For crashing in for a night, it's not a bad place.

I always stay here when I play in a softball tournament and it’s always been great.

The rooms are fairly cleaned it's noisy you can hear the room next to you if they shower in the middle of the night. They give you a couple blankets if you need it's economical and convenient for my travels.

The casino and restaurants were clean and nice. The rooms were beat up, in need of repair, with cigarette holes in the sheets and on the furniture.

This is a run down over priced old motel

Have stayed there several times for softball tournaments. The main attraction for me is the elevators. Quarter-size towels, nickel-size soap, poor lighting, no fridge. But it is inexpensive and clean enough. The bed was comfortable. Last year, there was a washcloth shortage. Okay, but why is there still a shortage this year?

Very basic, no refrigerator, microwave or
coffee pot.

Just a one night stay with my son on our way back from a trip, I’ve gone here multiple times with family and love and trust this hotel.

The room was not clean. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom from a previous guest. There was not enough towels so we asked the front desk 3 TIMES for the towels. They never showed up. The sink and bathroom were clogged so the water built up in the sink and the shower. The maids were friendly and sweet, but were not able to give us more towels because guests were only allowed a certain number. Also, the bed did not have blankets. Just ONE sheet. The bed was lumpy and the mattress was stained- yuck!

This place is about as bare bones as you can get. Comfy enough but, wow, not much else going for it.

I checked in around 8 pm and left and 4 am I was traveling from Arizona to Utah and this Virginia River hotel is half of my way so I always book a room and sleep few hr and continue on my way this time I was hit with a 150 dlls for some kind of deep cleaning fee because they said they found dog hair on the floor. I don’t traveled with dog but I brought my own blankets from home and I used it I don’t know if there was a dog hair on it but the room is not like impecable clean the chairs are dirty with stains from other ppl the carpet isn’t clean is an Old hotel and casino where ppl party and drink so I don’t understand why they are charging me 150 dlls for deep clean because they found dog hair. I tried to talk with somebody at the hotel but I can’t go through it only with a front desk agent.

The bed was hard. We only got 1 washcloth and1 hand towel. Not happy

Not so good, we even left a day early and took the loss. Very old and run down & old smell to it. Floors and corners of rooms were dirty. The place for dogs to go potty was horrible, they got stickers in their paws every time we had to take them out. Our front door didn’t lock right, we had to hold the door plate in every time we left to get it to lock properly.

All I can say to describe our room is shabby and worn out. Wayyyy Worn Out.

Our room was very beat up. Our drawers in the dresser would not stay shut and were open the entire time so you would trip on them as you walked by. Our shower head was so low it was impossible to get a good shower. The room was very dark and not enough plug for phones and Cpap machines. The pillows are as flat as can be and the towels felt like sandpaper. So disappointed.

We requested to be near my parents and they gave us connecting rooms, so that was nice.
But our AC wasn’t even turned on. We tried to plug it back in and push buttons on the cord. Maintenance had to come in and flip a hidden switch underneath the unit. Our unit then would sound like an airplane taking off. Every 10 minutes for 2 full minutes. I counted between 1-3am when we were just laying there…not sleeping…because it sounded like a jet engine right next us! It was horrible. We all got no sleep, my kids said it was the worst night ever.
The pool had no towels. I walked to the other pool to find some-it was all locked up. There was a few families at the pool, and all the kids had to shiver walking back to their room
I understand kids running around above you or babies crying. That’s nothing to do with the hotel. But no towels and the ac unit not working properly-that’s just lazy management.

Beds very comfortable, but bathroom area sink left a lot to be desired very old fixtures , wobbly toilet …. Water pressure was really good , shower water knob kept coming off , soap dispenser in shower just kept leaking into tub , water racer at sink sprayed water everywhere , hard to not spray water everywhere

Inexpensive stay, but mattress was comfortable and room was clean. The place is dated and somewhat spartan, but still a good value for the money.

The bed sheets were dirty. It was relatively cold at night in March, but there were only two fleece blankets, one for each queen bed (we were only looking for a place to stay overnight before hitting Gold Butte). The buffet was cheap but the staff were top-notch though! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, which is perfect stop for Gold Butte and Valley of Fire!

The place has no amenities, and 1 hand towel for a 2 queen room. The heater was not adjustable, meaning a hot night. The building shakes whenever people walk by.

I was charged $9 for reservation insurance by Hotels.com. I was also charged $9 by Expedia.com for the same Hotels.com room reservation. WHY?
Sincerely, Stephen P. Craig

Room was outdated and not very clean.

No place to hang towels which i found odd. No fridge or coffee machine. Was a room that was meant for you to go and spend your time in the casino!

Room was clean and quiet plus the bed was comfortable with soft pillows which did not hurt my neck! That was a really pleasant surprise.
Another plus was the delicious buffet with plenty of fresh fruit and salad items. They even had turkey when it was steak night.
So glad a room with 2 queen beds is still $45 when other Mesquite hotels are so much more in price.

The check in was great. The heater and a/c unit didn’t really work and no blanket other than the sheet was on the bed. Didn’t find the extra blankets until Moro and they were not the cleanest things.

As always this hotel is very nice and cheap. We stay here every time we come through.

Room was clean. Beds were excellent. Would have liked a coffee pot in the room in the morning. Hair dryer did not work. Good place to stay though.

You know, a casino pretty much has a license to write their own checks....you guys need to put some money back into those rooms. They're are getting pretty run down. The hot tub was good though.

The TOILET leaked, called front desk, someone came while we were out, mopped up, slowed the leak but still leaked all night.

Thought La Quinta hotels were classy so I all but insisted that we stay there. Very disappointed.

The staff was great. Very attentive when we needed something. The beds were ok, not the most comfortable but not the worst I've slept on. The pillows however was the worse. So thin we had to ask for more, which they did get for us. All in all a good experience other than those couple of thing. Definitely will stay again.

I really like the price ! But the atmosphere is so different from Vegas as well . This is our 3rd stay it’s easygoing and comfortable.

During my 3 night stay, the maids decided to clean my room even though i put the sign on the door stating to NOT service the room. Came back to room in the afternoon to find my phone charger was stolen! Asked front desk and they said "theres nothing we can do, sorry."
