Candle wood took the money from Hotel. Com and said they never sent it. Kicked me out that day

I stayed for 2 nights for my 35th class reunion. The room was perfect for getting ready - nice and spacious (queen suite with a small kitchen) with great desk space. I was able to keep it at a steady 64º, exactly how I wanted it.
The desk staff was friendly and outgoing.
And I have never slept better. 12 hours the first night, 9 the second (and it would have been more if I hadn’t had to check out).
Definitely returning.

The stay was amazing. Only two things I have that might be considered a complaint- 1) My reservation was for a king suite but I got a queen and they didn’t tell me I had to call down to the desk. It was very comfortable though. 2) the pool was supposed to be heated and it was freezing.

My reservation was for a king but was given a queen( which looked like a double). When I asked if kings were available, I was told yes but that I couldn’t have one. I asked why as my reservation was for a king (showed reservation to front desk lady) and she said because I booked through hotels.com so I couldn’t have the bigger bed. If I wanted it I would have to book with them directly. But they advertised the king bed on hotels.com?! Anyways, their loss as I book 25-35 nights a year in Windsor locks. Will be going elsewhere

The room was very nice.
Only issue was the pull out bed.
When we pulled it out, it still had a DIRTY sheet on it.
And there was tins of crap under the couch.
I told the front desk lady and she apologized and brought new sheets.
Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay!!!
Would definitely stay again and again.
I love the DOVE products in the bathroom too!! A plus

The front desk staff were very professional, efficient and helpful. This was a first time stay and I would recommend this property to anyone staying in this area.

Staff at check-in was fine but should have been friendlier - no smiles, no feeling of warm welcome.

My stay wasn’t as pleasant as I hoped for it to be. Angel greeted me well and was kind. Checkin was fine but maybe 2 hours into my stay the fire alarm went off. I’m grateful everyone was safe dvd I understand this was beyond the hotel’s control but my issue was the communication from management. The manager lacked people skills … left everything up to the receptionists instead of working as a team. When guests, questioned him on the status of the hotel, he replied with snarky remarks. His communication to guest was poor. Again this incident is not in anyone’s control but customer service was everything. In the morning, I got a knock on my door where I was question if I was aware it was after 11. There checkout is at 11 not 12. I thought it was 12. I felt rushed though the worker did say it’s okay and told me to take my time. The knocking continued down the hall as they made others aware or inquired if they wanted there room cleaned. All this turned me off and I wouldn’t recommend it or stay there again.

Room and hotel was clean. Very nice and close proximity to the airport. When booked we were told the shuttle was 24/7 but it only runs from 4:30am-10:30pm

This hotel was a good enough place to stay for an early morning flight. The decor was a little outdated, but the rooms were comfy and clean. There was a shuttle to take you to the airport and the driver was prompt and courteous. The bonus was being able to leave my car on the property for 10 days at only $10 a day.

The room was fairly clean yet when I asked for linen for the second bed( non on it) I was denied both nights! The worst hotel stay of my life! Thank Jerome, manager, to respond to me, ever!

The room itself was nice with the full kitchen, but the bathroom looked old and never updated, grout was not looking good. Also the walk in closet did not have a light. It would have been nice. Front desk staff was very good.

Everyone is so friendly. The room was great. The only thing is I wish they had different pillows. Down pillows are horrible. The other is they need to have bigger tvs in the rooms. Overall we will be staying there again.

Honestly this was a nice hotel. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I was prepared to go 5 stars but the next morning when I checked my card there were unbelievable charges. The hotel room and a $40 hold for incidentals was ok. But there were 2 other $100 holds and another $40. They cleared them right away but had I used my debit card I would have been in trouble. No explanation why it happened.

The hotel was convenient to the airport. Shuttle service and ability to leave the car were plusses. Room could have been cleaner. The ice maker made noises all night. Staff was helpful and friendly
