The Holiday Inn Express was awesome!!!! The room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The bathtub and shower were great. The bathroom had Dove Hand Soap and Body Wash and Lotion and Shampoo and Conditioner.

This Holiday Inn Express in Decatur, Georgia near the Emory University, is truly a gem that many might overlook when booking their stay. But don't! The site is conveniently located and serves as a great headquarters for whatever you are in town to do. The hotel is super clean and inviting from the minute you walk up to it. The rooms are spacious and spotless. Love the country-style continental breakfast that is served each morning and overlooked by the nicest hospitality staff. A big shout out to Ron, Leslie and Asia who oversee the front desk and are ever so welcoming and who are very people orientated. The women who clean the rooms are also very friendly.

Pleasantly surprised, property was very clean and service was great. Team at checkin we're so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and comfy. Breakfast was more than just the basic stuff. Very nice spread.

Nice and clean, very good sized room. Staff welcoming and helpful. I walked 5 minutes to get a great meal among several different options available. Breakfast was good and the dining area well kept. I'll definitely use this hotel again as location is perfect for why I visit Atlanta

Convenient location (walking distance to Publix is nice), extremely friendly and attentive staff, spacious room, very clean and quiet. The gym is small but adequate. I would definitely stay there again!

The stay was okay. The lady that was there when we arrived was not very friendly. I think charging an extra 30 dollars to check is unfair due to the fact that you are not even getting a full day. If you check at 3:00 pm and check out it is at noon that"'s not a full day. Check out should be 3:00 pm the same as check -in that will be a full day. The ladies doing breakfast was really friendly.

The hotel was close to Emory. The check-in and check-out associates were lacking a lot in customer service. We were not actually greeted, instead had to tell them we had reservations to check in and that we were checking out. Never a thank you! So sad that employees can't/won't be appreciative of the fact they have a job.

I liked the location. It was easy to get to needed shopping areas. I feel like the price of the hotel was not worth it. I believe it should have been closer to the 80 to 90 range a day. I wasnt dazzled it was just another room but i wish i was . The staff was nice and got me into my hotel as early as possible and the cleaning crew was great. The breakfast was good but maybe more cheese for the omelet would be a nice touch. Sophia did a great job cleaning my room and gwendolyn had great hospitality. If im.in the area again and prices are lower i may be back.

RE: what was unsafe. There is a section of the parking area that at night isn't lighted and is further away from the entrance. There are a few signs to suggest you park at your own risk. This should be assessed and addressed. Otherwise great experience at facility.

Nice, spacious, fully renovated room, and very clean. Unfortunately housekeeping did not latch the door one day so our stuff was vulnerable to loss (luckily it was OK). Front desk attendant offered some HI points for the error but that does no good when renting through third party like Hotels.com. Great stay otherwise and a walkable location.
