The room we were initially allocated was situated beside the kitchen extractor fan which was incredibly noisy. On request we were moved to a room in a quieter part of the hotel.

Our Club Room was a good size but really hot and stuffy and that was with the window open. There is a fan to use but noisy.
There was a permanent smell of dampness around the hotel.
Our experience at breakfast was poor. Selection of teas very poor as they were waiting on a delivery. Scrambled egg was solid,look warm and inedible as an example of the standard of poor quality of food
offered.
Overall found the staff to be disinterested and lacking in a passion for the job.

Centrally located with a selection of Aberdeen's best restaurants nearby. Staff could not have been more welcoming and friendlier. Full marks to an excellent team.

Had a lovely stay at the Copthorne hotel in Aberdeen. Only one criticism is that there was no hot water in morning for shower or bath.

Really nice hotel would 100% recommend. Staff are really friendly and very helpful make you very welcome. Will definitely be back again

Friendly staff. Room was lovely - very clean. Breakfast was very good. There was no lariat the hotel but there is a big car park just beside it that was very convenient to use. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Aberdeen.

Fantastic hotel for the price. Staff very friendly and it was done to a very nice standard. Only issue was lack of hot water for the shower/bath.

The welcome received from the receptionist was lovely. No card swiping for deposits or trying to get you booked in for dinner. The hotel hss a lovely warm, relaxed feel - despite being really large - and our room was lovely. Bar are really comfortable with friendly and efficient staff.

The staff at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Short walk from the downtown area with lots of food to choose from.

My room could have done with some modernisation and soundproofing but it was clean and tidy. The bar area is nice but the staff were under an immense amount of pressure serving a big group - they could have done with more help. Reception and housekeep staff were absolutely fantastic

Great central hotel, very comfortable. Christmas parties on both nights but didn’t disturb us. Easy walking distance for shopping, drinks out etc.

Our room was perfect for our one night stay over in Aberdeen. Breakfast was also good. There's always room for improvment in anything so a 9/10 for this stay.....

Standard Room, Bathroom had some broken tiles which should be replaced. Bed Headboard should be replaced as . well past its sell by date.

My room was very close to the lift. It was extremely noisy, and rooms seem to be very noisy. A Greek guy was in the corridor speaking to someone at 7:30 in the morning. Was hoping for a lay in(which I said at check in), before night shift.
Hotel would be great, staff friendly, if you aren’t on nightshift.

5 min walk to cafés and restaurants and Union Street . Nice big room. Good breakfast. Safe and fridge in room.

Quiet location and convenient. But no hot water. The switch on one of the bedside lights was not working. There was no shower gel in the bathroom.

Car parking really nearby is fantastic.
Room large and spacious, bathroom a bit dated and pillows are uncomfortable (caused a neck headache).
Breakfast adequate, food average, orange juice heavily diluted.
However, great price overall for the accommodation.

My partner and I stayed for three nights while I was getting over an operation. I must say all the staff especially Rachel went over and above to make things easy for us.

We stayed for 1 night, everything was just as expected although we had booked though a booking agent, and one of the reasons for choosing the Carthrope was on site parking. This wasnt the case but parking was off site and metered.

the location is good for central Aberdeen, but be warned that the hotel no longer offer guest parking, this is not a big issue as there is a multi storey car park over the road.

It was nice. I was happy with the servers and want to pay particular compliments to one of the servers, named Ipsha for her helpfulness and ability to make you feel comfortable.
