This place knocked it out of the park. Great activities, great service, we arrived late and the desk was beyond friendly. It was too cold to enjoy all of the awesome amenities, but this place is a must!

Staying at the Hyat Regency in Cambridge, MD is always what we expect it to be. A relaxing getaway that is still close to home. The environment is calming and the staff are excellent at providing service and courtesy. This is a family friendly place, so expect to wave and smile at todlers and see awkward teens as they engage in family activities. The rooms are very nice. This is a place to either relax and spend time to yourself or focus on and enjoy your family. It would be even that much more amazing if I actually knew how to play golf....

It’s overpriced as a resort because the amenities are not there. One restaurant open and the food is mediocre and there’s not really anything else to go to without driving at least twenty minutes away. Same for any shopping or other activities. Most resorts I’ve stayed at offer much more.

The food was delicious! We just go back and it was cold but a great getaway.

Everything was as expected. From the time of check-in to checkout, the experience was outstanding. There are plenty of activities for the little ones, and there are several stores and restaurants in driving distance. I was surprised at what was available during the winter, and I want to see what is available during the warmer months. I highly recommend Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay for an outstanding family friendly experience!

The propert and rooms are very nice. The front desk staff was good and helpful. The restaurant staff was poor and very overpriced. For breakfast we waited 20 min, got seated at... not a table. It was a sofa and chair with a coffee table. For 20 min no one waited on us. We had to get someone to come over. Forgot about us again. They ended refunded our breakfast cost which was good. But the service was horrible.

Very few dining options at this time. Food service was poor and food was not great. My friend asked for iceberg lettuce in her salad and it came out with shredded lettuce. Waitress kept disappearing, even after we asked for our check,

Our neighbors where loud till about 2 am, besides that everything was good the lady that checked us in is the same one that checked us out and she was great

I liked the property, but didn't like your misleading description of the room! It listed a sofa bed for the room I reserved. However, the staff informed me this was not the case and needed to pay $40 additional.

No vending machines or food/ drink services after 10
Seems a 5 star hotel should have that available
4th floor machine nonfunctional and "out" of everything- front desk said "bar is open for snacks- and it was not.

This is my firth year celebrating our child’s birthday in this hotel! What a fabulous place.
The staff make you feel like home and the vibe is beyond a hotel can offer. Just extraordinary!
We will be there next year again if not sooner…

We were able to get a great price and enjoy the activities in Cambridge on a holiday weekend. Great family fun.

If we had not gotten an incredible discount to a variety of means. I would've been royally irritated at the price I would have had to pay. The place is not bad but it is definitely dated they need some upgrades. The housekeeping staff was awful. The front desk had about as much personality as my socks. There were bellmen apparently in the building, but only came out to ask us if they could help us once we had already done what we needed to do. The posted price on the door was $640 per night, but that's always an exaggeration. I think the regular advertised price is about $350+. Paying even that posted price was way out of line for what we got. Truly, the only real bright spot was a very personable waitress at the downstairs bar/grill, who worked to help each person for whom she was responsible. She deserved and got a great tip!

This is a very relaxing property with extremely nice staff. I really enjoyed my stay there. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is family friendly with tons of activities for kids ranging from mini-golf, bounce houses, and a good variety of indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs. Last not least, the view of the bay is priceless. Cant wait to be back there!

We liked that the resort is very easy to get to, it's well maintained, it’s ambience and the staff.
We did not like that our hotel room bathroom was very dated, considering the cost.

All of the accommodations were great but the crowd in the hallways late night was terrible! Called front desk several times and stepped to the hallway a couple times and no silent night. Hotel staff should have been more aggressive to ask patrons to respect the peace and comfort of all guests.

Property was very nice. Bedding was a disappointment. Sheets were constantly coming off, lack of comfortable blankets didn't fit into the level this hotel portrayed. Bed felt as if I was sleeping on sheets only. Room service being delivered in paper bags with boxes took away from what I would have expected from this high end hotel. I tried to make reservations for the Thanksgiving dinner by calling the front desk and the phone was never answered. I made them thru the Hyatt main line and thought I was having a buffet and it was not. The dinner info was unclear.

Only negative is the parking.

I loved the customer service, that they are pet friendly, have many gluten free options and it’s a pretty property to walk around or sit outside and enjoy the views.

I've been going to the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge MD for over 12 yrs and it is always enjoyable. It is a unique location right on the Choptank River and very serene and relaxing. I go alone but there is a lot to do for families with kids. The only negative for me is that since Covid the food options are not as good as they use to be. The dining room was closed again this time so only onsite option was bar food which is not what I was hoping for and even at that it is rather indifferent bar food. There was no communication with me prior to the visit or at check in that the dining room would be closed which I think they should tell you. As it turned out the 2nd night, two of the main offerings that were on the dining room menu were available at the bar but I only found this out by accident when I commented to the bartender about my disappointment. In general these days it seems like they are a little indifferent to their dining options which keeps this property from being a 5 star hotel. Otherwise it is terrific!

Our stay was a vacation close to home.

The property is very nice, and well kept. The only thing I would make a suggestion to change, are the two little bridges you drive on when driving up to the hotel. They are getting rickety, and a board popped up while another vehicle was driving over it, and I was behind them.

The Hyatt Regency is wonderful. This was my second stay here, and I plan to return 😊. The rooms are spacious and luminous, well-appointed, spotless; the ceiling fans are a welcome touch. You can quench your thirst and sate your hunger in several congenial venues on the property. Views are beautiful and calming, whether you face the majestic Choptank River or the woods. (I had rooms on both sides during my stays.) I loved the walking/jogging/biking trails meandering through marshes and woods and over little wooden bridges, the little beach, the infinity pool, the many lounge chairs on pristine lawns from which to watch sailboats and paddleboats, seagulls and eagles! A nice respite for this desert dweller!

Fantastic stay for Ironman events

The room was large and clean. The bell hop service was good. The location on the water was pretty. Hotel reception was luke warm at check in and check out. No "welcome to the Hyat...or How was your stay?" The hotel felt understaffed and wasn't welcoming. Facilities showed wear and tear and needs maintenance/general cleaning. Market Cafe coffee was terrible and the in room coffee was worse. Splurge on local, quality coffee and UHT half and half in the room! One pool was closed, watersport rental was closed, but the hotel was at or near capacity. Definitely didn't feel the $40 daily resort fee was worth it. Not a good value.
