Everything was terrible.. not at all as advertised. Advertised washing machine.. there was none.. Air conditioning was not working.. called agent many times.. did not show up.. One room with loft bed...NO WINDOWS.. temperature outside was 90 degrees.. after 24 hours it was actually hard to breathe.. agent never came to fix air conditioning.. We left and checked into a local hotel.. Never heard from agent or anyone from the apt..we stayed only one night out of 6 we had booked!! If you have already booked here cancel!!!

Location was amazing and size of place was good.

Great location. Air-conditioned and washing machine was very welcomed. it was a clean and lovely apartment suitable for a family of four.

only disappointed was no soap, dishwashing sachets or laundry sachets for the first two days which would have been appreciated as we couldn’t find a shop to buy them

The location and it ends there

The host Pipo was rude, aggressive, intimidating and threatening. We booked 3 rooms, advised the other host Umberto well in advance of our late arrival (8-9pm) and that my daughter and her partner would be arriving a couple of hours before the rest of our group and to give her the keys to all three rooms. This message didn't get to old mate Pipo - it was obvious no rooms were ready for our arrival which resulted in him intimidating and threatening my daughter and her partner and leaving my 30 year old daughter in tears. The one room he showed them and booked them into had rising damp and mould. Filthy sink and bathroom and a bed that looked like it had been slept in - it was supposed to have a balcony with a view - the only view was of on an indoor area with broken furniture. When we arrived Pipo continued to defend the property and explain to us that it was rust and not dirt we could see. We booked in for 4 nights and one stage he let himself into my son and his girlfirened's room unannounced - she was resting on her own during the day and as you would expect was totally freaked out by the experience. The location was great but no location is worth the distress that we experienced - there will be much better and safer options than here

location was amazing. A ten minute walk from the beach, in the heart of Cefalù.

the air conditioner smelled really bad. there were no windows in the kitchen/living room area and the patio was smelly and in a miserable state. not at all resembling the pictures on the website. Water temperature in the shower was either too hot or too cold and there was little to no space. The kitchen was not functional at all, with bare minimum in cutlery and cleaning supplies.

The maintenance of the apartment was poor. Hot water didnt come for a long time because i think the entire apartment was sharing the hot water. The tv didnt work. Location was great but that also meant a lot of noise if you are a light sleeper. Wifi was weak generally

The location is amazing. Just one block from the small beach in the historic city center.

1. The main photo of the balcony overlooking the street and beach is misleading. In reality this is a building with many apartments and you don’t know which one you’re getting. I will upload a photo of our view. 2. The bed sheets and covers were old and had not been washed in a very long time. Our bedspreads literally smelled like street bums had slept on them. 3. Pippo is quite rude. A few days ago we found a family from Sweden waiting outside the building waiting to check in, so we called Pippo and Salvatrice (the hosts) to let them know. Pippo had said he would come in 15 minutes and it took him an hour. Salvatrice gave us a story about how they had a flat tire. Once Pippo finally showed up he basically chastised us for calling him while he was out to dinner with his family. Sorry, but you have a business to run. You can’t leave guests waiting in the street for an hour. Those poor people thought they were getting scammed. Our apartment was not adequate. The bedspreads and sheets need to be cleaned and the photo of the view needs to be updated.

we got dirty sheets with stains, the dishes and the kitchen was not clean. they did not answer us during the Stay, but we got new sheets, but they also had stains

The location is very good - close to the sea, restaurants, central square. The apartments are quite specious and light with nice balconies. AC is in every room, and the beds are quite comfy. There was iron and ironinf board, washing machine and some extra nice things.

There were many issues we experienced during our stay. Firstly, the communcation about check-in was not good. It was nice that the host asked to inform 1 hour in advance about our arrival. However, despite informing we were left waiting for check-in for about 3 extra hours without clear information about when the owner would come. When the owner said he is coming in 20 minutes, we still had to wait 1 and a half hour more. When the host came and let us in, he did not apologize. Instead he responded to our frustration by starting to argue with us. Secondly, already on the 2nd day (we stayed 5 nights there), the warm water disappeared for one apartment (we had booked two apartments) and there were issues with water in the other apartment as well. After informing host about it, we were promised that a plumber would come and fix it. However, nothing changed, and one apartment had no warm water for 4 days! Also the hosts were not responding to our questions after the first communication, so we were left clueless for several days. The issue was fixed only at the end of our stay. Third, there are several small things to note as well. -Even if you are 4 or more people in one apartment, you only get one key, so you must coordinate your activities all the time. - There were nice towels and sope left for us, but quite little toiletpaper. - We got no instructions on how the trash collecting works there. - It can get at time loud on the street during the night right next to the apartment. However, if you get the isolated bedroom, you hear nothing. - the biggest apartment which is supposed to host up to 6 people has only one isolated bedroom. - the electric teapot for boiling water did not work.

The apartment is just in the right center - 5metres from the great icecream place, with a little balcony - you can watch the busy life from there and also see the sea!

WARNING: the man waiting for us at the apartment was trying to look helpful at first (he was giving us advice about the parking and so) and then in a hurry asked us to pay him 50€ as a city tax (2 adults with 2 Little kids staying for 3 night). As we already travelled through Sicily I asked him way do we need to pay so much when kids under 10years don’t pay and so on. He got nervous, made a few calls and then asked 20€ for me and my husband. I already checked the city tax in Cefalú on-line, another lies from him, another calls, when i asked receipt, he told us his phone doesnt work anymore ect. At the end we paid 6€ and he practically ran away with no goodbye and no further information about the apartment, check out ect. The street gets really busy in the night with a lot of music and noise, but thats what expected when in the center.

Good location, close to restaurants and attractions. Nice to be able to wander around the old town.

The apartment had an outdoor area which was great but didn’t have any outdoor furniture in it so couldn’t use it.

Very clean and modern property in excellent location. Great shower and plenty of wardrobe space. Property had two outside spaces which was great, a quiet courtyard and a small balcony with views to the beach.

Not much to dislike. We contacted the host by text a few times to ask how things worked - so if there was an instruction book at the property this would be good. Where to leave rubbish, how to use equipment etc. Only other thing that would improve the experience would be a few more pillows.

The Appartment was modern and clean, the location was perfect. And it was also really quiet, due to the good isolation of the windows. Would always come back!

Very good location. Very close to the Duomo, lots of restaurants and bars around.

Very very hard to find parking spaces close to the house. Apartment seemed bigger in pictures, definitely not big enough for 4 adults.

Brillant location. Great street to be on with all the restaurants and close to the beach/harbour. Its at the heart of the old town and it just so beautiful. Nice having the balcony and the apartment had everything we needed to have some simple meals. The host was very good in letting us check in a bit earlier and check out a bit later too. We would totally recommend this place to anyone going to stay in Cefalu.

Music was a bit loud from the bar across the road, but OK once the balcony doors were closed. We slept fine.

It has good location

- very weak kitchen equipment (no knife for cutting, no detergent for washing dishes, a lot of old and sometimes broken dishes) - one roll of toilet paper for all stay - weak communication - not very clean place

Location- close to everything . Little balcony to people watch and enjoy a glass of wine .

Little noisey outside on the weekend from the bars opposite. They apartment should invest in better quality towels . Shower hose should be cleaned or replaced.
