Arrived in San Bern by Amtrak late evening and needed overnight accom until catching Greyhnd/Flixbus next morning, so we got this no frills hotel. Its close to both the train depot and dwntwn bus terminal and food which we needed. 5min Uber to hotel since the bus route out of service for night .Hotel- low end of my typical budget ones Ive used, sketchy upon arrival but had newer cars in lot so continued with check in. Appears to be getting some updates, currenly 1 star status from my travels. Checkin at window outside the blg only. Looked like a coffee /bkfs roll area inside but was told no services for that. And no in room coffee maker, so plan to walk few blocks to doughnut shop or fast food. Not suggested to walk out there after dark since limited street lights and those who wander walking around. Pool -avail sign shows 7am -6pm. Appear to not have $ to buy white towels -washrag -all dark greyed/black stained like garage rags -but smelled clean, same with my towel. Mattress/pillows/tv table surfaces were good, appear updated. Linens were clean, bathroom clean. Air cond unit way up in wall by ceiling so need tall person on chair to see temp/control the thing. Need $.50 for ice (old coin -op) machine. Roach looking bug 1/2" long came out from under bed after arriving, then smaller one crawled on wall behind headboard, then noticed a handfull crawling all around tub edge. Pulled bed a bit away from wall for piece of mind. Keep everything off the floor, including your shoes!

place was ok not bad for a nights sleep - the towels in the room were very dirty - they were washed but in desperate need of replacing they were stained and had an old odor. the bed linens and floor was clean no complaints, good water pressure nice hot water, call working girls in the parking lot at night and the pool was closed without warning it was super hot a dip was needed - air conditioner worked fine - I wouldn't stay here again only because I need clean towels and it shows that the hotel owners are too cheap to replace huge miss.

Check in was took longer than normal. They asked for a cash deposit when online through 3rd part didn’t specify of a ca sad h deposit. Location was dirty. Room wasn’t properly cleaned. TV didn’t work. No extra TP roll. Trash cans on premises where overflowing Work trash. In the area for a concert. Won’t be booking her again that’s for sure.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this hotel since the beginning. I knew I was arriving later then check in time so I called a head that we were in our way but running late we still needed our rooms. The person who answer said it was fine and no problem. When we arrived the guy who was there told us our reservation was cancel and had no rooms. The changed his mind and said he had 1 room. I needed 3 non smoking rooms with two beds. He went again to change his mind that he had 3 room single bed in the smoking area. Well end up taking them since it was late and we were tired. Once we got our rooms blankets/ sheets were stained. Bathrooms were dirty. The refrigerator was old falling apart and rusted. Also in the morning it was leaking water. No breakfast or coffee at least since it advertise “free breakfast”. At no point the person that worked there never apologize for the inconvenience nor offered any changes. Very unfortunate, unsatisfactory, uncomfortable. I can say I won’t be coming back here. Ever!

The staff and house keeping go above and beyond to take care of you. I appreciate being taken care of. The management in the office also treated us with much respect and kindness. They have to deal with the customers or people who aren't even staying there. Our stay has been above and beyond excellent service.

They were very friendly. It had been about 6yrs. since we had stayed there. The rooms are updated. Compared to a couple other Hotels who need improvement. I'm very pleased with our stay. There's also no bugs or roaches which is great. I recommend the RodeWay Inn. The prices are within reason as well.

When we arrived at check in, we were told that no visitors were allowed. There was also no parking in the lot due to the other tenants having visitors and when we brought it up to front desk, they wanted us to move our car onto the street. Don’t stay here any longer than 1 night because you’ll stay up for hours just waiting for another car to leave the lot. Better yet, just save the money and stay somewhere else

It was a cheap Motel. Stay for the night and that’s it. Not the best area. Towels were dirty, light switches were sticky/broken. The fridge was only a freezer and there were dips in the floor. Wouldn’t recommend. They did have hot water but a $60 cash only deposit was not a plesent surprise.

We were required to pay $60 cash up front for incidentals, which I did actually get back. We stayed in the accessability room. Room smelled like smoke and had cigarette burns on bedding. Toilet kept clogging. Shower faucet dripped. Towel had stains. Manager gave me new towel. The location was cold and noisy. I reported the plumbing issue, and we were given access to the room next door, but we ended up checking out before dawn.

It was adaquate

This was the cleanest budget-hotel room I've ever stayed in! And the manager on duty (one of the owners) was professional, friendly and 100% service-oriented.

I pre-paid a room and had to pay extra because they didn’t have the room I booked and they only had one room which was a “delux.” The “white” towels did not look so white and the fridge looked dirty.

It was great, a lot of things to see nearby and easy access to the highway.. we went to the concert in glen helen amphitheater and it only took 10 minutes, definitely staying here again and rooms were clean and everything work worked

I did not like anything. I was not able to even stay the night because I did not have a deposit I screenshot the page where it talks about only fees and taxes which my total was 104 or 109 with all taxes and fees and did not include a deposit like others

Got a call earlier in the day from what i assumed was the manager asking what time i would be arriving. Thought it was a bit weird, but said probably around 9pm. Some things came up that we left later than expected. As I'm about 15 mins away from arriving the manager calls back again and says that since i did not show up at 9pm they gave my room away. I said, how can my room be given away if im already booked and have a confirmation number? I would understand if i called asking for them to hold a room for me, but if my room is already booked they shouldnt be "giving it away" especially if im not arriving within the time frame of check in. After telling him how can my room be given away if i already booled the room he says oh you do? Let me see what i can do, puts me literally on a 2 second hold and then tells me, "oh no we have your room ready for you". So what is it? Is my room given away or is it ready? To top it off once we get there we're told theres a $60 deposit that wasn't on the booking at all. Other than that the room was clean, but i would not be returning.

The manager Azeem is a scamming thief. He tried to charge me double when i asked for a 2 bedroom instead of one. When i said no, he then said okay $80, i said no again, i said maybe $20, he said no, then called me later to tell me he could. When leaving he did not give back my $60 deposit. I assumed it would be taken off the credit card purchase. It was not, i called and he will not refund my credit card.

The hotel is pretty run down. Floor was warped and the shower water doesn’t get warm. Also you have to pay for ice which is only enough for a cup

Very disappointing! Two hours before our arrival we got a call from the property demanding to know when we were arriving and telling us there would be a $60 cash deposit required for "incidentals".Upon arrival, they demanded photo ID for every adult in our party. We had two rooms, one ADA compliant. That room had no bedside lamp, the TV and refrigerator were broken. In the morning we were told that the advertised free coffee and tea were unavailable "due to Covid". I call BS because I have stayed at numerous places during the pandemic and they have all figured out a way to deliver coffee or tea to their guests!

Great customer service. Area a bit sketchy, but overall safe. Be prepared to put down a cash deposit (we were not aware of the policy until our check-in).
