What a lie! This property is not even close to being a 9.4 rating. Don't be fooled by those nice pictures. This place shouldn't even be on any travel website. RUN, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I would rather sleep on the beach. We travel alot with the kids and I have never seen a crappier motel. We just left, they wouldnt refund us, but at this point who cares. Checked in at 9pm and we left right away. No way I would let my kids sleep here. I'd rather take the lost than stay at this place. Unsafe, dirty roach motel. Look somewhere else.

We were so impressed by the hotel. The room was very clean and the location was amazing. The beach is a less than 5 minute walk. We loved staying here and hope to come back soon.

You cannot pull your car into a drive to check-in because there is no driveway. There is one spot on the street to use while you check-in. Construction noises at the hotel work me at 7:30. Bed was not comfortable.

Got a good deal on a room while visiting SB. The room looked nice, was fine for one night. Pros- plenty of parking, bed was fine, shower pressure was great, easy walking distance to the beach. Was quiet at night except when others nearby opened and closed their front door. Cons- floor had a slipperiness to it, like there was a film from the cleaning solution. Air unit has a very bright light and was very bright at night. At 9am very loud construction started and we were up watching tv while getting ready and it was so loud we couldn’t hear our tv. Looked like they were doing a lot of renovations so not sure if this issue will be resolved anytime soon. Also no soap in the shower containers and when we went to the office to get some, all they had were bars of soap. For a good deal, I’d stay again for one night. Would consider elsewhere for longer stays.

No frills but very nice property and staff, my room was very clean, they are currently updating other units, there was construction while I was there and it was not a nuisance. I would stay again.

Enjoyed my quick one day getaway, room was decorated cute and very clean. The only thing was that I ended up next to a room that after 8pm, I began to hear people come in and out of the room, along with hearing packing tape being used. Despite that hiccup I would definitely stay again.

We had a delightful stay at the hotel! The atmosphere was inviting and felt more like staying at a friend's place than a hotel. The convenient location, just a short walk to the beach, made our experience even better. Highly recommended!

Convenient for my needs an very short walk to beach. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Room was small, but priced accordingly. There was onsite as well as street parking. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Have stayed at this property many times and it saddens me to give it a negative review, but this is my first time staying in a first floor unit and the clomping, furniture moving, air mattress inflation, and dropping objects of the people upstairs from me is making this stay totally unacceptable. Requested a different room from management as the hotel is clearly quite empty and was told that would not be possible. It’s a shame as the hotel has other charms and great staff but I can no longer recommend this place after this stay.

Our room was charming, cozy and comfortable. The restroom was small, but that was ok. It reminded me of a bedroom in a cottage. The price was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was nicely located within walking distance to the beach, dining options and a grocery. The lovely furnished room had a coffee maker with freshly ground coffee and an unbelievable cosy bed. We enjoyed to sit in front of the room for breakfast and in the evening.

Greg was an excellent host, friendly and the in room coffee was amazing just as he promised! Peaceful, not a party town hotel, clean and well appointed and maintained. Short walk to the beach and a short Uber to the SB Bowl made it a perfect come back spot!
