Amazing customer service all the way around from the minute I got there

There were streaks all over the mirrors and very dusty in our unit lots of streaks on the mirrors and the sliding glass door and on the TVs whoever is the cleaner needs to go over their work before letting go for occupancy.

Nothing negative to say! Our entire stay was amazing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Resort itself is beautiful and has so much to do! Rooms are very nice! Beds are very comfortable. Will absolutely be coming back!

There were some questionable people here. I know it was the ones that did the tour and got the free rooms otherwise they would not have been able to stay here. It was so loud at one pool that we left and went to another. It was one big group of yelling and hollering and the kids jumping on your head practically with no parent control.

I love the place . But did think i would be pushed into a time share. Which i was not there for at all or not into all. I was there for vacation to get way and to remember my 2 sisters that passed away 1 year ago. They would want me to have fun.

So outdated but charging top $ for every service, including day pass at the pool ?! Checkouts at 10am, and not offering late checkouts. Doors automaticly lock out at 10am, so if you dont leave by 10.01 you are stuck until security comes. That takes 30 min or more even tho they are constantly driving by on golf carts. No room service. But they dont tell you that when book room or when you check in.

I enjoyed my stay at Westgate. A few things that could have been better was the pool side bar being open later (closed at like 6) and a theme park shuttle (they said they no longer shuttle). Nice bed, pool, clean , good amenities, restaurant/starbucks on site.

Property was comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful sunsets.
Enjoyed the Mardi Gras festivities near the shops. Ed from the engineering department was awesome, even though the firepit didn't get fixed. Food and beverage prices seemed high.

Very clean, helpful staff. Wonderful stay, would highly recommend.
Only problem was the one time our keycard stopped working and we couldn’t get into our room. Security came within 10 minutes and solved the problem!

Parking sucks and check in was the most overstimulating experience I’ve had in a long time. The staff was incredibly sweet.

The resort quality is very good, room was lovely, the grounds are lovely, etc. In that regards, I'd probably give a 5 star rating, however check in took over an hour as they tried to sell time shares. This made us late for the concert we were in town for and put a bad taste in our mouths, as we were not aware of this pretense and do not like unsolicited sales pitches. Parking is also limited and the resort is huge so we had several long, confusing walks in the rain, in high heels, to find our room after driving around for 15 minutes looking for parking - and we're pretty savvy with travel/navigating cities, etc. It really was inconvenient when we were there for a quick stay and basically to sleep. There are also charges for most amenities, including the gym, which was unexpected and excessive. If you are looking for a convenient, traditional hotel, I would not recommend. I would also prepare for added expenses beyond the price you pay online.

My family of 3 & I enjoyed our 5 day stay @ Westgate Lakes. There are quite a few things to do at the resort, we only participated in the arcade due to our theme park schedule. The food options, were fairly good. The marketplace is nice, however, we felt some items were overpriced. For example, ear drops were priced at $17.00. We did have a minor issue regarding with housekeeping but it was easily addressed with the manager and she took care care of it promptly (Thanks again). We were surprised & appreciate that the mattresses were comfortable. Which is nice when you spend a day walking! We also like how they're are two doors. It felt a bit safer.
As for the not so great would be the garbage setup, the concerige area only has pool towels, and if you have noisey & conceded neighbors, you will hear them. Luckily it was only a half day having to deal with that. All & all Westgate Lake Resort & Spa is a nice & decent place to stay!

Loved the 7 pools. Kids loved going "pool Hopping". Did not like that the Waterpark was not included. We have a family of 9 and $20 per person for that tiny Waterpark isnt worth it. Had it been included with our stay ( like the other Westgates we stayed at) we would have stayed on site but with a military discount it was cheaper to go to Aquatica and they had way more slides and things for the kids to do. 3 other families also went to Aquatica and we all said the same thing that we would have stayed at the westgate Waterpark if it was included.

the room i got wasn’t like the picture & the water park is not like the pictures its a kids pool only goes to 3feet. they dont have 24/7 room service like it said it would but they give u stuff so u can clean it

Wonderful property right in the middle of many Orlando attractions. Rooms were clean and spacious. Loved having a Jacuzzi tub in the room.
