It was friendly staff and clean.

The staff was amazing, knowledgeable of their surroundings, and very helpful, the room was clean but it was very outdated, the paint was peeling off the walls, the sink was placed on a old piece of wood and when you use the shower it felt like you were going to fall on the floor below.

Staff was great!

Old and dirty. Very noisy neighbourhood up to 3 A.M.

Lovely quaint hotel in the midst of the spagnoli quarter….within distance of everything
Great roof patio

Very friendly staff, centrally located in the middle of everything: food, public transportation, shopping, laundry facilities. Room was cramped and very noisy from ally below until around 4 am each nite we were there. But we got to experience the real area.

Good location near the metro. Climate control was not working even though there was a ductless unit in the room. The room was clean, but dated. The stay was tolerable because the outdoor temperature was cool. I would not stay here when the weather is warmer.

Team very kind and ready to assist you in any matter

Hotel on the whole was very good. Room was spacious lovely hot water and bed was clean and comfortable. However, I had to ask each day for tea bags and a cup. There was no water in the fridge and had to ask each night. There was only 1 plug point. The street outside was extremely noisy every night, shouting and singing until at least 2 am. The reception offered ear plugs which was thoughtful. Breakfast was help yourself continental but lovely hot croissants and plenty of choice of yoghurts cheese and ham. Coffee was great but unfortunately only 1 cup each, no refills offered. I would recommend Hotel Toledo for a short stay and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was pretty basic/no frills. The included breakfast was nice.

Cosy hotel in the Spanish Quartiers. Excellent service and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again if I go back to Naples.

Service was good and friendly. I arrived early and was able to check in, which was a bonus.
The room was small but had a comfortable bed, a nice hot shower, decent air conditioning and good WiFi.
The hotel looks tiny from outside but inside it’s like a labyrinth with lots of different rooms and lots of different floors and an outside terrace/restaurant area. It’s full of character.
As a female solo traveller I was a little concerned if I would feel safe at night as this hotel is up a sidestreet but I need not have worried as it was very busy at all times
It was a little noisy but not enough to prevent me from sleeping. I’d stay here again.

The ads and the reality where not the same. There was a bar but it hadn't operated in years, like no bartender, no glasses. The rooms needed a good cleaning, the floors in the room gritty. There was a bar out side the hotel that had a party every night. The streets are very small, the yelling went on until 12:00 midnight every night, about 80 people. Then the clean up until 1:30am. This hotel should have a 2 rating

10 min walk to the port , 10 min walking to the heart of the old town with markets an 1 min walk to the main shopping street , with excellent restaurants 1 min away would definitely stay heee again , oh and a welcome bottle of beer on arrival

This Hotel is the epitome of Naples. This was my 1st visit to Naples and I could not have found a better place to stay. They made me feel like family right away and was readily available for any recommendations I was in need of. Cant beat location!! An excellent roof top patio to have breakfast as well as come back and unwind after a day of exploring. Reliable wi-fi....comfortable bed - great plumbing/water pressure. Will definitely stay here again!

Well situated hotel can be noisy at night room was short a few things but was soon rectified, staff very helpful with local knowledge overall cheap and cheery.

The hotel was only few steps away from Toledo metro station. Very convenient as Toledo is right in the heart of Naples. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Pepe and Pino as they allowed my late check out on the day for a late flight. The room was clean and in reasonable size. I felt safe as a solo female traveller in the area.

Hotel is in great location. Staff very friendly. Hotel is a bit dated but is typical of Italian city.

This small hotel is tucked away in a little via three short blocks from Via Toledo and its subway station. Via Toledo is a beautiful stroll with shops, cafes, and eateries down past the Galleria, the Palazzo Reale, Piazza Pebliscito, to Chiaia overlooking the Bay of Naples. The hotel is near to many restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating. A rooftop terrace is a perfect place to start the day with an Italian breakfast. Bed and bedding are comfortable. My room was perfect for a solo traveler with other more substantial rooms available. One drawback is the street noise. Happy hour and into the evening the nearby clubs attract a young crowd who, despite the muffling of substantial windows, are raucous. After all, Neapolitans are vivacious, a quality that you have to love. I was happy with my six-day stay.

Location - right in the heart of the 'old' city! You do get a true feel for Naples night life - narrow vicos and cobbled roads.

Property was right in the middle of historic old town and steps from high end shopping. Staff was awesome.

Great location with friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast service is convenient and rich. There is a small problem related to noise from night parties in surrounding neighborhood.

My second time here and it's just as quirky and wonderful as ever. Definitely the place to stay when you're in Naples. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Superb location, love the breakfasts (and resident turtle) staff are great and the room is comfortable. Also has air con which is a bonus in the Europen summer. Thanks for another great stay Hotel Toledo!

The family that runs this hotel is incredibly friendly and willing to help you with anything you need. The neighborhood is loud, lively, and has everything you need. From your window you can watch real everyday life in the heart of Naples.

This hotel is in the Spanish quarters of Napoli. It is right in the center of everything. A short walk to the sea , lots of good restaurants near by, great shopping, and the staff is the best part. They made me feel very welcome and helped me book my train and tours. I will always stay at the Toledo hotel when I visit Napoli. Thank you Cero.

Super old Neopolitan hotel in the historic district. Lots of old world charm. Ideally placed for accessing all of Naples attractions, traditional and modern. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Brilliant staff. Close to the metro and for connections to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum if you like to make your own way. Would definitely recommend it.

Pino the manager was exceptional-
Helped me park my car and advise us on all areas of the city — the staff are exceptional and the hotel amazingly charming —

Hotel is located in the center of old Naples on 10 feet wide street. Right next to metro station and tons of restaurants. The room was clean and stuff was multilingual and friendly.
The only negative is that there was a lot of noise from the outside so we had to close the windows and use AC.

I should say it was not a hotel it was a motel but staff were really friendly the location was perfect for shopping and access to any where if it's not important for you to stay in a hotel with high facilities it's a great choice.

We loved the location and the staff. Most of the staff spoke English and was helpful. Breakfast was good but the rooftop location of breakfast was awesome. We loved the pet tortoise. The only negative was the hard bed & pillows, but very common in Europe so...

Since I always read the comments before choosing, I have to be honest: I consider this is a hostal or a 1star hotel as maximum and I think it's better say that it's an acceptable hostal or 1star hotel than say it's a terrible and overrated 3star hotel and I also think that it doesn't matter how friendly or nice the staff could be if the place doesn't satisfy you at all. The tourist should know that Naples's historic center is old, dirty and caotic and it's part of the sociocultural identity of the city . However the city has beautiful art pieces in its museums, churches and castles, so it's better stay outside the historic center and get the 32 euros artcard that allows you to use all the public transportation within 3 days, including the circumvesuviana trains that go to Ercolano, Pompeii and Sorrento and two entrances to museums .

The hotel is a solid 3 star hotel. The room was very clean, and had best towels I had in all 4 hotels I stayed on for my trip to the Amalfi Coast. Excellent shower head and water pressure too! I liked that the rooms were 2 to a "salon", so there wasn't a lot of hallway noise. And as a single traveller I had a room with a double bed! A big plus!
The best thing about this hotel is the location. I really liked being equal distance from both the Historical Center and the Chiaia neighborhood. The hotel is also as close as you can get to the Toledo metro stop.
