The hotel is lovely with large rooms, comfortable beds, kind staff, and good food. The restaurant selection is wonderful and very careful with food allergies. The kids club is best for very young children, but they offer kids' activities by the pool. The pools are warm, with a lifeguard stationed the full time. We will happily return again!

Was good. Lots of stairs and was hard to get a reservation

Checkin process was challenging as I booked 8 rooms four king and four double beds. I assigned names to these rooms so that couples got the king beds and friends got the double beds. I, as the host had to change rooms four times upon check in to get my guests the proper rooms which still didn’t occur.

I’ve been to this resort 6-7 times over the last 20 years. The rooms have not been updated for some time and show their age. Despite that, the rooms are incredibly clean. The resort is currently making upgrades — staff advise the Palladium is trying to get a higher star rating. The restaurants were all terrific. Armando at the adult pool was our go-to. In his absence Omar and Diego did an equally terrific job. The Palladium has always been consistent with everything.

The buffet and restaurants were great. The kids water park was great. The staff were amazing and helpful. Most of the shows were really good. Kids club was great.
Lots of things were broken in our room. The safe was broken every day. You have to wait for security to come and fix it so this item cost me 4 hours of my vacation. The bathtub drain was broken. No archery, No zoo, No crocodiles. No playground for children. If it rains there is absolutely nothing to do but drink. There is no shuttle from the airport so that cost us $160CDN. There and $75CDN to get back. The beds were like torture devices, very uncomfortable.

We loved our stay at the Grand Palladium Vallarta! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and we truly felt they were sincere in their efforts to make sure we had an excellent holiday. We really appreciated everything with our stay.

We were offered an upgrade when we arrived but the upgrade wasn’t much of an upgrade, the room had an odd smell, the view was beautiful from the balcony! We did switch rooms but there was no offer to refund or rectify the situation other than switching rooms down the hall to a room that ended up having cockroaches and being similar to all of the other rooms that our family was in! There was no shuttle service included with the all inclusive and ended up costing my family quite a lot in taxi fees to and from excursions! It was a very beautiful resort, with amazing food, and staff and we did enjoy our stay despite the small problems! The staff are so beautiful and kind and we were truly blessed to make connections with some of them!

The first thing they do when you're checking in is try to "upgrade" you to their "select" area. While it all seems good, unless you have kids with you, you don't want to be in that area. The "private" pool is filled with kids doing what kids do on vacation. The staff in that area is very accommodating but we didn't have kids or want that noise for our stay. They did move us to a quiet room but did not refund the extra we paid.
I think that they should make it very clear that it is not the Palladium family area but a FAMILY area. We would never have bought into the upgrade if they had describe it for what it is. Great for families with kids, not older adults on thier own.

This was our 3rd time to this resort. First 2 times were great but this time the food was horrific and the service was terrible. We both got horrendous food poisoning along with a few others we met during our stay. We will not be returning despite our love of the location and the wave out front and will be letting everyone we know how terrible this resort has gotten.

This was a great spot to bring our kids (6 months and 3 years old). The location wasn't too far from the airport, we hired a private shuttle because we went with other family with young children as well and the drive was pretty quick.
For the kids they had a shallow pool with 4 different sized slides and every day they had different events like a water balloon fight, pirate day, mermaid tails. The kids loved the mini club and the facility leaders / teachers were so great. They did activities like cookie decorating, bracelets, and pinata making. Every day the kids learned new Spanish words and kept asking to go back.
We were able to have a crib in our room and all the restaurants had kids menus and high chairs.
Lots of fruity slushy drinks for the kids as well.
The pools were warm and clean. We never had trouble finding chairs and it wasn't too crowded but did get busy during the day. The service staff were great, especially Omar and Carlos. We never had to wait for attention and the area was always tidy and clean. They had a snack bar around lunch time so you could get a hot dog or hamburger, fries and nachos. Lots of daily activities.
Roberto at guest services was attentive and helpful.
Alex and Antonio at the beach bar were so friendly and fast.
Food was great at the buffet. We tried most of the restaurants but honestly found the buffet food to be better. The view at the Mexican restaurant was amazing. And the staff (Monika, Carlos) so great.
Would stay again.

Excellent time, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The team at the Family Selection was incredibly friendly and helped to make our family (2 children) feel comfortable the entire time. Lots of walking to get around; but family selection was worth the extra amount.

The family select side was wonderful for kids. My granddaughter had a wonderful time and made many friends. Staff activities were great.

The property was nice enough. The staff worked hard and were welcoming. We had a couple of negative experiences that impacted our stay at this location including having money stolen from our room and getting food poisoning. Beyond that, it was OK. There are lots of stairs so if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you.

We spent 2 weeks at the Grand Palladium Resort and we enjoyed everyday. The options for meals were great and all the food was very good.
The staff are all very friendly and out going.
Roberto from customer service was exceptional, he made our stay wonderful!
The staff in the buffet were all very nice but Daniel Gutierrez and Arracdio went above and beyond!

Food great. Staff was great. Saw whales on the beach almost everyday. Felt very safe the whole time. Gated resort.
Avoid the people with the light blue shirts, always try to upsell you stuff.

