It was just a 1-night stopover but check in was efficient and the room was neat, clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was good.

Bathroom tub spout in room leaked for 2 whole days and floor boards were loose causing a tripping hazard. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, washer repairmen blocked vending machine area and worked past 10 pm and front desk clerk was never around to complain to.

My room smelled like urine. A staff member sprayed the walls with something which helped but by day two I had to continually spray the walls with Febreze myself.

Believe it or not, this is one of the nicest hotels in Gastonia, great restaurant right next to it and the beds are more comfortable than any other hotel I have stayed at near Charlotte costing up to $300 a night. No frills, just a good night sleep.

Clean, plenty of parking..only minor complaint was there was a noisy group directly upstairs from us, starting bedore 8am. We got in late abs wanted to sleep in some.

My son and I stayed 3 nights for a wedding. Our system was pleasant. Staff was super friendly and helpful!! Room was clean! Very clean and cozy. Beds were not real comfortable. Room was quite tiny but served it’s purpose.

Room was very clean, maid service daily. Only complaint was loud people above me...sounded like a stampede from 12-1a. I think you have to expect that at a Motel 6, though. Overall, would not hesitate to repeat.

Stayed here a couple of times as others gave it a 10 cuz it was new and it wasn’t top of the line but clean n comfy for somewhere to sleep but after last night not returning! There seem to be a family life bing in one of the rooms next to my room ..omg all night long the kids ran in the hallway, slamming doors, yelling! The room also had this strange smell I could tell if it was from next door or our room but almost like wet dog/stinky feet. We were exhausted from traveling so my husband was knocked out but I couldn’t sleep a wink…well it the the person we talked to this morning that turned us off from ever returning…he gave me a blank look and said Thank you ma’am n turned away like what I was saying about having a terrible night wasn’t his concern..no freaking apology the least one would expect. Eh now I know why Motel 6 was never a place I’d be staying

It is one of my favorite places to stay when I visit Gastonia! The rooms are clean, staff very nice & helpful. The rooms have lots of shelving for storage & a nice sitting area near the window. The single rooms are so cute! You certainly can't beat the price & pets stay free!!!

I cancelled my stay as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. I did not feel safe. I was staying alone and there were too many people hanging around, had car hoods open, coming and going. I think many lived there and not traveling like I was. I went somewhere else and had to forfeit my refund. Small price to pay for my peace of mind.

Overall a nice motel. Very small for a queen room. Only thing was the overpowering smell of cleaner. Way too much bleach used.

Room was small but well designed. Very clean. Quick overnight stay. Need to bleach their towels. Some noise from person walking above me upon arrival and very early when leaving.

The check in staff was not super friendly, our keys didn’t work and I had to go back down to the front desk. The entire floor smelled like cigarette smoke, even though the whole place is no smoking. When we got home later that night, the entire floor smelled like weed and there were random guys shirtless sitting on the floor in the hallway with loud music playing, on a Tuesday night.
