Pool and hot tub was very nice. Need bigger pillows on the bed. The bathroom had some dirt on the floor, but overall a good stay.

We have stayed here multiple times. The only thing I would say is the breakfast is pretty normal but could be better. It's easy and convenient to get to Des Moines.

Room was very clean. Only issue was the toilet was veey wobbly that nearly made one fall using it. Staff was very friendly

First, the only positive is that the desk employees were very nice. As far as the hotel, the bathroom was dirty and smelled bad, the exterior side door lock to the building was broken, and we found a bug crawling on the bedsheets. We did not stay. I can see where they are trying to remodel, but not even close.

Haven’t stayed at an AmericInn in a decade. This location was great. Front desk staff was friendly and the room was clean. Price is reasonable.

Property was great. Very clean! Staff was great and very helpful! Breakfast had great options and was really Good. Breakfast was open 6-10. The pool and hot tub are large. Great spot to stay! Parking lot was large.

It was a beautiful hotel and Mike at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was figuring out the tv channels but it was late so we didn’t worry about it.

The room was very clean and adequate towels for our stay. Breakfast was warm but would have liked to see other choices for bread other than white. Maybe sourdough or English muffins. Door jam latch got stuck but attendant at front desk worked his magic and loosened it so I could get back into the room.

Everyone in our party experienced symptoms of Chlorine Gas Poisoning. The front desk seemed undisturbed to find out kids were coughing and throwing up. The symptoms stopped within 15 minutes of removing them from the area. Such a terrible situation.

Was very disappointed that no one came to refresh the room. We were there for three nights and the wastebaskets were full and no refills for coffee in the room. The first 2 nights the desk gave us coffee. The 3rd night no one came to the desk. When we checked out we were told they only clean every 3 days but if we asked, they would have come in. This information would have been good to know when we checked in.

It has a pool and hot tub but they are grimy and the don't clean the deck, pick up soiled towels from the night before , or clean the pool bathroom until who knows when. There are never any clean towels in the pool. The pillows are so old and hard thrift stoor pillows are better. on the other hand Houskeeping staff keeps the room spotless

The team here are so sweet! Very helpful!!! The hotel is very clean, and the amenities are amazing! This is the best hotel my family and i stayed in, in awhile!!!
