It’s cheap and clean. Nothing fancy, no frills. The person that checked us in was very polite. The parking lot felt safe at night. Very close to Universal

Im really thankful that they decided to give me a full refund. I booked the last room. I knew it only had one bed and thought i could put a kid on a pull out like it shows in the picture but it did not have one. I wanted to park to resolve the problem but the space only has room to open one side of the truck. i will still stay here next time as we can walk to our destination but will make sure I get the right room. Waiting for the full refund through Hotels.com

Great hotel for the price. Great location, parking is limited. Water pressure in shower is amazing. Firm mattress but comfortable pillows. Convenient location for universal studios.

The nite in is off a busy road. The room is rather small with an abstract layout. The room was tucked into the corner. Hot water in the shower takes forever to warm up. Parking is a tight fit. Most of the spots are labeled for compact cars. There is a handicap room on the property but I didn’t see any real handicap parking spots. The desk was helpful and there is decent food near by. If you aren’t driving and want a place walking distance to the universal studios shuttle this would work.

Fantastic trip and stay! The front desk was amazing and really appreciated all their help. The room was really clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The Nite Inn was a nice little hotel. It was clean and comfortable but the room was quite small. The nice thing was it was fairly close to the shuttle up to Universal Studios Hollywood where i had come to spend 2 days at, so it was perfect for the price. Especially with free parking. And free coffee and tea with danishes for breakfast. The receptionist was funny and nice when i checked in. I was able to park and leave my car there then go to the park and check in after. Very convenient. I'm overall happy with my stay.

This is a very small but quaint hotel. We were in town for only night. Parking is very limited so beware. The room is pretty small but had everything we needed & it smelled very clean. Bed and pillows were a lil stiff but ok for the night. AC worked well & so did the water pressure. It was close to a store, places to eat & a gas station. Its on a busy street so you can hear cars at night so keep that in mind. More importantly it was close to Universal Studios. I wish i had gotten the name of the guy checking us in. He was super nice & even told us we could park across the street for free & take a shuttle to the park & avoid the $35 parking fee. If you do , go under the bridge & look up and you’ll see the walkway. Get to that, cross over the busy freeway and right there is usually a few people standing there waiting for the tram. Like i said, totally free.

We were worried when we got to the Nite Inn but it was a good stay. It’s dated but it’s clean, reasonably comfortable and the service was great. Great for a family going to Universal Studios.

We booked a 3 night stay and after the first night we left. The AC kept kicking on all night even tho we had it off. We had to unplug it just to keep it off. The sink wouldn't drain at all. The shower would smell of sewage after using it for a minute. Staff was friendly and nice. We opted to not give them a chance to change our room and just ate the cost of the 2 nights we didn't stay.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Universal Studios. There were 4 of us in our group - Adult son & girlfriend, My teen grandson & I, If we would have gotten a room that looked like the picture, it might have worked, with the extra couch and 2 queen beds. We were given a very small room with 2 double beds with a small nightstand in between, the ceiling light was the only light. No way we could all fit in that tiny room with any comfort. It was was clean enough, but very bare bones. I couldn't get comfortable there, we didn't even try to fit in the beds, I just booked a room somewhere else and left. We left so fast that forgot our dinner that was in the refrigerator. I was too tired to deal with it, so we just packed up. I am not sure if we could get our money back since we did check in....bummed.

Glad I picked this place over the “fancier” and more expensive option close to Universal Studios. Very friendly staff who share some tips on walking to the shuttle to Universal nearby.
Felt safe both nights with my young kids. Several places to eat within steps from the Inn. Will definitely be staying there again the next time we come to Universal.

Great location, staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the family room if you are traveling with kids! Would definitely stay here again. Quiet even though it's close to the freeway.

Facility older with limited in-room space and amenities but amazing service and very clean. Super convenient to visit Universal Theme park using the free Universal City shuttle

The exterior of the building and the price suggest that this might not be a great experience, but it was actually lovely. The room, while small, was serviceable and the bed was quite comfortable. Service was very friendly, and the coffee and pastries were much appreciated. Thanks for a very affordable and pleasant stay!

Contacted the hotel several weeks in advance and asked about an getting an early check in, was told that was possible and it would be $20 per hour. Asked for a 12PM check in time. Showed up a 1 and our room was not ready yet.
The tv in our room did not work. The person working the counter mentioned that there was something wrong with the cable box and he had a call with the cable company to have time come out.
We did not have cold water at all. The sink only had hot water as did the shower. This was a big deal as this is very unsafe and we had young children in the room.
Parking was ridiculous. Spaces were too small and at night they let people park where they are blocking cars in. When we went to leave the day we checked out. We were blocked in and it delayed our leaving by almost 30 minutes while we had to wait for cars to get moved.
All in all I did not like this hotel and would not stay here again.

My boyfriend and I planned a trip to Universal Studios, Halloween Horror nights for his birthday. There are 2 recommended hotels that are close to the park, both of which were a little pricey. We found this one and let me tell you, it was perfectly located. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the shuttle that takes you directly up the hill to the closer end of City Walk, near the park. By all means, we are people who know we will be at the park all day so the hotel is only needed to sleep and shower. So in that regard, the hotel room gave small studio apartment vibes. The bathroom was nice. The bed was comfy. There was a water machine and coffee machine in the lobby that was available 24 hours. They even provided breakfast treats from 7am to 9am. All in all, my boyfriend and I were so pleased with our stay, we decided the Nite Inn is where we will be staying next year when we return.

First day there, the towel rack fall of the wall when I grabbed a towel, kinda loud when people arrive to there rooms late at night but very good location for universal shuttle

We stayed at the Nite Inn for only 1 evening. Overall there for about 10 hrs or so, but the place was perfect for what we needed. It was a small room, with a little desk, and a bathroom attached. Check in was easy having a 24/7 desk. We got there late on a Monday evening, and were out early. They had coffee in the lobby by the time we were up and moving. Overall, good stay for the price. We went to Universal Studios the next day, and it was a good location and not as expensive as some of the other “Universal” hotels. Parking was also included in the stay, which was great! They have a parking lot in front of the hotel. Okay location, but you can definitely find everything you need around you. Coffee, restaurants, things to do.

This hotel is in such a great location. My family and I were spending two days in LA with one of those days being at Universal Studios. It is a 3 min walk to a free shuttle to Universal. The hotel is also next to an amazing Taco spot (shoutout to Roadside Tacos) and really close to the free ways to get to downtown LA easily. When we arrived the customer service was phenomenal and the actual room was ready and very clean. I would stay here again.

Other than the room being small and the somewhat high price for a night i would definitely still book this place again.

Room was too small. The parking was limited and the individual compact parking spaces were too small to park our truck.

The staff and stay were excellent but the breakfast service is why I’m a returning customer but now that it’s no longer an option I’m considering paying a little more some place else if they offer breakfast.
