This hotel in Keystone was very close to the Mt Rushmore monument (2 miles). The rooms were large & the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty & provided several options. Restaurants & the Keystone boardwalk shops were within walking distance. Our room was on the 3rd floor which we were told is the quiet floor and it truly was. We loved our stay here.

So close to Mt Rushmore we did the site by day and then went back after dusk. Well worth using as a base for travels around the area. Pool was great.

We were disappointed that so much of Keystone was shut down when we visited over Spring Break, so we were delighted to stay at such a nice, comfortable hotel! The decor was on point, the kids loved the pool (though it was pretty chilly) and the breakfast was great.

One night family stay near Mt Rushmore, comfortable room, very pretty pool area, and variety of yummy breakfast options.

Spent a night at this hotel. The king size room we had was spatious. Just found the mattress on the soft side for our taste and very warm. Great breakfast spread. Good value. The girl that checked us in was very pleasant.

The property and the staff were great! What I have a problem with is that I made reservations through Expedia for 2 nights and on the morning of the second day I fell down and damaged my knee. The clerk waived the second night and told me to call Expedia and let them know that I had to leave because of a medical emergency. When I called Expedia and told them the person was very rude and told me that I would be charged a 75.00 cancellation fee. That was more than the room cost. I am not happy about Expedia!!

Amazing staff and fantastic amenities. My little ones loved the lobby. Despite it being off season, the experience was great. Thank you!

The property is located within a 3 min drive to Mt Rushmore. There is a buffett brkfast that is actually good, waffles, eggs, toast, bacon, milk and juice. It was a great start. There is a Sprockets within walking distance that provided beer and pizza, arcade games and entertainment. Great because it was open in the winter. A shopping area right down the road, but be prepared they close in the off season Dec to April or May. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the woodwork and natural native american vibes were amazing. The inside of the hotel were decorated beautifully and the warmth from the wood and carvings enhanced the experience.

Room was not clean. Bed was comfortable. Location was great for a visit to Mt. Rushmore. One thing to be aware of, only one dining option this time of year in town, and it closes at 8pm. It’s at an arcade, so pizza and wings.

Our stay was wonderful, I highly recommend this hotel! The front desk was so friendly and helpful thoughtful the whole stay. The hot breakfast served every morning was delicious and such a nice thing to have available! Our room was fabulous and quite big! We had a couch in our room and it was so nice to have someplace to lounge and watch TV and not just be laying in the bed.
The hotel is in a great location only 10 minutes away from Mt. Rushmore and 30 minutes away from Custer, it was perfect!

We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn in Keystone. We are staying off season and found many hotels are closed until May 2024.
Comfort Inn was open, even their inside pool and hot tub! The hotel is great - decorated so well, clean, quiet and welcoming staff at check in desk. Our room was a 2 queen and very comfortable and good sleep. Breakfast in the morning was delicious - - there was quite a variety (hot & cold cereal, waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, juices, etc) The prices were great and would definitely recommend this hotel!!

We arrived early for check in. Asked if it was ok to check in early. It is off season and there was barely 10 cars at hotel. There are 3 floors of rooms. They said no the room wasn’t ready. The vibe I got was that she was trying to teach us a lesson more than anything. We said ok understood and can we leave our luggage and we will return. We were told they do not hold luggage. This is the first ever hotel I’ve stayed at without this and I’ve stay at about 39+ nights a year. Again this wasn’t friendly and felt more of a “lesson” being taught. When we returned the staff was different and we were greeted much more warmly and friendly.
Disappointed that we were also out in room right by elevator and we heard it anytime it operated. Thankfully hotel was not full so not very bad. Would not recommend based on service staff. Out of out 10 nights in area this was only hotel we felt this way, every other one is SD area was friendly and great.

Everything was great. If I was going to make a complaint it was that the mattress could be replaced and the pool could be warmer. It was pretty chilly. The mattress wasn’t bad enough to prevent me from sleeping but it wasn’t great. Overall though it was a really nice experience.