I had such an amazing experience! The hotel offered everything I was looking for, amazing views, excellent food and drinks, entertainment every single night and excellent costumer service. We found two amazing people who we could tell love their work as they were always willing to help with our needs. Thanks Roberto (from costumer service) and Roy ( bartender from the swim up bar), you guys made our experience even better.

I liked the adult area and adult pool. The only thing I dis liked was all the steps and uphill and downhill sidewalks. Getting around this resort is more suited to younger people .Seniors and people with health issues like myself will have a difficult time getting around there. These issues are the only reason I won't be back.

The bar and wait staff were amazing! In particular, Omar and Roy from the main pool bar! By far our favorite people at the resort!
The room was old and was less than spectacular. They definitely should consider renovating the rooms but the rest of the resort and the food made up for that by far!
The beach was also incredible with a beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset.
We took our 6 yr old and almost 4 year old and they had the best time! We would consider returning for our next family vacation!

The beach is the best part of this hotel
Rooms are run down, food is sub par, kids club was ok for our 4 yr old but also didn’t look like a super fun place to hang out, overall, we were disappointed for what we paid and would not recommend

Very nice resort with lush gardens and lots to choose from in the buffet.
All staff were friendly and helpful. Only observation is that the rooms were damp. They need to upgrade their ventilation system. We were a group of 12 and had a memorable stay.

This resort was probably nice when it was first built. It’s a beautiful small beach, but the buildings were all rundown. In need of a of of upkeep. Food was average. Staff was nice. Decks small. We paid for panoramic view and it was partial ocean. You cannot sit on the decks they are so small and if you did you wouldn’t be able to see over the edge. Pillows were lumpy. Bathrooms falling apart. The adult pool was dirty and the music horrible and loud until midnight. Too much when your room faces that way. Main pool was nice. Staff was nice.

Everyone was so friendly. I loved the resort and the feel of the resort. It was clean. It is a little tired looking, especially in the bathrooms, and we did have a problem with brown water for a few hours one day, but overall, a decent place. If I could suggest one thing that was an inconvenience, the location. Mostly because UBER will not come pick you up because it is too far away. You had to rely on Taxis which were 50 dollars each way if you wanted to go to Puerto Vallarta. I wish the resort had better transportation to and from the airport and to and from Puerto Vallarta. Maybe an hourly shuttle service?

The beach is a spectacular little oasis of sand, shallow clear waters, and at one end you will find fantastic waves for surf or boogie board.
You can walk to the south beach for 1 km.to get excercise. There are many palapas that provide shade and several comfy loungers.
There is now a pickle ball court that we found well maintained.
The jungles around the property are beautiful and filled with an array of tropical birds.

We loved everything. The staff was so helpful to us when our son got sick overnight! The kids had so much fun at the mini club. Overall everything was wonderful. My daughter is celiac and we had good options for her diet. It was sometimes hard to communicate the need for glute free food.

I’m really sad I had to pay 300 $ US to gâte a room I had already ask Expedia I wanted ! I wanted to be in the T1 section and I told them on the booking . Then they booked us in T3 really far and we had to pay 300 $ us to get a room in the T1 section . Might not booked with Expedia next time if I don’t get that refund . Thanks

We are just checking out after 8 days at this resort.
The staff is extraordinary, they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.
Many, many thanks to Rafael, the F& B manager, Oscar, Antonio, Zefferino, Cynthia, and to the entire staff for being so kind, friendly, and responsive.
The food at the Nest was excellent, and the food at the buffet was decent every day.
We would highly recommend this hotel for its impeccable services and for its excellent staff.

I’ve stayed in a few all inclusive hotels, the food at the buffet and some restaurants was average at best. Only one restaurant has great food. The buffet was disorganized with the service and food was ok. Nothing amazing. The gym had old equipment, the towels were rough, the tennis court was dirty with lots of leaves and the net was dismantelling. The pool was great for the kids, some beach equipment old and beat up.

They were all about service. They followed up when there was a request to make sure it was fulfilled. They were kind they were generous. There's many wonderful places to eat. The employees are amazing and helpful. The pools and the grounds are clean and gorgeous and tranquil. Cannot say enough things about this property very reasonable. Isn't it all fun things to do? And ask me if you need a unbelievable. Captain for snorkeling whale watching dolphin watching very reasonable fernando

We have been in all inclusive resorts many times but this time we tried bit lower budget, though expedia rating shows 8.0 this resort cant be more than 4. We booked in peak time thinking every resort puts their best.. there are several issued:
1. This property has almost zero entertained programs to keep you engaged.
2. Pathetic and very very poor quality food.
3. Same goes for drinks, cheapest wines of the world they serve.
4. Long queue to book restaurant.. well discounted for peak time.
5. Rooms are dirty full of mosquitos.
6. Worst part of it, one morning we were sleeping and the water starts dropping from ceiling!!! Nothing can be disgusting than this.
7. Adult pool is joke, hardly can fit 20 people.
You never want to go to this resort irrespective how cheap you get.
