Floor of unit was filthy. Walked from bathroom across the room to put on my socks and the bottom of my feet were black. First tried to put us in a room that smelled heavily of smoke. Staff were mowing grass and using the weed blower outside our room around 8 am in an effort to get us to wake up and leave. Would not stay here again.

This place was a fantastic surprise find. Very nice rooms, beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and the people were very nice. My only complaint was no carpet in the room so bring your slippers but that is minor. If you're coming to Victoria Texas, this is the place to stay.

This property is a diamond in the Rough!! We travel every weekend for work and tay in about 40 hotels a year. We got the kimg room with kitenette (no baking, cooking, or utensils so bring your own or got buy paper and plastic) and the queen sofa sleeper was a little dated ans springy so keep that in mind) bed was comfy, but no blanket, just sheets and a thin topper (but you can aske the fronylt desk for one ans make sure to ask gor sherts for the sleeper sofa. Water pressure was decent. Everything was clean and no complaints of bugs or a run down room :) BREAKFAST was decent waffles, eggs, sausage stix, and biscuts, freah bananas and apples, cereal....not too bad (mcdonalds is right beside the property though so just plan accordingly) Next event we do here we will definitely be staying at the Lone Star 🌟

I liked the room so much I would highly recommend this hotel for people aren't familiar with Victoria the room was out together well no cuts in the house that I had in my room it was very clean easy access to my room the hot breakfast was amazingly good and the breakfast starts at a very good time for workers who come out and wants coffee it's there right before they leave definitely worth my money

Had a very good experience. Room was fresh and clean as I walked in. Receptionist was welcoming & very friendly staff. Overall enjoyed our stay. will definitely recommend.

Excellent service and response from staff. Room was very spacious, linens were clean and room smelled nice. Very quiet and easy to sleep there. Location makes it necessary to drive a long distance outta the way to return to the hotel each night because of one way road, this wouldn’t be a problem if you only stay one night. Floors were very dirty. Made our socks or bottom of feet literally black just from walking on it. Killed 2 cockroaches in the room. A/C started leaking water into the room, so we had to move rooms. Pool was clean. Exhaust fan in bathroom blew the humidity INTO the room, instead of venting it outside?? (Bathroom exhaust fan worked correctly in 2nd room) TV remote did not work in 1st room.

We've stayed here several times, the room this time however the bed was very hard. Also the breakfast sausage made us sick. Other than that it's a good hotel, very clean and staff is very friendly. Previous stays we had no issues.

Need to be cleaned better. The floor wall trimming look gross, around the toilet floor & wall trimmings look horrible. The restroom smelled like pee. It’s a shame because the is beautiful hotel, just needs better cleaning.

The room was alright as was the location. BUT the real issue was that because of something with the AC, the floor was always damp and the air was clammy. PLUS it made my clothes damp that were out / hanging in the closet. VERY annoying.

I would definitely rate 10 of 10 . Front desk receptionist was very welcoming , quick check in . Room was fresh ,clean had all amenities .Property condition is in good shape . All I can tell it’s was beyond my expectations. Will definitely stay here again .

It was nice and clean very nice staff!!! Although its a little tricky getting into the hotel parking lot theres road construction going on. But this should be cleared up in a week or so.

The hotel was old. Bathroom door didn’t shut. There were burn marks on tub. Toilet wasn’t securely attached to the floor. Continental breakfast was very limited. I would not stay here again.

We had to find a new hotel after getting there after a long drive to see it torn down for renovations and then calling and then giving us another fake address worst experience ever. They had walls torn down and toilets in the parking lots never again.

The service was amazing. The only thing that last night i stay in room 112 the tv was not working and not enough hot water. But other than that I'm a satisfied customer. I will be staying again on Monday and Tuesday if by any chance i rather stay in this room if there available 102 through 105. I love those room the last time i stay there. Thank you 😊

The property was clean and the bed firm. The hotel breakfast and coffee were per usual for this price range. However, the facility has no elevator, and those with walking problems need to arrange for a ground-floor room ahead or choose another hotel. Managing baggage to the second floor can be hazardous. Soap/shampoo/conditioner are handled by dispensers in the shower. Check the dispenser before stepping into the shower. Our room's soap dispenser was empty.
