The Good:
~~~Paul~~~
Start off by saying that Paul was amazing. He happily arranged transport from the airport to the hotel and acted as an atm when I needed cash for the shuttle the next day. I saw him give a lady 2 bottles of water for no charge. This guy gets hospitality, I truly believe his talents are being wasted.
~~~Internet~~~
Internet was quick, was able to download 5 45min episodes for the plane in about 10 minutes and work for a bit without any issues.
~~~Price~~~
You get what you pay for, $60/night
The Bad
~~~Bed~~~
I've slept on plyboard that was softer than the bed.
~~~Weird Smell~~~
There was a weird smell to the place, can't put my finger on it but my guess is once upon a time these were smoking rooms and it's really difficult to get that smell out.
~~~Door~~~
The door to the room wouldn't close. I called the front desk and Paul came and got it to shut by slamming it really hard.

It was horrible. It felt like a rundown old apartment. The room needs upgraded. The staff decided to have a screaming conversation at 8 am, instead of meeting on the outside, they yelled in the hallway and they were like 5 or 6 rooms apart. Not a pleasant way to wake up. When we checked in, we could smell weed (marijuana) in the lobby. Very disappointed. Will not stay again.

Was good for a place to sleep for a bit but did not have breakfast as advertised on here.

The pictures make it look alot better than it was. The room was somewhat clean. But there is dust and bottom of tub looks dirty. Beds are not comfortable. For a one night it was ok . But i wouldn't stay there again.

This hotel was dirty, smelly, and obviously poorly maintained.

From the smoke and marijuana smell as soon as you walk in to the pubic hairs on the bathroom wall and on the “clean” towels, this place was horrible. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

The doors to your room are not in alignment with the building frame- you'll need to pull HARD to open them, and push even harder to close. Not a big deal at all, but just something to be aware of.
The carpet in front of the bathroom being weirdly wet and sticky with leftover soap residue was also ok once I knew to step over it. However, it did cause me to refrain from being barefoot at all on any of the carpet.
The shower was FANTASTIC- clean, great water pressure, great temperature.
Having to clean the obviously dirty toilet seat before I could use it was... a bit of a shock to see it, but expected based on the price. Also, the water pressure of the toilet flush means that it will take multiple flushes to clear the bowl.
The room itself was clean and orderly. Everything electronic worked perfectly, and I have absolutely no complaints about the level of housing that I opted into for the evening.
The night manager seeming startled about the booking and asking me how much I paid for my room? I was NOT a fan of that back and forth exchange with him- especially when I, a non smoker, was warned repeatedly about not smoking in the rooms as I'm standing in an entryway smelling strongly of marijuana.
The checkout process was so easy, and the manager in the morning was extremely courteous and kind.
I would very much recommend this place if you're just looking for a night of basic accommodations.

Disgustingly dirty and everything you own will smell like smoke

There was people sitting in the lobby that seemed odd as late it was and was dark in back of hotel

We stayed on the third floor, just around the corner from the office. Room was clean. No funny smell or obvious issues. King size bed with crisp clean sheets and pillow cases. Bathroom was kinda small, but bright and clean.
Room included mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. And a decent sized smart TV.
Bed was comfortable, but pillows were all different stages of fluffy and lumpy. And there was only one towel in the bathroom for two guests.
$153/night. On a Friday night.
A little pricey, but apparently there was an event going on this weekend.

Was lower budget and no breakfast. Highly disappointed.. would never recommend this place.

The windows in the hallway were all open without screens which let bugs in. There was no one at the checkin counter when we arrived. I had to call the front desk 3 times before someone walked out to greet us. There was an odd smell in the hallways as well. The outside doors of the building either did not shut or were impossible to open. Also, an alarm was going off for over an hour at 10pm when I was trying to sleep.

it looked like a haunted house in the hall way. spooky but great property

It was very nice for the price we paid, had a Walmart and all kinds of restaurants from fast food to sit down, was also across the street from a gas station

I was refused a receipt by the front desk guy on Saturday, August 19.2023. And August 21,2023 I refused my AARP discount by the same guy. I paid cash for my room 216. On Monday, August 21,2023 I paid cash. This guy at the front desk also cleans the rooms at the Super 8, Pittsburgh Airport. He said, his name was Dees and he has a ponytail on top of his head. Then, today his co-worker was in the lobby watching me for no reason because I have done nothing wrong. His head red hair and red beard. They have no customer service skills.

