We had a great stay. The place was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are small but have everything you need.It was close and easy to get to the historical downtown district. We would stay again.

I stay in a motel twice a week. Have stayed in many in this area and have found this Sleep Inn is by far one of the cleaness and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and was very pleased with the room. The sheets were tightly tucked and the shower and sinks were white gloove clean. Walking distance to reasturants was also a plus.

The front staff was useless. They were on their phones the whole time and charged me for housekeeping without telling me there was a charge and then they never came to clean. Then our room just was not clean feeling, the walls were dirty and a stain on the carpet was gross. When I asked the front to refund the charge for the housekeeping since they never came they said they would and never did. I asked again when I left but never got an itemized bill to show what they charged me for in the first place. I tried to by water from the vending machine and it was out so I asked the front desk (two people both on their cell phones with ear buds in) if they had any bottles of water I could have and the one girl looked up from her phone and said there was another vending machine on the third floor. The other guy just went back to his phone. We were staying on the first. That was pathetic. The breakfast was extremely lacking and and even the bread for toast was stale. There is not good lighting in the back where you park and it feels unsafe. I will never be back.

First the nice the bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. The bad they no longer do early check in, i can understand if the room isn’t ready or they are full but this was not the case. Their policy is no early check in period. They literally had our key card ready on the desk and we sat in the lobby, in front of the desk, from 2 till 255 when i finally asked again if I can please just go to my room now we really need to get ready for a wedding. The bathroom was tiny and the shower temp switch didn’t work properly. If you turned it to far towards hot the water went cold and there was only a small little sweet spot where luke warm water came out. The room had an odor of bad cologne and the hall smelled like weed.

Most notable thing was probably that the door lock on the room was broken m, and when asking the management for it to be fixed or at least get a room with a working lock, it seemed to be troubling to them.

Great room and comfy beds! Crashed after buddies show at the Pour House (Great Venue!) and glad hotel was close. Best part was the friendly gal who checked us in at 2 in the morning! Very sweet and fun too.

Good, clean, great beds. Wife prefers a bathtub, but walk-in shower works for me. OBTW, flickering light bulb above sink was mildly annoying (but they probably didn't know about it....and I forgot to tell them ...until now). We'll be back!

The night clerk charged me twice for a room I paid for online and then it wasn’t even the room that I requested so we had to move to our reserved room. Got up the next morning went and got breakfast put my plate down to wash my hands come back and roaches have attacked my plate. I will not stay at this Sleep Inn again I’m currently waiting to get my money back that I was wrongly charged

Didn't realize this was a 2 star property before I booked but it lived up to its rating. Rooms were ok, the property itself felt very old and "worn out". It was o.k. for a short stay as we didn't spend a lot of time at the property, but this is not a location or property to experience "Charleston charm"

They post that breakfast ends at 9:30. It does not .. they block it off at whatever time they want to start cleaning .. I rushed down at 9:13 & shop was closed.. big fail

From checking in to checking out, it was easy, relaxed, delicious breakfast. Clean pool area. Pet friendly. Grassy area's with dog friendly poop station that was extremely clean and convenient. This is only 2 miles from the Ashley River on Highway 17. It is the closest place to stay near Charleston. No parking fees. Clean fresh linen. Soft pillows. I was very impressed by this hotel. It was perfect for us and our family.

The only parking lot located in the back of the hotel was VERY dark, and as a female traveling by myself I felt unsafe. There were people sitting in the dark in work trucks and regular cars, so it felt eerie. When I was unpacking my car to enter the hotel I felt like I had to make a mad dash to the entrance. If there were more quality lights in the parking lot I would have felt a little more at ease. The elevator at this location was very old and you could feel it rattle while it made concerning noises. There was a bad odor on the first floor and it kind of smelt like mold and stale cleaning solution. The staff was nice and answered the phone when I called them from my room. The AC worked properly, and the towels and sheets in my room were fresh.

The gentleman who checked me in was not very nice or informative. He didnt really speak to me, but rather his coworker. He pushe the room key to me and I had to ask him where my room was located,(I am disabled and previously requested ground floor.) He abruptly said, "4th floor." I looked a liitle troubled and he grunted and pointed at the elevator. I asked where to park. He said, "anywhere. " which turned out to be all the way to the back of the property. He didnt bother to tell where the ice macines were or that the ones on the 2nd and 4th floor dont work. Also, electric outlet at bsthroom sink didnt work. He was just very rude.
