Facilities are old, however kept ok.
Food was good, better than other hotels (even pricier ones)
Someone in my party got a terrible stomach bug, we think from ice water at the bar.

I had one issue with one of the driver’s that had preference over other guests. I was waiting to be taken to my room and the driver took other guests that came after me which was very disrespectful

If you have any sort of food sensitivity or allergy, please be warned this resort is not equipped to take it seriously. Every single meal I would start by showing them in both English and Spanish on my phone that I have a food allergy. Every single meal, without fail, I would inevitably get my allergen served to me. It was extremely dangerous and made me overall feel uneasy. Also - the room had a lot of bugs and even a gecko due to the clearance on the door being too tall and the door leading straight to the outside. Overall, I will not be coming back.

I liked our maid. She was very through. and kept our romm very clean.
The bad part was where our room was. on the border of another resort, which is where they played the entertainment for that resort. It was very loud late at night.
The other was the Italian and Mexican where below average when it came to selection and Quality. The concierges were very pushy, which was not appreciated

Rooms need to be updated! I called a couple times to request coffee for the coffeemaker and sodas for my son it took 3 days for the staff to provide it. Everytime we will shower the water will run all the way to the hallway we have to put towels on the floor to try stop the water. The hotel lobby is beautiful, food was delicious, better than any other hotel I stayed in Punta Cana before. The Beach is beautiful!. My main problem was with the services.

Horrible time considering the fact the fact that we had to move to 4 different rooms on a 7 day vacation and we were finally moved to another resort because when we were moved to different rooms everyone of them had a faulty air conditioner and cockroaches. After moving us to a new resort we almost missed our flight because our transportation never picked us up, after we spent a lot of time confirming it with an employee who assured us we would be picked up at the new Resort We are also out 40.00 because we had to pay for the taxi after already paying to be transported to the airport. Food was mediocre at best drinks were watered down and tasteless. My husband also became ill with a stomach issue from the food and having faulty air conditioning. I definitely will not ever come back or recommend this resort There are much better options We did book through Expedia and they do not provide any any assistance if the Resort or transportation fail. I'm not sure why Expedia collects so much in fees.

When I checked in to this resort , I was given a room but the min I opened the door there was already 3 ladies were in the room . I went back to the hotel and he gave me another room . The AC not working And we changed room again . The restaurants has no AC at all . The Buffett is good . The French cuisine no good . The young lady her name is Narobi she is very good and efficient. The hotel shuttle from our room to the restaurant is very good

Worst vacation ever!!, first night my husband took a shower and the water ran all the way out into the hall, so he had to use towels to clean it up and to stop the water from running out the shower. The room was very hot and the fridge was not working well, the beverages were barely cold. Stayed in that room(1237) for 2 nights then we moved ourselves to another room(1304)after lobby failed to get air and fridge fixed as promised after my husbands complaint.The air in the second room was just a little bit better fridge still seemed not to work as well.Next day went well and was glad we had our room changed but had to keep ordering ice to keep our drinks cold.The next day we went to the pool upon returning to room our door was wide open with the toilet detach from wall (says they're doing work to bathroom downstairs)we than called front desk to put complaint in and asked for a supervisor to come to room to show what was going on as well; his name was Francis and said he would send complaint to lobby. Later on that day we're getting ready to have dinner the lights went out for 20 mins so we left out room to see if it was the whole resort but it was only our room! As we were going downstairs notice maintenance man coming out of electric room. We went to lobby and spoke w/ head supervisor ensured she would have all construction stopped but next morning was woke up by more noise. Next day lights went out again, We were all eaten up by bugs by end of trip! Food was not good Very sad

I want on a group with family on vacation. I had book a room with one bed for myself and husband, when I got there didn’t have my room ready at around 4pm they gave me a room with two twin bed with the air conditioner not working, it took them 2 days to move me to a different room that smelled moldy. It was supposedly a kids freely resort, but everyone was smoking around the kids area. Honestly the worst experience ever

Staff is amazing! My toilet kept clogging which I believe was a plumbing issue with the villa. The air conditioner could have been cooler. Need to air condition the restaurant that you make reservations for!

