Location moderately uncomfortable; nice staff; faucet was hard to manipulate; the tub water was dark, as if rust from the pipes had bled through… taking a bath was out. No screen after opening the window on the second floor. The continental breakfast was minuscule … Worst of all, the orange juice was bad. I had the misfortune to take a massive swallow before I realized that and was sick all day! I reported it to the front office.

The minute you walk through the front lobby you feel as if you were in an ashtray! The cigarette smell is the fragrance that greets you! Never again!!

Worst experience ever. Towels were dirty, sheets and blankets with holes, the bathroom was never cleaned and the carpet was never vacuumed. The outlets were loose and a majority of them didn’t work. The front desk service was absolutely horrible and disinterested in the complaints we filed about the room, didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience.

This was a disgusting…nothing like picture on Expedia, smelled, broken light in bathroom , hair in sink, broken stopper in sink, carpet burns and cigarette burns in comforter in non smoking room, dust thick everywhere, huge water stains on the ceiling- only bright spot was gentleman who checked us in- will never stay in this chain or use Expedia again!

First off they charged my account while we were driving there at 1pm. Check in is 3pm. The bullet proof glass around the clerk was concerning. The clerk tried telling me they didn't have a room yet. It's 145pm. But they charged me. He saw my husband and changed his mind. They then again charge my debit when we check in. Now i have 2 charges and he said one would fall off in 2 to 3 days. Are you kidding me. He told me this is how it works. No it doesn't. The sheets and blanket had cigarette burns on both beds. Even on the tub.Going back to the hotel after the concert we get stopped because our license plate light was out, and the cop tells us it's a very unsafe hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE

The heavy smell of cigarette smoke residue hits you as soon as you walk into the lobby. Not good for anyone with respiratory issues. It’s unfortunate that you chose financial gain over a child adults and senior citizens with respiratory issues. The cigarette smoke linger in the hallway so when you walk out of your room, it’s you and your face. Also, the cigarette smoke seeps inside the the non-cigarette smoker room. I couldn’t enjoy my stay due to the heavy cigarette smoke residue. Although the hotel stay are voluntary but you should put a sign up saying smokers only. I will not recommend this hotel chain, unless you revise your smoking policy.

We stayed for 2 nights. The moment we went inside I was immediately uncomfortable. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe and the East coast of the US. I have never felt unsafe. I didn't want to stay the second night. Someone was trying to get in our room the first night. The night manager was right on it, so I was very grateful for that. People were screaming at each other in the middle of the night. The cleaning left a lot to be desired. While most areas were clean, oddly enough the walls in the bathroom were not, and around the door knob was very dirty. The elevator had someone's dirty clothes in it, they laid there for almost 24 hours. Also the vents in the elevator were very dusty and need cleaning. Clearly the owners are trying to clean the place up. People are living there in the hotel. They have a lot of work ahead of them. If you are looking for a place to just sleep, it will do. I wouldn't say again. I wish the owners the best of luck getting that place cleaned up and cleaned out. And the breakfast is good for coffee and toast. Not much there.

Was double charged for the stay, once before I checked in (despite being clearly told when I booked that I would not be charged before checking in), and once after. Spoke to front desk about it and was told I would be called by a manager to resolve the issue and have heard radio silence since. Front desk also tried to talk around the issue and was less than helpful for most of the interaction. Terrible customer service all around. Place was generally in disrepair as but you get what you pay for.

The breakfast was SUPER limited. The room wasnt finished being cleaned when I checked in after 3 and rushed to get there because I was told if I didn't I would have to pay a different rate because my reservation would be canceled, half the hotel was "smoking" which made the halls smell like cigarettes, I wasnt given my deposit back because I forgot to stop at the office to get the cash back and "it cant be put back on the card on file right away".

Air conditioning did not work. Unit was falling off wall. When we spoke to the front desk he said it was the best he could offer. So we checked out right after checking in and didn’t even get offered any type of refund or apology.

The window was severely cracked. The TV and phone didn't work. The carpet, drapes, and walls were filthy. No tissues and only 1/4 roll of toilet paper. Bathroom was dirty. Not sure when the last time someone entered that room to clean!!!

The carpets in all areas including our room were filthy..to the point that we kept our flip flops on while walking around our room. The property is very outdated. The water in the shower was brown and took a long time to clear (but never completely). Our toilet made noises all night coming from the fill tank. We stayed 2 nights and were visiting family in Pembroke so we really only slept there. The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and when I asked for the fruit basket to be filled the manager was very happy to fill it. All this being said….would I stay there again…probably not…but for 2 nights we made due with the accommodations. I would not stay there for longer or with a small child that would possibly be crawling around on the floor. The managers/workers (we saw 3) were all pleasant and helpful.

I read the reviews and remained optimistic. I arrived with my two teenage daughters ( their first concert) just in time to witness a crackhead being thrown out of the hotel. We got to our room and the door key card didn't work. When we finally got in the room it reeked of cigarette smoke, the bedspreads and sheets were covered in cigarette burns and the towels and bathroom left a lot to desire. 4 times in total the room key did not work. There was more activity after 1am than there was all day. The chambermaid actually entered our room at 9am and turned on the light. I confirmed we were there, sleeping and she left, leaving the door open. Promptly at 11am, there was a loud knock at the door announcing checkout. Scary place.

Luckily we only stayed the one night after a concert, because the smell was terrible, the room was trash, and the overall conditions seemed unsafe. We had holes in walls, burn marks on the blankets and floors, there was an outlet by the bed that was completely ripped off the wall to the wires were hanging out. I ran the sink water to brush my teeth and brown sludge came out. Not to mention the hotel location seemed a bit sketchy, as there was a cop circling the parking lot late that evening. Only plus was that the beds and pillows were somewhat comfortable.

While the front desk clerk was certainly friendly and processed us quickly it was unnerving to walk into the lobby and see both sides of the front desk encased in what I assume is bullet-proof glass. My plans for the night did not work out so I needed to find a quick place for us to crash for the night. Our room needed a serious make-over from the HGTV Property Brothers. I was very happy to leave.

Checked in around 10PM. Front desk associate was great. Got up to the room, television did not have the HDMI cable plugged in so it was not operational. Cigarette burns in the bedding added to the ambience. Still got a decent nights sleep. Contential breakfast could have had a few more options.

This hotel is conveniently located. When we arrived, there was a couple out front smoking and arguing. In the lobby, the counter is surrounded by plexiglass. Not we just got through a pandemic plexiglass, but the cash register could get robbed plexiglass. Check-in was easy. I was a little sketched out by the piles of boxes (some kind of delivery) in the public area and the smell of smoke in the lobby, but I figured the smell was from the couple outside. We had a non-smoking room, so I thought it would be ok. It was not. The room was super small and cramped and reeked of cigarette smoke. The windows did not open and looked down on an interior courtyard anyway. I literally sat with my shirt over my nose to look for other hotels on my phone because there was no way I’d be able to breathe that smell all night (allergies). I found another room, we carried our suitcases downstairs and I explained to the reservationist that I had to leave because of the smell. Then the best thing happened: he completely refunded the room, which I was not expecting, but appreciated deeply. We were there less than an hour, but he still could have charged us for the night. If you don’t mind the smell of smoke and just need a place to crash, I’m sure this place would be fine. I appreciate the integrity of the person running the place and it is convenient to the highway, shopping, and restaurants.
