I was impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby. It was well kept. That was the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, we couldn't go straight up to our room because the machine that scans the key cards wasn't working. The extremely friendly, kind desk attendant tried over & over again to alleviate the situation. Finally, after 20 minutes, he was able to scan the cards and get us a key. Our room was on the 3rd floor. The interior of the elevator was extremely dirty & I wondered if I had chosen the wrong hotel. The first thing I noticed when I exited the elevator was that the tile below our feet wasn't grouted. We walked into the hallway leading to the rooms only to discover the floor was under construction. The carpet had been laid but the edges that were trimmed off were left along the floor on the sides of the hallway. Large buckets were at the end of each side of hallway. The room numbers were written on blue painters tape on each door. There was no sign directing you which direction to go based on your room number. The hallway was very dirty-as I would have expected due to the construction. The furnishings in our room were new but the carpet & bathroom floor were dirty. It wasn't finished but it would work. The sheets looked clean and the mattress was new but there were no curtains. A roll-up blind was in place but it was transparent. The parking lot street lights provided a spotlight directly into our room. We didn't get any sleep thanks to the lack of window treatments.

The hotel is being beautifully renovated. New carpet, new beds, removing bathtubs and installing wall-in showers. Our room was spotless and very nice. Our first evening here there was a homeless person camped in a corner of the outdoor patio. They were not there the following evening.

It was a good stay overall but they were in the middle of remodeling and had hallways torn up and elevators not working properly and other little things outside of the room that were eyesores or minor inconveniences. I understand the need to remodel facilities but maybe it could be done in a way that doesn't impose on the people staying? The location is just off the major street through town so it's a little loud and was hard to sleep but I'm also a light sleeper anyway so that's more on me and not them. The room was excellent. Everything nice and clean, plenty of space, nice facilities in the room. Very happy with the actual room. Staff was fine and cordial as well. Would stay again.

Check in was slow do to knew employee. Tile in bathroom was broken. Elevator was not working right.

It was great experience, hot tub worked great. The elevator was a little worrisome cause it would stop on 2 l the time but comfortable stay. It also had a blind that let in much light and so it was hard to get to sleep and worried about changing in room.

Very pet friendly. The facility was clean and great services from the staff.

Room 226 needs painting, water damage in bathroom, toilet old poor working, door delaminated tile looks old, chairs stained furniture marred, All in need of updates

The hotel was run down. Poorly maintained and felt shabby. The bed was comfortable.

Very dirty. There are stains on the shower floor and toilet. The sheets are scratchy and the beds are thin/hard. The walls are paper thin. The desk lady was very nice.

Great property with pets. We always stay at La Quinta when traveling with our 3 dogs. Clean, safe, and the staff is always top notch!

All the staff was very accomadating to our wants and needs. They responded quickly to our questions and they to be certain they understood what we were asking.

Didn’t have water hot enough for my shower! Dirty and cracked tile and shower enclosure! Super hot inside I should have opened the window to let it cool off! I’m done with LaQuinta this was their last chance!

Property is currently under renovation. For some reason my room smelled like sewer gas and bleach. Not sure what the interior designer was going for, but if it was stark and unappealing, cold looking, he/she nailed it. Kind of institutional or maybe prison like. Not for me.

Nice place with helpful friendly staff.

The toilet in our room ran after flushing - loud enough to keep us awake at night. The pipe with the water "sang" and banged while water was running. We could only get it to stop by removing the top of the tank and pulling up the float. We didn't discover this problem until well after the maintenance guys were gone for the day. Since my hubby had an upset stomach, he was in the bathroom multiple times during the night. We did not get a good night's sleep due to plumbing problems that night. There was also mold or mildew growing on the walls in the bathtub/shower area. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. We had stayed there a few years ago with no problem, so we were disappointed. We did not stay for breakfast - left for home quite tired.

The elevator was temporarily out of order when we checked in and my husband is unable to climb a lot of stairs, so the desk attendant changed our room from the 4th floor to the ground floor for our convenience. It was greatly appreciated.

Not recommended for anyone in the travels that Hass to keep ice for their medication they do not offer freezer in the room or on the facilities that you can access

very poor property...mold in the bathroom, beds very uncomfortable. We have stayed in La Quintas in the past but they were nothing like this.

When we arrived we were travelling for 11 hrs reason we booked this hotel was it had a hot tub after 11 hrs it would be nice to soak when we went down there the hot tub was cold and milky looking obviously it’s not being taken care of then we were going down stairs for breakfast no breakfast cook didn’t show up so we left this hotel not happy

You cant have a lobby as beautiful as that and the let the rooms be what they are. It was such a let down. Lol Clean though, so that was good. But the rooms could use a nice makeover.

I booked a King room on Expedia. When we arrived they said they did not have a King available. It took a bit of time for them to figure out where to put us and we ended up in a double queen. I believe the limited rooms were due to the remodeling going on on one floor. The were friendly, however, and took care of us. The room was clean and I'm sure will be updated as well.

The property was pet friendly and suited our needs. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Checkin took too long. The gal kept answering the phone and I was waiting for her to finish with me. Bad customer service. Checking out, I received the wrong amount and account info for my room and was told they could not correct this. Not impressed and would not recommend.

It was great!!

Personally, I had a great stay. I found it clean and comfortable enough. The TV worked well. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, as well as other selections. I would absolutely stay here again.

The property condition of the interior of the hotel was pathetic. Walls in bathroom were like a patchwork quilt. Tile had grout everywhere. Lack of maintenance was apparent everywhere. La Quinta you used to be a decent place. Not. Any. More.

The heater didn't work, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work

Hotel was remodeling the room above us. Lots of loud noise too listen to. Breakfast was a joke, couldn't cut the biscuits with a knife. Sorry to say that our whole experience with Dodge City was very disappointing!

Probably below average for this brand of hotel. Carpet not real clean, not well lit. The weeds have overtaken the flower beds. It's not a Marriott or IHG hotel but I'm sure it's better than some of the other motels in town.

Room was very dated. Was not cleaned well and the climate control system was very loud and not working correctly.
