If you’re ever staying in SSF, book here. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is probably, if not the best hotel I’ve stayed at whenever I’m visiting San Francisco. Not only is it in a great, safe location that is within a 15-20 minute drive to downtown SF, the rooms are very clean and comfortable allowing you to get a good nights sleep. On top of that, Janmesh was very hospitable, communicative, and answered all my questions and concerns prior to my stay. Vicki was also nice and patient during my check-in and check-out. And they also offer a breakfast bar (didn’t get the chance to try it) but is a good option for a light quick meal before starting your day. The only con which is not really too bad, they’re just taking the necessary precautions is they require a $150 deposit hold upon check-in that is only accepted through credit card, on the bright side it was quickly refunded 24 hours after I left. But regardless, they checked all my boxes in what I like in a hotel. A quality, budget-friendly, and welcoming stay is all I could ask for.

Our stay was excellent from the moment we walked in the hotel. We arrived at noon, expecting to only be able to drop off our bags before heading into downtown SF. Jamesh gave us amazing customer service, and made me my wife’s hero by not only getting us AAA discount on our early check-in fee, but helping us get an upgrade to a King suite! My wife and I loved our stay, even though it was just for the one night. And the super close proximity to the SFO airport was so helpful, allowing us to be able to return off the rental car and make it to the terminal with enough time for breakfast before our flight. You ROCK, Jamesh!! Thanks again!!

Out of all the hotels that I stayed at in that particular area, that was the best one i stayed at. As soon as I walked in you can see the cleanliness. Also they understand the meaning of hospitality, as i am in the same business in the culinary side of it. I just want to say thank you for a enjoyable experience. Ohh and the coffee was great. The property was very kept with clean rooms and many amenities. Staff was awesome in helping with all my needs. Throughly enjoyed my stay and will stay here again in the future if in the area.

I decided to stay here based on the good reviews and overlooked the bad ones. I figured they must of had a bad experience, doesn’t mean I will. We were visiting our daughter who goes to SFSU we stayed Friday-Sunday. When we walked in it was decent. Settled in then I noticed cigarette burns on the bed I called front desk and the nice receptionist just changed the bedspread. Mind you, it’s a no smoking hotel. I was going to shower and there was hairs in the bathtub ugh!! I called and they would send someone to clean, no one ever came. I told my husband first and last time we are staying here I didn’t want to move or make a big deal since I got what I paid for, $97 a night. We weren’t at the hotel only to sleep, out and about all day. Sunday when we were getting ready to leave I nocited there were numbers written on the sheets not sure if these belonged to room 208 because that’s what it said in big letter, I just shock my head for sure never staying here again. On a good note the receptionist Jim gave us a good breakfast spot recommendation and it was delicious.

I stayed one night. Overall, clean and good service, with a few issues that I can overlook for the price. The beds are a little hard. They need blackout curtains, but luckily it's still getting light pretty late. I heard a little noise through my door, which seems to conduct sound well. There weren't many guests or that could have been more of an issue.

Bed was very firm and uncomfortable. Green light from the smoke detector was bright enough that i could read in the dark. Cleaning staff left pieces of toilet paper in the peep holes to block light from the hallway. The tv stand had drawers that wouldn't stay closed. The air conditioner says its controlled by the wall but is actually controlled on the AC unit itself. AC unit worked intermittently (on for 2 minutes off for 30 seconds on for 2 minutes) and was very loud and obnoxious. Would never stay again.

But his service is above excellent his compassion kindness make my stay memorable since I injured my back and his very kind of my situation and assist me in all possible well. Hotel staff were nice, everything is good but Shower at hotel make me cry, my tears will came out more than shower head. No pressure in shower head, so i have to take time, alot of time to take shower. You have to make sure shower is good if you are there for businesses. All rooms are non smoking, also smoking free building but i smell marijua in my room, in the hallway and outside. At first, i though it was skunt smell, but that smells woke me up middle of the night. I get it it is S.F. and no smoking cigarettes. But that smell make me sick and mad. It was worse than cigarettes smoke smell. If you are ok with that smell or you like that smell, then you will be fine.

Mr. Janmesh at check in was literally the best part of me and my wife’s whole trip to San Francisco. We had trouble with our flight to Bali and had to book an extra night he not only helped us get our keys back after we had already checked out and had to come back he helped us get the room for another day since we were incorrect on the timing of the flight. He was very friendly and had the best personality. The room was super clean literally no complaints. Very close to the airport and doesn’t break the bank definitely will come back when we come back to San Francisco. Hope you see this Janmesh wish you could have came with us lol.

The room was clean, but our sink faucet was loose, the water would come out only in warm-hot temp. The toilet was also loose, when you would sit down it felt like it was going to tip over. Aside from these things the room was clean, the continental breakfast was decent and staff was helpful.

The staff was very welcoming and fun! They took care of us really well and it felt very warm whenever we pass them by the check-in counter. The place was quaint, but clean. You can see the age of the place, but it's well maintained. They had home made waffles for breakfast so that was a plus! Parking was easy, and there's a McDonald's across the street incase you get hungry!

Staff was friendly and positive. However, there was an unclean smell in the elevator and hallways. There were two small bars of soap on the sink, but nothing to put one in when opened. The sink faucet had to be pounded on to stop leaking. The TV worked OK one night, and would not bring in any programs next morning except pay to view movies and a LARGE selection of adult titles.

When I check in the hotel the front desk agent asking me to pay additional $12 fee? I think my payment was all done by when I booked on line. The hotel was not clean I had to put towel to cover the setting area

My first time staying at the Hotel Nova. Janmeesh greeted me and was so friendly, professional and very accommodating to my needs. All the staff that I uncounted were all friendly and very professional. My room was clean and bigger than I thought it would be. The breakfast provided was very good. Coffee, tea and juices. Waffles, hot(instant) and cold cereal, fruit, variety of bread, sandwich meat and cheese as well as yogurt. The surrounding area of the hotel has food options, gas stations and Costco right across the street. Highway access is right down the street. I would definitely stay at Hotel Nova again and have already suggested to family and friends to stay there!!

They gave me a room right across from the front desk and I was awake at 6 am and couldn't get back to sleep because I could here everything and everybody at the front desk! Then someone just open my door and try to enter while I was still in bed, then one hour later a fire alarm starts beeping for no reason. My stay was very unpleasant!

The breakfast area was nice and clean but the rooms were just ok. The bathroom had a musty odor and when the AC kicked on, we smelled marijuana. We contacted the front desk and they only offered air freshening spray, stating the room had not been used for a few days, so that’s why it smells. I don’t think we would stay again.
