed to be family ran so they were great but too many issues arised on our 2 night stay. 1st, the tiles by the toilet were super loose and broken, dangerous for my crawling baby and toddler. The water would not regulate, no matter which way you turned it, it was extremely hot for my kids. No drain stopper for them to bathe either.
Sheets had stains, window curtain was torn, and the pull out couch bed had an awful mattress with bad springs. First day for breakfast it was fully stocked, 2nd morning on a Monday, nothing was out and no one was restocking anything, like bagels, muffins, yogurts, toast, etc. Last but not least, after we had dinner the last night a cockroach came out from under the table, I tried to kill it and it ran into the wood frame between leg and table top, so disgusting. Very unfortunate because the price was great, staff was nice and it’s a great location in the Houston Bay Area, but we will not be staying there again or recommending it based on the poor maintenance and cockroach incident.

The first room they put us in was disgusting. The carpet was mouldy. Bugs running around. The fridge and microwave had no plug socket to put them on. The curtains were hanging off. They then put us in a different room. Slightly better. Then at 2 am the people they had next door to us decided to have a party next to us. We rang reception no one answered. My husband then went down and asked them to sort it out. We were not far from reception and you could hear it there. He asked them d to be quiet but they didn’t.in the end we got moved around 5am. At breakfast we spoke to other guests who agreed this hotel is not been run as a hotel but for the homeless. They are living there. We complained and we got told if you go to the hotel next door it’s worse. I said I didn’t booked the hotel next door.I said why didn’t you kick them out for making so much noise at that hour. He said he can’t. Yet I’ve spoken to other hotel and they said that’s what they do. You make the guest who are not making the noise move. Two Police cars turn up as we left they was looking for someone wanted by the police there. This hotel is nothing like the photos they show on their internet. You won’t get any sleep. The staff lie because hotel.com have rang them up and they said there’s nothing down about it. Yet in the morning I went to complain he new about each room we had been put in.
We only booked this room to close to the space centre.

Hardly slept the second night as the next door had loud TV all night!!!
Breakfast would be nicer if you don't have to ask staff to refill food.