The beachfront is massive. Lots of room with plenty of palapas. They made an effort to clean up the sargassum but this year it is apparent it is impossible to keep the beach clean. Buffet food has improved over previous years to the property. Wristbands with keys made room access a breeze, never lose a key. This is a great hotel for families. Stay at the Bavaro and you have access to the Punta Cana and the Dominicana. Grounds are immense and beautiful. Don't like the upsell. We keep coming back here and don't bother to go elsewhere. Ocean is easily accessible.

It was very clean the staff was very friendly we had a concierge who was very helpful and treated us like family , his name is Fernando he booked our dinners and he make sure that we’re confortable.

There were 10 people in our group, my family with my 22 month old grandson. We first arrived the lobby is pretty, checking in and they tell us, don’t drink the water & there is no bottle water, you fill up these 2 glass containers and water stations that the water is filtered. Our rooms were not cleaned, or AC was broken changed rooms 3 times and towards the end of the week we were all sick!! Deathly ill. Do not go here
Then the place didn’t want to compensate us for having to move several times!!

I was staying there for 4 nights 5days. My room had a pool view. 2beds 1sofa bed. also there was a Bar next to the pool.
when you get there they are trying to sell upgrade room that has infinity pool and getting different bracelet. $100 more per night. if ocean view $500 more for staying. total $1000 He try to sell it.
Bathroom and bed was not clean enough. Smell damp in bedroom. that's why they put room freshener everywhere but I have fragrance allergy. I gets bad headache.
my experience of room service was bad. if you want room service give them 45 minute advance.

Pros: food was good. The buffet had lots of options and was always good. Steakhouse and Italian restaurant was good. Japanese was good also but they only give you small portions and it’s only chicken, steak, and shrimp with fried rice. We were only served a drink one time too. Not worth the time. Cons: everything else. It is very hot and humid here and you want a room with good A/C but they don’t have that here. We had to change rooms because the A/C didn’t work in one of them and they can’t fix it. The next room it barely worked and that’s all they can do about it. The restaurants don’t really have A/C either. So, you will be sweating everywhere you go except inside the coffee shop and marketplace store. We had 4 oceanfront suites and none of the A/C’s really worked. Will any of us come back “no” but we did have a fun time. Is it worth it “no”. It’s also not a kid friendly place and here in the DR there isn”t much to do for kids. My advice is go to Puerto Rico or Mexico. Both places are 10 times better than here. We made some good memories but none of us will be back to this resort or DR. The service is also really slow so be prepared for that. This place cuts corners in being cheap. That’s why they don’t have bottled water or fix anything except the landscape. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

Things I did not like, rooms need to be updated, needs more maintenance, our room had a strong smell of sewage coming from the shower drain, it was horrible, there was a smell of sewage in the nearby area too. For the price paid I would have expected more! There was a lot of repetition on the food served. Although transportation was provided within the complex for people staying on the resort to and from their rooms, sometimes drivers will pass you late at night and not even offer a drive to your room, also they need to use caution when driving people, personally they drive too fast and can cause an accident specially when there are children around.

We just got back from our trip and it was such a great time! The staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations. We want to personally thank Fernando, Jocelyn, Elizabeth and Alfredo for making our trip memorable! Thank you Fernando for being a good concierge. Thank you Elizabeth and Jocelyn for being great servers and always took care of us from lunch to dinner! Thank you for Alfredo for taking care of us at the beach everyday and sharing laughs! They went above any beyond each day for us! The resort was beautiful and loved all our options! The beach was gorgeous and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! The food was delicious! We were afraid that being an all inclusive, the food would be bland but to our surprised it was all amazing with flavor! Our only big complaint would be the sewage smell. We know it’s another country and things are different but that really should be addressed especially when the smell gets into the rooms. Besides that we still recommend this hotel to everyone and hope to be back again soon!

The service was good. The staff is very friendly and attentive always trying to do their best to meet your needs. The pool and beach are wonderful and the food is excellent, the rooms are very comfortable and the surroundings male you feel like you really are in the Caribbean, my family and I had a great time there!

This was an amazing vacation. Staff was so nice and waited on you hand and foot. Food was great. Such a beautiful property. I will be back. Would not change a thing.
