Hotel was beautiful, check in was easy, beautiful infinity pool and delicious food from the restaurant however, we were told the power would be off the next day, but was not informed that the hot water heaters were electrical. We were forced to take cold showers. Not really a big deal. You’re in a tropical region, but it would have been nice for the hotel to be Honest in its entirety. We were unaware that everything was electrical. The manager said he was unable to compensate us for the inconvenience!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice pool and beach. It did seem like there wasn’t great attention to detail in cleaning/maintaining rooms. I.E. missing tiles in splash pool, dirty shower grout, lots of chipped paint, etc. if mobility is an issue, may need to check on what floor your room is on. We stayed in pent house (3rd floor), and stairs were only option, which fortunately was no issue for us.

“ Las Terrazas was one of the best resorts I have ever experienced. From the extra special warm welcome to the wonderful meals and spacious accommodations, not to mention the fantastic adventures we were able to pre-book, my experience was incredible. This trip was a sort of homecoming retreat for me with it being my first time in Belize (even though I’m Belizean) and Las Terrazas went above and beyond to make it a wonderful and meaningful experience for me. Jahfeth, Lucy, and Bernie were the best parts of my time at Las Terrazas and immediately made me feel at home. The suite we stayed in was beautiful and clean! There is only one restaurant on the property though, so eating got stale real quick. Other thing I didn’t enjoy wasit costs $80 usd per day to rent a cart to get around in the town, so we spend the time relaxing in the resort for the duration of our stay. The beach area was just okay, there was A LOT of sea grass (which is what the staff called it) which makes the water appear darker than it is and also left an itchy water experience.

Our stay at Las Terrazas was nothing short of phenomenal! This was a milestone birthday/girl's trip and it was fabulous! From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we were greeted by personable and professional staff, Belizean Rum punch and welcome mini-massages! What a start! Also, I can't forget about "J the Prophet" and his skipper picking us up from the airport going to the hotel. They made it a fun and pleasant ride 8 minute boat ride! Also, upon our arrival, the staff upgraded us to the penthouse which was fabulous! The private pool is all that! There was also a complimentary bottle of wine in our suite. Our penthouse suite was exceptionally clean and stayed that way the whole time by Maria. She also took care of our special room requests as well. Although there was a small issue with some dinner bills, it was quickly resolved by Luz (Lucy) and Yanissa. Yanissa, Lucy, Maria and "D" the Happy hour DJ took care of us but there were about 7 more staff members that deserve the credit too. I cannot remember all of the names. But because of you all, when we return to Belize, we will definitely stay at this property again. Thank you for making my 50th birthday milestone memorable! You better BELIZE I'll be back! :-)

Nice property with spacious and current decor. Restaurant and staff were excellent. Pool is refreshing and central. The spa services were fantastic. Amenities missing were a gym and a hot tub. Lagoon facing unit”s description did not mention that the 2nd bathroom was on the 2nd floor, not attached to the unit and not air-conditioned. That was a big detractor and that bathroom was not used because of those conditions.

Gorgeous property right on the water. Very attentive staff. Convenient golf cart rentals right on the property. Only complaints, which applies to most restaurants we visited on the island...they DO NOT put alcohol in your cocktails! We were really frustrated by this all over the island. Otherwise, it was a fantastic place and we would stay there again.

The resort is beautiful and well kept. Rooms are extremely clean. Staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. Management extremely attentive. We had a beach front room, which also had a pool view—absolutely amazing!! We will definitely come again. We rented a golf cart (standard transportation for San Pedro) and it was a fun and lovely ride (10-15 minutes) to and from downtown as well as to the famous Secret Beach. This place is a gem, wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Special thanks to Bernie and Manager Steve for making us feel like family.

We really wanted to like this place as it was the end of our Belizean vacation, but it ended up being our least favorite of 4 places we stayed in Belize. Candice and Jahphet are excellent, but the rest of our interactions with staff were mediocre. We had problems with Wifi, serious plumbing issues, lack of electricity in many outlets, and despite very expensive drinks at the bar, the taste varied significantly from good to completely undrinkable. Its a beautiful property, but we just ended up leaving disappointed.

We stayed at this property over a decade ago when it was first being built. At the time the O Restaurant wasn’t even open. Great to see how everything turned out! Location is amazing, short trip to secret beach, restaurants and activities on the North Side. Facilities are clean, staff is great, food is delicious and reasonably priced. If you are an Expedia Gold member the upgrade is awesome. 5/5

This resort was average at best based on other places we have stayed in Central America. The food was limited and the same menu all week. Not a lot of chooses and they were always out of something. The restaurant staff for the most part where below average with the exception of Daphiay. She was friendly and always had a smile. Most people working here never smiled.

Las terrazas is a beautiful well kept place Staff is attentive and professional, it is located far from center of town but close to secret beach, my only issue was the lack / variety of food, they only have one restaurant with limited choices and not very good food we had dinner and breakfast once then decided to eat elsewhere . Pool area is nice with plenty of chairs and towels, water temperature was pleasant. Overall place is very good except for their restaurant.

The staff was amazing, fantastic service. The food and drinks were delicious. The restaurant even cooked the fish we caught, excellent ceviche! The resort was pretty quiet with no entertainment or activities except the excursions you book. While the island is very underdeveloped, loved cruising around on our golf cart and seeing all the locals. Secret beach was really fun for the kids, although not like your typical Caribbean beaches. If you’re used to all inclusive vacations at a resort with lots to do and lots of food choices on site, you may be disappointed. Prepare for a simple vacation with no frills, but relaxing.

I was generally satisfied with Las Terrazas. That said; there were some issues, with spotty WIFI and housekeeping. The Stateside sales person was absolutely worthless and uncooperative. The GM on the property was more than great and took care of everything. Be careful of the room service charges, + the high cost of on premise food and drink.

The property is very pretty. The internet service in the room is not great. The Beaches are not usable because of all the seaweed due to global warming which is not the hotels fault. However, had I known that I may have gone to a different destination. I did leave my favorite bathing suit there unfortunately, they said it was not there and I’m over 100% sure I left it there. So if you accidentally leave something there you will never see it again.

What a great hotel! Secluded location allows one to really relax and enjoy the time around one of the most beautiful infinity pools. Pedro at the front desk was a delight to wonderfully helpful and was a delight to meet at the front of a unique lobby. The staff was delightful and always helpful. A fabulous place to stay on a wonderful island.

The customer service was superb. The staff was very punctual upon the arrive and departure. I recommend purchasing the pick up and drop off package. The boat ride to and from the property is relaxing almost like meditation. Hidden Treasures is a great place to eat in the island!