I was not happy with the service I received! My reservation was changed without my authorization was lucky they accommodate. The bed was small and room had no a/c and horribly outdated. Was moved to another room and was told to talk to the manager for refund. Still have not heard from the manager Nick! Then the front desk person lied to me regarding the refund and tried to lie to hotels.com Representative that on something that I did not state after being told that I needed to get my refund from hotels.com only to be told it could not be accomplished I would have to speak to the manager at motel unacceptable! I will have to call my credit card to dispute unacceptable and I will be contacting super 8 regarding the staff and my treatment. I also was want to speak to a manager from hotels.com I very upset!

For the price, this place can't be beat! Good amount of space, great bed, excellent A/C. Super close to the airport, yet ZERO jet noise. A few upgrades are probably due, but for less than$75/ night, it was a bargain!

Bed was extremely hard. Bathroom door and door to enter room was extremely loud and sounded like they were breaking

Due to the weather, I missed my connecting flight out of Pittsburg, and United wouldn't give me a voucher. Luckily, I found the Super 8, which was a modest price and included a shuttle service to and from the airport. I called the hotel and inquired about the shuttle. The person was friendly and directed me to the shuttle. Once I arrived at the hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you for your help. I was feeling upset about missing my flight, and the staff at the Super 8 made things easy for me.

We stayed for one night while going to a concert , the staff was friendly, we arrived an hour before check in but had absolutely no wait to get into our room, was happy to see each room comes with a coffee pot, microwave and mini refrigerator, and the rooms were clean , adequate amt of towels n washcloths, we had a king sized bed, it was very comfortable .

Average stay. All you could smell was weed and cigarettes. Room was pretty clean so no complaints there. Building definitely needs cleanup and maintenance

We got to the property and I was immediately afraid. It looked NOTHING like advertised. I decided to just try and deal with it because I knew I wouldn’t find anything else. We get to the room, and while it was just cleaned, there was NO toilet paper after a two and a half hour trip. The parking lot was sketchy. Get back from concert and try to use toilet with the toilet paper I brought in from my car, now it won’t flush. Have to call maintenance as two girls alone, at 11:45 at night. Someone comes, not that I’m really wanting to let anyone into my room at that time, “fixes it.” While trying to sleep Enterprise trucks are repeatedly backing up right outside the window making it impossible to fall asleep. Being on the first floor, and the integrity of the windows also was very scary to me. Woke up and toilet doesn’t work again. Go get something to eat nearby, use a toilet that flushes and upon discussion decide there is no way we are staying a second night there. Wanted to cancel second night with refund. Front desk and manager refused because they offered me a different room (where the toilet may or may not work), and apparently it was my fault there was no toilet paper in the room, I should have just called front desk. A red headed employee was in a room down the hall at one point saying some very disturbing things to someone unseen, and frankly it was frightening knowing he had access to our room after having heard the things he said. Worst hotel I have literally ever been.

Room was dirty, non-smoking room smelled like smoke, the ‘free’ shuttle was not free - we had to pay on arrival at the hotel, front lobby was dirty. Broken light in my room, bathtub chipped and not repaired, , shower curtain was filthy, plug ins on one wall didn’t work at all, carpet was filthy and there was no blanket on the bed, just a sheet.
I’ve stayed in many Super 8’s and this was the worst by a long shot. I understand a discount hotel, but I do expect a certain level of cleanliness in a super 8.
Don’t stay here

When you walk in the building all u could smell was Marijuana and when we got to our room you could smell it... i wont ever stay again because that smell gives me bad mirgines plus i cant breath

Our beds only had a top sheet and no comforters. Found one folded up on the metal rack on the wall and used it. My friend in the other bed used her tshirt as a blanket. The outlet under the lamp was unusable and the one that was on the wall was falling out of the hole in the wall.

There was no electric, the windows were broken and open to the outside. We didn’t stay 5 minutes and they refused to refund my money.

DO NOT STAY HERE! When we got there the whole place reeked of cigarettes and weed. When we got to our room it smelt even worse. There were stains on the blankets, stains in the toilet and shower. After being out all day and night at a concert, we came back to the room and there was no power in our room. We had to switch rooms at 1:30am. It was a terrible stay. Not clean at all.
