Good modern hotel, clean and reasonably priced. The room had no air conditioning, so it might not be so comfortable in the summer.

Lovely accommodation. Nice large room. Very clean. Friendly staff.

The hotel was fine, the bedrooms need a bit of updating, ie the bath needs replacing with a proper shower. There were some marks on the walls in the room and no plug in an asessible place .

Its a very nice spacious room in this hotel
Very clean throughout
Bed were very comfortable and the staff outstandingly pleasant and helpful
Only one downfall was you can hear the following room.
Overall i would go back

I was a solo traveller and given a room with an adjoining door to the room next door. It was very very noisy. Solo travellers really shouldn't be given a room with an adjoining door as the noise and interference levels are high.

Very nice and cool staff. Accommodating. Also extremely quiet and peaceful. I will stay there again upon my return. Thanks to all the staff I communicated with from day one: Catherine G. Boston, Massachusetts! US.

Comfortable stay, clean room but needs a little TLC.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Very good breakfast but again the dinning room could do with a little TLC.
6.0
The spa area, although had good facilities was very small and not very relaxing . The breakfast had a good variety although the cooked breakfast was the worst I have experienced at a hotel . Inedible. The coffee from the machine was dire and the fruit juices were just concentrated.

Staff are always so friendly. Especially the hard working bar staff. It was a busy Saturday night with 3 rooms of music. We were very grateful that our room was a good distance from the action and was fortunate to have a very quiet night. Will request the same room in the future.

Great hospitality, my first time in the UK. Was a great place overall.

Great room, modern facilities, a proper desk and chair for working at, good quality food in the restaurant.

I thought the staff were very helpful and efficient when checking in.The only thing i could fault was the rooms, they were looking tired and in need of a refurbishment. Other than that, we enjoyed our weekend stay.

The cleaness of the rooms and easy accessibility. Friendly staff.

Nice and tidy hotel ,

The room was comfortably but not special even though described as a premier room. What really let it down for me was the evening meal. I had slow cooked lamb shepherds pie and it was not nice.

Staff were extremely friendly, my mother was taken ill, and they pulled out all the stops, to attend to my mothers needs.

We stay here often and it is in a perfect position for us, when visiting family in and around Maidstone. Best of all they are very dog friendly. The property itself is showing its age a bit but not terrible. No AC in rooms, but fans are available from reception.

My first contact with staff was positive. Sadly, my next experience was far from pleasant. I booked a room for my friends under my name.
When I brought some laundry up for my friends I was not allowed to take it to them but the staff member I spoke to said she would take it to them. This never happened.
When I asked for an explanation I was told to stop being aggressive. Yep you're reading this correctly.
Then I was branded a racist. I asked how am I being racist? Never got an answer to that question.
A simple, I'm sorry I forgot to take the laundry to them might have been a better approach rather than making excuses.

4 star food hygiene on the door in says it all rooms very tired
2.0
The hotel is very tired
No bottled water in rooms
No tooth paste, No cotton buds etc
The cheapest low quality toilet paper
So in convenient not having a safe in room especially in a fairly bad neighbourhood

Our stay was what we needed. Quite relaxed and everything we needed
2.0
Everything was great apart from the fact that the room did not have air conditioning. With temperatures so high these days it's hard to have a decent stay without AC
2.0
Room was spacious and clean, ruined by noise every few minutes of lift which backed on to room. Sounded like drilling and humming. With the size and amount of rooms, obviously the lift was being used very regularly.
Room was lovely and bed very comfortable, with clean bathroom facilities
2.0
Rooms are bit dated and in need of a clean and paint..

Restaurant was very bad service had to wait over an hour for main meal, wasn't very nice chips were hard and burnt. Breakfast was nice apart from the fried eggs that were not cooked properly.
Dirty finger marks on most of the brass plates on door, we stay for 2 nights and they were not cleaned at any point in fact didn't see a cleaner at all.

Arrived early and asked if room was ready, receptionist must be clairvoyant as she said no check in is at 3.00 you can wait in the bar, all this without looking at the computer amazing!! Asked for a quiet room and was given the first room in hall way by stairs, every guest came past bidding everyone good night , the walks are paper thin with even plug switch switches being heard at 5.30am - not a good sleep will not stay here again

£18 for chicken and chips. Asked for a bottle of white wine. Bill was £54. They charged £36 for the wine in a billy basic, Alan Partridge type, hotel.
I only ordered the chicken as they had run out of both burger options. I was warned that if I wanted chicken it would take 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, a girl walked over to me and apologised for giving my chicken away to someone else.

The bar area and reception were lovely. The staff super and helpful. The room was really really dated. Limited sockets (no usb points) carpet worn and stained, paint work chipped and furniture dated, bed bases very basic. Clean bedding and good towels and a wonderful supply of hot water for showers. For some reason the radiators were on everywhere so the hotel was stifling.

Really had a good time hotel and staff very nice

It was poor for what we paid, the reception staff were lovely but overall the hotel was tatty and very expensive. The breakfast was awful and if we wanted room service we had to pay £5 each time so it’s a thumbs down from us
2.0
Check in was quick and very friendly and they reminded us that should we need anything, we only had to ring reception.
The room was cold but quickly heated up once we turned on the heating. The electrics are dated, in the fact that there was a double socket next to the radiator, behind the front door and one free socket behind the TV. This would make it difficult if you needed to work on a lap top in the room. I would have liked USB chargers by the bed.
An halloumi burger was ordered at a £5 room service charge, but was disappointing as the burger was very soft with all of the fillings.
Breakfast conististed of fruits, yogurts, cereal, a machine for different coffees, juices, toast, sunny side up eggs, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans, sausages, vegetarian sausages on demand, bacon, French toast, pastries and cakes. There were no tongs for the bread, pastry and cakes, which would have been better.
The spa was fully booked, so if you want a massage, I highly recommend that you book before your visit. Female changing rooms have 2 showers, which shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and 1 toilet. 2 heated tiled beds were on the upper level, and a pool, a small 4 seater steam room, a 4-6 seater sauna (4 strangers for personal space), and 3 showers. All were very nice and relaxing, however the pool space echos badly and there is no relaxing music which meant that some peoples conversations were irritating. There is no jacuzzi.
Rochester is a 15min drive away, for restaurants

One night stop over
Comfy bed and hot shower with very good spread buffet breakfast
