Music in lobby/ parking garage so loud I thought we were nextdoor to a bar come to find out it was the garage music. No one was there to check us in we were behind another group and saw no one for 20 minutes so it took about 25 minutes to check in. The location was kind of strange but felt safe enough and had food in walking distance

Wall are thin, floors are thin don’t stay here if you need sleep you will hear the hallways, floors and walls. No bed bugs yet after checking everything.

Holiday Inn express in Redwood City is an amazing place to stay. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. I have stayed there numerous times over the last 8 months and never disappointed.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and even though it doesnst have the most modern designed rooms, the beds were very comfortable and the room was very quiet. The breakfast has a nice variety of items to choose from and the delicious cinnamon rolls that Holiday Inn Express is known for. It's located in a convenient location and within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and a quick drive to Target and other stores. Travel to Stanford was within 15 - 20 minutes even at "rush" hours. We will definately stay at this Holiday Inn Express again!

This property had water damage to TWO rooms, and they told me that mine was one of them. They put the blame on Expedia, saying I should have been notified by Expedia ... I was not notified. They gave me ZERO help in finding another hotel.

The customer service was beyond amazing. I haven't even received such customer service even in high end hotels. The daily breakfast was very good, even the service during breakfast was impressive. The only down-fall would be our sofa bed which my children slept on. The bed within the sofa felt like it was going to fall apart.

My daughters and I stayed here and I felt safe the entire time. All staff we interacted with were polite and helpful if needed. Amaya, the night clerk, was amazing. The property was clean. Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was enough to send you on your way with something in your stomach. Overall a good stay and I’ll stay again if I’m in the area.

I requested a handicap room I was in a wheelchair.
Their handicap room had a bathtub which was no use to me at all.
I went there to stay because I was having surgery a Kaiser in Redwood City there.
Then they gave me a seat to sit on in the tub, but I see it was too big for the tub. It was just a disaster..
I should’ve been informed that this was not a walk in shower.
Very disappointing it was a hardship for me.

Our room was very clean and tidy. They provided bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. The bathroom also had bottles of lotion and hand soap near the sink. The toilet paper and Kleenex had bows tied with the toilet paper and Kleenex. The bedsheets had a very high thread count which made the sheets feel very luxurious. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner/heater were easily adjustable. The hot breakfast had good options: eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, juices, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, oatmeal, pancakes, different kinds of breads, different kinds of dry cereal, yogurt, and milk.. It was a nice stay. Only downside was that it was on a main street; however, our room was in the back of the hotel, so we didn't hear any noise.

The manager or guy in the parking lot, has a terrible attitude, he approaches people with no manners at all.

This is a terrific place to stay with a car or transportation. Well maintained and excellent staffing at every level. Its only drawback is that the location discourages walking in the immediate area.
