Never a good experience when a huge roach wakes u up at 3:30 am crawling on your back while u sleeping. Saw several others about so they must not clean well and was a lot of small flying bugs tgat cami inside from the rocky “patio” area. Carpet hasent been replaced in years but it was a secure and a place to rest up if u don’t mind lil critters.

The property was very old. Without good maintance. Felt dirty and had water filtration problems, water preassure problems , bathroom door didn´t always lock, they had 2 twin beds to make a bigger bed, bad smell in bathroom.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. No English speaking channels but have WiFi. Continental breakfast the same each day. Tasty food and conveniently located near restaurants, stores, local market.

The whole place is awful, smells bad, rooms are small and outdated. Only stayed because a friend suggested I should, but never again. The view from the narrow window, the barb wire, anyone looking for a prison like setting, they’ll find one here.

Rooms are in need of a renovation like 20 years ago. Rooms smell of old wood and cigarette smoke. Not a Comfortable place to stay. Never staying here again.

My assigned room was depressing with a concrete wall as the view from the room. Clean but very shabby, everything needed to be updated. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast very basic but adequate. Low price representative of standard of hotel property.

The staff was amazing. Great sports center. I have never stayed anywhere that they have an all sports complex. They have soccer, tennis racquet ball, fitness center, spinning, swimming, hand ball and much more. It is dated you can clearly see it is an older facility but they really take great care of the place. Constantly cleaning. I mean really great care. The people are so nice. The restaurants are wonderful as well.

We arrived to San Jose around 9pm. GPS gave us directions but it took us 2 hours of circulating around tennis courts to find the hotel. No signs, lights, area is very dark and one to ask. Bad experiance.

The hotel covers what seems to be an entire block, with 2 pools, many indoor and outdoor tennis courts, table tennis, racketball, fitness center, soccer, and bowling. The restaurant is excellent. The rooms are fine as they have air conditioning, which is not always the case in the area. The water pressure is pretty low, which is not a feature. The staff is very helpful. I've stayed here twice while getting dental work done, and would certainly recommend it to my friends.

This is a great place if you want to play tennis. Its not the greatest hotel, but the tennis club facilities are top notch. The hotel is English friendly, but the rest of the facility and area will be much easier navigated in Spanish.

We arrived around 4 pm to find that our booked superior room with 2 king sized beds was not available. On offer was a room next to the main road with 1 double and 2 singles ! Noise is a problem at this hotel. I complained and was told hotel was full but the did have a room which had never been used which had 1 king bed and at the other end of the hotel (less noisy). We accepted abd this was fine. This was good as I would not have stayed in the original room on offer. Expedia should explain to hotels that they should honour the booking.

No elevator, noisy! Train near by, starts at 5:00 am! Old build ing! In the past they had breakfast buffet, now they ask: Juice or Coffee... I ask for Coffee and it was horrible! That was interesting because the day before I purch a Coffee and it was good! But the one in the breakfast included is awful... No fruits! The breakfast was rice and beans with fried eggs... I like scramble but I had no choice. I you can pay this Price, book in o the hotel!

They were serving a buffet, but my guest and I didn't get a serving. They served a couple of eggs, rice and beans. No choice of fruit, because that was extra. Never felt as undervalued customer in my life. Problem with low Costa Rican business quality standards.

Dont choose this hotel if you are looking for luxurious accommodations. But if access to a great sports club works for you, this place rocks. In truth the hotel kinda sucks. It is outdated. The beds are not comfortable. There is a train that passes by frequently beginning about 5:30am. But the sports club is awesome. Great facilities. It takes a little work to access, but all is available to hotel guests. The hotel management is more helpful than the staff. The restaurant is good. Because of the club, I loved my stay and would return. If theyd improve the rooms, Id never leave!

The hotel building is next to a very busy road. There was loud traffic noise all night long. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with good selection.

Stayed at the hotel again. The Staff is great from housekeeping to the front desk Ulysess. Stayed 11 days and you never run out of things to do.
